Raw is War

Denver, Colorado
September 16, 2002

Triple H scored another knockout, Stephanie McMahon hit Eric Bischoff where it counts and the Intercontinental Championship changed hands on an explosive episode of RAW live from Denver!

In retaliation for The Game's interference in his match, Rob Van Dam assaulted and bloodied Triple H before the main event match. Somehow, The Game managed to overcome a furious onslaught by Jeff Hardy and choked out the high-flier to successfully defend the World Championship!

After being confronted by a group of a protesting women's rights organization, the RAW General Manager brought the ladies into the ring so they could express their outrage at Bischoff's treatment of women lately. The Bisch, however, theorized that the women were actually lesbians, and he urged them to engage in some HLA!

However, when the women refused, Bischoff accused them of looking for their 15 minutes of fame. As Bischoff began to say he had just three minutes left, one of the women stepped forward and kicked him square in the groin! The other women cleared the ring as the assailant stripped off her wig to reveal the snarling face of Stephanie McMahon!

SmackDown's General Manager uttered the magic words "three minutes" and prompted Billy & Chuck to race out to annihilate Bischoff! The former Tag Team Champions even managed to fend off an attack by Rosie & Jamal!

After Billy, Chuck and Stephanie were chased from the building, Bischoff issued a challenge. He offered to have Rosie & Jamal face Billy & Chuck this Sunday at Unforgiven. If the SmackDown! tag team won, Bischoff promised to pucker up and kiss Stephanie's ass! However, should the RAW team come up on top, Stephanie would have to engage in some HLA! Expect an answer to the challenge this Thursday night on SmackDown!

In other action, Chris Jericho defeated Rob Van Dam and took the Intercontinental Championship thanks to some interference by Triple H. With RVD distracted by The Game, Y2J locked in the Walls of Jericho and got the submission victory. Later, Y2J celebrated exuberantly backstage with champagne. Bischoff then gave Jericho his first title defense this Sunday at Unforgiven against the 16-time World Champion, Ric Flair!

After tensions boiled over in the ring, Booker T offered the Un-Americans a blockbuster match for Unforgiven. This Sunday, Test, Christian, Lance Storm and William Regal will clash with Booker T, Goldust, Kane and Bubba Ray Dudley in a red-hot eight-man tag team match!
