Raw is War

Nassau Colosseum, Uniondale, Long Island, New York
April 30, 2001

Mick Foley came to the ring to a standing ovation as RAW blasted off live from the Nassau Coliseum!

Mick said that now that he's no longer commissioner, he basically just wanders around making personal appearances, and he figured that Long Island was a perfect place for a personal appearance! Foley said he also cheered his ass off last Thursday when Undertaker tossed Stone Cole Steve Austin through a plate glass window. Foley said that, come Judgement Day, Undertaker would make Stone Cold even more famous than he already is! Mick said that he didn't want Stone Cold to get upset, because when the Undertaker made Mick famous, it allowed him to take time to write his new book!

As Foley continued to talk in the ring, William Regal ran to just-arriving Vince McMahon and told him that Foley was in the ring! Mr. McMahon quickly went to the ring, with his daughter Stephanie and William Regal in tow.

Vince grabbed a microphone and told Mick that he reminded Vince of an unwanted houseguest, because you never know when he'll show up, and when he does, he stays too long! Mr. McMahon told Mick that things have changed since Mick was fired - The Rock had been suspended and Stone Cold and Triple H formed an outstanding alliance. Vince also mentioned that Triple H was a little under the weather and would probably not be at the arena! Finally, Vince said that there was a respectable commissioner in William Regal. Vince then told Mick to get out of his ring!

Vince said he had a better idea - instead of having Mick leave, he would have Rikishi throw him out of the ring!

At that, the 400-pound Samoan Rikishi came out to the ring. Mick told Rikishi that he didn't have to touch Mick, because he watched Stone Cold, when he returned, hit Rikishi repeatedly with a steel chair while Regal and Vince sat by idly! Mick said that Vince and Regal were there now, but where were they when they needed him?

Stephanie said that Rikishi better listen to her daddy, because Mick didn't and he got fired! Stephanie said he better go give Mick a Stink Face immediately! As Rikishi stood there, Stephanie slapped him! Rikishi then flattened William Regal with a boot to the face! As Mr. McMahon, Stephanie and Regal retreated to the back, Mick Foley told them to cut his music and play Rikishi's music!

The sound technicians then hit Rikishi's dance music! Mick and Rikishi then brought the house down with an amazing dance performance! As he danced, Vince returned to the stage and said that he was going to have the police throw him out, and he was also going to have Rikishi fight Stone Cold in the night's main event!

During the break, police escorted Mick Foley out of the arena.

Kurt Angle came up to Edge and Christian and apologized for snapping at them last week. He also said they probably snapped at him because they were so upset that Chris Benoit stole his gold medals. Kurt said that if Edge or Christian saw Benoit, they should get him, snap his ankle, and take the medals back. After Kurt walked away, Edge said he hoped they could get the medals back, just so he wouldn't have to hear Kurt talk about it any more.

In one-on-one action, Kurt Angle faced Bradshaw. The Tough Texan really pounded on Angle as the match began, but soon, Angle tossed Bradshaw out of the ring. Then, live from WWF New York, Chris Benoit asked his waiter if he accepted gold! As Angle watched on, Bradshaw nailed him with a Clothesline from Hell! Angle then rolled out of the ring and ran up the ramp! Angle ran to someone's car, threw him out, and took off!

Before their match against Edge, Christian and Rhyno, the Hardy Boyz told Eddie Guerrero that the only reason they were teaming with him was because Commissioner Regal forced them to. Eddie went on to explain to them that he wants to see Lita beat Chyna, but Lita stopped him and said that it would take a lot more than talk for the Hardys to trust him. Eddie shrugged and said he'd show them in the ring.

That match was next, and it began with Matt Hardy in the ring with Christian. Soon, several tags were made, and Jeff Hardy found himself in the ring with Christian. As Christian pummeled Jeff, Eddie Guerrero distracted the referee! Soon, all six competitors found themselves in the ring and Lita nailed Edge with a hurricanrana! As Rhyno lined up to hit her with a Gore, Eddie Guerrero got in his way and took the hit! Rhyno then covered Eddie for the pin.

In a Fatal Fourway, Jerry Lynn defended his Light Heavyweight Title against Taka, Crash and GrandMaster Sexay. Lynn rolled up Crash to retain his title. After the match, he kicked Crash a few times for good measure.

As the Undertaker joined RAW live from World Wrestling Federation Television studios in Stamford, CT, J.R. asked him why he was banned from the building. Taker said that Vince was just trying to protect his investment - Stone Cold! Taker said he saw the fear in Austin's eyes last week, and Vince could do all he wanted to protect him. But, at Judgment Day, Austin had better be watching everywhere. Taker promised that at Judgment Day, he would skin Austin's rattlesnake ass, and afterwards, he would be wearing Austin on his boot!

Chris Jericho talked to Michael Cole about his Steel Cage match against William Regal. Jericho said that after two months of handicap matches and bad decisions, William Regal made his worst decision yet - facing Y2J one-on-one in a steel cage!

As Regal made his way to the ring, he said that Rikishi would learn his lesson later, just as Jericho would learn his lesson in that cage!

The long feud between Chris Jericho and William Regal would come to an end inside the steel cage that Regal began to enter! Jericho came out to the ring and the two men began to brawl. As the crowd chanted for "Y2J," Jericho attempted to climb out of the cage. Regal caught him and tossed him into the center of the ring. Regal then walked towards the door to the cage, but closed it in order to continue to punish Jericho! After Regal suplexed Jericho off the top rope, the commissioner stopped to wave to the crowd, which allowed Jericho enough time to recover and go for a Lionsault! Y2J missed, however, and regal began to climb the cage. Jericho went after the commissioner and the two began tossing punches at each other on the top rope! Regal eventually fell off the rope, allowing Jericho to resume climbing. Regal crawled toward the door, but as Jericho climbed down the outside of the cage, he kicked the door into the commissioner's face! Jericho dropped to the floor to take the win!

Jonathan Coachman asked Stone Cold about facing Rikishi. First, Austin said that Taker was pathetic and sick! Stone Cold said that Vince's 24-hour "Cooling Off" period was ridiculous! Austin also promised he would be wearing Undertaker's ass on his own feet! Austin then told Rikishi that he was a jackass; he couldn't get the job done when he tried to run him over, and he wouldn't get the job done later!

In women's action, Molly Holly took on Lita. Before the match, Chyna, Lita's Judment Day opponent, came to ringside for guest commentary. After Lita and Molly both flipped and tossed each other around the ring, Lita picked up the win with a moonsault. At that point, Chyna walked into the ring and held Lita's hand up in victory! As Chyna bent down to check on Molly, Lita spanked her and slid out of the ring!

Mr. McMahon came in to Debra's dressing room and told her that he really enjoyed when she slapped Undertaker last week. Debra asked him if it was better than when she slapped him! Vince then asked Debra if she would get him some coffee. Debra just stared at him until he finally said he'd go get it himself!

The battles between X-Factor and the Dudley Boyz would come to an end in a Six-Man Table match! Both teams battled fiercely, wanting to win this final match of their long feud. X-Pac had Bubba cornered for a Bronco Buster, but D-Von hit him from behind. That allowed D-Von and Bubba to hit X-Pac with the Wassaap headbutt! As they went to get the table, Albert ran over and put his boot through the table! Albert then went after Spike, but Raven ran out to the ring and nailed Albert with a kendo stick! Spike then nailed Albert with a Dudley Dogg through a table, getting the win for the Dudley Boyz!

In the parking area, Chris Benoit arrived at the arena wearing Kurt Angle's gold medals!

Michael Cole asked Rikishi about his match against Austin later. Rikishi said he had a few guarantees - that he would back that ass up, and that someone would get the Stink Face!

At WWF new York, Kurt Angle asked the doorman where Chris Benoit went and where the gold medals were. The doorman told Angle that Benoit went back to the arena!

Benoit then walked out to the ring and said that he had grown attached to the gold medals! He said that they made him feel like a real-life gold medallist! Benoit said he would give Angle the medals back if Angle beat him at Judgment Day! Angle took the challenge and promised that he would take his medals back! Benoit said that, to keep Angle's mind at ease, he would keep the medals in a safe, warm place! Benoit put the medals down his pants!

As Benoit walked around backstage, Edge and Christian stopped him. They said they could do things the easy way or the hard way. Benoit said that since they outnumbered him, they would do it the hard way! The three began brawling and found themselves in Chris Jericho's locker room! Jericho and Benoit both fought off Edge and Christian!

Out in the arena, Mick Foley bought a ticket and sat down behind Paul Heyman and J.R.!

In the night's main event, Rikishi took on Stone Cold Steve Austin! Before the match, Vince McMahon and Stephanie came out to the ring and noticed that Mick had bought a ticket!

Austin and Rikishi took it to each other and eventually, Rikishi had Austin cornered for a Stink Face! At that point, Vince got up on the apron and distracted Rikishi, allowing Austin to hit him with a low blow! Austin then hit Rikishi with fierce punches to the face! Austin kept hitting Rikishi as he got up to his feet, raising Austin up on his shoulders! Rikishi dropped Stone Cold on his back, and then dragged him into the corner! Austin crawled out of the ring and grabbed a steel chair, but the Phat Man stopped him before he got back in the ring! Vince then got in the ring and Rikishi flattened him! Then, Rikishi hit Austin with a Samoan Drop and got a two-count!At that point, Stephanie got in the ring, and as Rikishi sized her up, Austin hit him from behind, shoving Stephanie in the corner in the process! Austin hit Rikishi with a Stunner to get the pin and the win! Stone Cold then dragged Mick Foley into the ring and went after a steel chair! Before he could climb back in the ring, Foley and Rikishi had grabbed steel chairs! Rikishi took advantage of the situation to give Stephanie a Stink Face! Stephanie gagged as RAW went off the air!
