Raw is War

Cincinatti, Ohio
May 15, 2001

The Two-Man Power Trip, Stone Cold Steve Austin and Triple H, along with Stephanie McMahon-Helmsley, entered the ring as RAW kicked off live from the Firstar Arena in Cincinnati, Ohio! Stephanie grabbed the microphone and asked for the audience's undivided attention for her husband and Stone Cold. She then handed the Game the mic.

Triple H said that Kane was apparently not the most intelligent person in the world, because all he had to do was stay away. But instead, Kane made a return, leaving the Game with no choice but the finish the besting he had given Kane earlier this month. In order to do that, Triple H said he would put the Intercontinental Championship on the line in a Chain Match at Judgment Day! Triple H then demanded that Kane come out to the ring to accept the challenge!

When Kane didn't respond, Stone Cold said that Kane wasn't stupid enough to come out and accept that challenge because the Game would beat him so easily! Austin added that he was not afraid of Undertaker, because Taker didn't have what it took, and Austin said he would win, because he was Stone Cold Steve Austin!

Austin also said that since he and Triple H haven't defended the Tag Team Titles, he would offer a shot at Undertaker and Kane immediately! Austin said Taker and Kane probably wouldn't come out because he was a coward!

The Undertaker had had enough, and he came to the entranceway with a chain around his neck! Taker said Austin was so full of crap that his eyes were turning brown! Then, on behalf of Kane, Undertaker accepted Triple H's challenge! Taker added that he and Kane would take the Tag Team Championships later on RAW!

Then, Kane's music hit and the Big Red Machine entered the ring from the crowd! The Brothers of Destruction both cleared the ring of the Two-Man Power Trip!

As Commissioner Regal watched on from his office, Kurt Angle entered. Regal asked Kurt if he was ready for his match with Rikishi. Kurt wondered how a match with Rikishi had anything to do with getting his medals back, like Regal had told him earlier. Regal said that Rikishi's actions of late have gone unpunished, and if Kurt Angle defeated the Phat Man, the Commissioner would allow the Olympic champion to name the type of match he and Chris Benoit would compete in at Judgment Day!

That match between Rikishi and Kurt Angle was up next, and Phat Man strolled to the ring. Kurt seemed overmatched by Rikishi's size from the get-go, and the action spilled outside the ring. Eventually, Rikishi tossed Kurt back in the ring, when Kurt was able to gain the advantage after Rikishi missed a legdrop. Rikishi recovered and tossed Kurt into the corner! Just as Rikishi was going to give Angle the Stink Face, William Regal ran out to the ring! The Commissioner beat down Rikishi until he was lying in the ring!

In a breaking story, Jonathan Coachman informed everyone that the police had arrived at the arena and supposedly they were making their way down to the locker room area to talk to the Undertaker!

As Molly Holly prepared for her match later, Crash came up to her and wanted to talk to her about Spike Dudley. Crash said that Spike was a Dudley, and Dudley put women through tables, and even though they haven't done that in a while, Crash was afraid of what might happen to Molly. Molly told her cousin that she was just talking to Spike, and that she was impressed with what he did in a match! Molly added that Spike was sweet, and different from the other Dudley Boyz. Crash said that if Molly wanted to be impressed, she should watch Crash in his Hardcore match later on RAW!

Dean asked Eddie what was up with him helping the Hardy Boyz and Lita. Dean asked Eddie if he remembered any of what the Radicalz have been though in the past with Team Xtreme. Eddie said that he was a team player and that Dean and Perry Saturn would find out what he was up to later!

Trish Stratus walked out to the ring and told the crowd that Mr. McMahon would not approve of what she was about to do! She said that everyone deserved to see a lot more of her - such as Trish in a teeny-weeny bikini! Trish also said that people should see all the Federation Divas in bikinis! Trish then showed a video of the Divas at a photo shoot at the Hedonism Resort! Click here to but that video!

In the back, Coach said that the Undertaker was speaking with a police officer in his locker room! As Coach spoke, the Undertaker rushed out of the building with his bags over his shoulders! Coach stopped the police officer, and asked him what happened. The officer said that he had just informed Taker that his wife had been involved in a car accident. He said that he couldn't offer an update on her condition, but he could say that she was at a hospital. The police also offered the Undertaker an escort to the hospital to see her.

In tag team action, the Hardy Boyz went up against Dean Malenko and Perry Saturn. Eddie Guerrero accompanied his fellow Radicalz to the ring, and Lita joined the Hardys. The high-flying match ended with Terri trying to give Perry Saturn a chair. Eddie Guerrero grabbed the chair from Terri and smacked Perry Saturn with the chair! Matt Hardy rolled Perry up for the win, and then after the match, Eddie smacked Dean Malenko with the chair!

The police officer was just about to leave the building when Stone Cold Steve Austin caught up to him. Stone Cold asked the officer how Undertaker took the news about his wife, and the officer said Taker was obviously upset. Austin thanked the officer as he left.

Rhyno defended his Hardcore Title against Crash. The two men absolutely brutalized each other, with both high-flying moves and hardware pulled out from under the ring. Crash nearly picked up the win after nailing Rhyno with a street sign, but the Man-Beast kicked out. After Rhyno got up, he nailed Crash with a trashcan and covered him for the pin, but Spike Dudley ran out and put Crash's foot on the ropes, stopping the count! Rhyno grabbed Spike and threw him into Crash! As Crash fell, Rhyno made the cover to retain his championship, but after the match, Crash got up and repeatedly hit Spike over the head with a garbage can lid!

As Kane was leaving the building to check on the Undertaker and his wife, Commissioner Regal told the Big Red Machine that if he left as well, he would have to fire both of the Brothers of Destruction! Kane stormed back to the locker room area.

Edge and Christian went up against Chris Jericho and Chris Benoit in a tag team match in which all four competitors were native Canadians. Benoit brought Kurt Angle's Olympic gold medals to the ring with him, and during the match, he hung them from the ringpost. During the match, Benoit locked Christian in the Crossface, but he was quickly knocked away after an Edge dropkick. Jericho entered the ring and flattened Edge and then ran over and knocked Christian off the apron! Tags were made and Jericho entered the ring against Edge. After again knocking Christian off the apron, Y2J locked Edge in the Walls of Jericho! Just as Edge was set to tap out, Christian pushed Jericho away! E & C went to nail Jericho with a Con-Chairto, but he ducked! Then, Kurt Angle ran down to the ring and grabbed his medals off the ring post! In the ring, Jericho hit Edge with a Lionsault to pick up the win! After the match, Benoit told Kurt he hoped he liked the medals he had, since they were made of candy! Benoit pulled the real medals out of his tights, and told Kurt that if he wanted them back, he had to beat him at Judgment Day!

After Kurt left the stage, he stormed through the backstage area, where Michael Cole stopped him and asked what kind of match he would choose at Judgment Day. Kurt said he didn't know yet, but he wanted his medals back, because they were his!

Kevin Kelly asked Chris Jericho about the match he had just won. Jericho said that Edge and CHristian had positively reekd, but before he could finish, Edge and Christian attacked, and left him lying after nailing him with a Con-Chairto!

Commissioner Regal entered the ring and told the crowd that, while he was sorry about what had happened to the Undertaker's wife, but as the commissioner, he still need to put on a show, and still needed a main event. So, he was putting Kane in a handicap match against Triple H and Stone Cold in RAW's main event! Regal also said that he was tired of Rikishi waiving his bottom about, so he Regal promised to give the Phat Man the thrashing of a lifetime in a match at Judgment Day!

After Regal finished speaking, GrandMaster Sexay danced his way down to the ring. Sexay told Regal he needed to go get a double-dose of chill-pills! After Sexay talked some more, Regal said that he couldn't understand a bloody word he was saying. Sexay said that Regal needed to loosen up and get funky! Sexay asked if anyone in the crowd wanted to dance in the ring! The GrandMaster chose four women in the front row, who entered the ring and began dancing very close to the commissioner! After Regal refused to move, Sexay asked him if girls weren't his thing! Regal nailed Sexay and took him down, and put him into the Regal Stretch! Regal then angrily left the ring!

In Stone Cold's dressing room, Debra said that it was awful what had happened to Undertaker's wife. She said that she hoped nothing like that ever happened to her. Austin said that nothing like that would ever happen to her.

In a women's tag team match, the odd combination of Ivory and Molly Holly teamed up to take on Chyna and Lita. During the match, Lita went to tag in Chyna, but the Ninth Wonder of the World told Lita to get back in the ring! Lita went on to struggle against Molly, but picked up the win after hitting Molly with a moonsault. After the match, Chyna raised Lita's arm, but Lita just stared at Chyna in disbelief.

Stone Cold walked in to Regal's office and asked the commissioner if he though the handicap match featuring Triple H and Austin against Kane was fair. Regal said that it was, so Austin said that he still wanted the match to have the Tag Team Championship on the line!

In the back, Michael Cole asked Lita what happened in the match. She said that she didn't know why Chyna wouldn't tag in. Then, Chyna walked up and said that she wanted proof that Lita was ready. Lita said she was ready, and then, before walking off, Chyna told Lita that, speaking from personal experience, no one should trust Eddie Guerrero.

As Triple H and Stone Cold prepared for their match, they discussed the rumors surrounding the condition of the Undertaker's wife. Triple H said he heard that he was suffering from massive hemorrhaging. Stone Cold said that he heard her face was all cut up and that, if she did recover, she would never be the same again.

Test teamed up with the APA against the Big Show and Bull Buchanan and Goodfather of the Right to Censor. Bull Buchanan picked up the win after Big Show nailed Test in the face with the ring steps!

In the back, Michael Cole asked Kane about his handicap match. The Big Red Machine told Undertaker and his wife that the match was for them. Kane then began swinging a chain around, saying that the destruction he left in his wake was for Austin and Triple H!

Coach asked Stone Cold if he had any sympathy for Kane heading into the match. Austin said he didn't feel sorry for Kane, and he promised to do anything to defend his Tag Team Championship!

The main event was next, and Tag Team Championship holders Stone Cold Steve Austin and Triple H made their way to the ring first. As Kane walked toward the ring, he brandished the chain that he had been whipping around earlier. The match began with the Two-Man Power Trip assaulting the Big Red Machine. Eventually, the referee cleared out the ring and Kane began battling with Stone Cold near the announce table. Austin dragged Kane back in the ring and started pounding on him in the corner.

Austin and Triple H tagged in and out effortlessly, and Kane soon found himself lying in the center of the ring. Kane got up and tossed the Game out of the ring, and then chokeslammed Austin! Triple H climbed back in the ring, but had the chain wrapped around his hand! The Game began pounding on Kane, and it didn't take long for Austin to join in! The Two-Man Power Trip began dismantling Kane, blow-by-blow!

Austin grabbed a microphone, and said he didn't want anyone to think he was heartless, but he did say he had a feeling Taker's wife would be just fine! Stone Cold and Triple H started pounding on Kane again as RAW went off the air!
