Sting is one of the legends of wrestling today. He is also one of the few men to wrestle exclusively for WCW.
Sting started his career in wrestling as a bleach blonde surfer look-a-like. At one time he was in a tag team with The Ultimate Warrior. He quickly became a fan favorite and wreslted many great matches against Ric Flair for the WCW Heavyweight Championship. He won the title on a few occasions. He has become life long friends with Lex Luger.
In 1997, as the nWo was at the top of their game, Sting left and mysteriously appeared in new black and white gear and began a feud with Hollywood Hogan that made it to the main event of Starrcade of that year. He was a member of the nWo Wolfpac for a short while, but became even more popular after that stint.
His last match on TV was against Ric Flair as the final main event for Nitro (March 25, 2001); he lost. Sting was seen wrestling for the WWA, which was shown on pay-per-view in February 2003.
Sting appeared on several NWA TNA pay-per-view events in 2003 and still looked just as good as he did when he started back in 1985!
