Rey Mysterio, Jr.
Rey Mysterio, Jr. is one of the smallest wrestlers on TV today or ever. He is known for wearing his mask while in WCW and WWE, but he also has been on TV without it. Rey got his start wrestling in Mexico, while he was still in high school. He joined WCW in about 1996 and competed with a mask in the Cruiserweight division, quickly becoming a favorite of the fans.
He won the WCW Cruiserweight Championship a few times and then headed for bigger things. He won the WCW Tag Team Championships with three different partners and he ended his career in WCW the day it was bought from the WWE as the WCW Cruiserweight Tag Team Champions along with Kidman. During WCW, he joined up with Konnan, Tygress and Kidman, with great success wrestling such great stars as Kevin Nash, Chris Jericho and Ric Flair.
He joined WWE in June 2002 and joined the Smackdown! brand of the WWE. He competed in the Cruiserweight division and had his pay-per-view debut with a loss to Kurt Angle at King of the Ring 2002. He was out for a short while with an injury, but he is just as good as ever, and expect him to rise to the top of WWE like he did with WCW.
