Mick Foley started his long crazy career in 1986. Soon after he was signed by WCW and wrestled under the name Cactus Jack he eventually  went on to wrestle with them for about 8 years. during his WCW tenure he won the WCW Tag team titles with Kevin Sullivan.

Upon his parting WCW Mick went on wrestle in Japan ion a brutal series of Death matches some of which you can buy on DVD.

After Japan Mick went on to wreak havoc in ECW. Being the king of hardcore he seemed to fit in nicely eventually obtaining a Tag Team championship run with Mikey Whipreck.

In April of 1996 Mick was finally called up to "The Big League" when he was signed by the WWF. They gave him his Mankind gimmick.  During the early months in the WWF he had a lengthy feud with the Undertaker.  This feud featured a couple of firsts in the WWF the Boiler Room Brawl and the Buried alive match. Eventually Mick would end up amassing eight WWF tag title runs these were with such partners as Al Snow, The Rock, Kane and Chainsaw Charlie.

Soon enough in the winter of 1999 Mrs. Foley's baby boy achieved his childhood dream he won the WWF World Championship. This was the beginning of a long standing run of great matches including the very first Half Time Heat in which Mick won his second title. Mick's career eventually came to an abrupt end at the hands of Triple H at No Way Out in 2000.

Even though he retired, he came back to the WWE in 2004 for WrestleMania and is still appearing every so often on WWE TV for the RAW shows.  So much for being retired!
