THE GAME CASHES IN

24 hours after Survivor Series saw the end of Stone Cold Steve Austin’s career, the first night of the new Eric Bischoff administration on RAW saw one surprising turn after another. Apparently, the shockwaves from one of the most intense pay-per-view events of the year were of such magnitude that they followed the RAW Superstars from Dallas to Beaumont, Texas--the site of one of the most incredible two hours of RAW this year!

Bischoff began the night by granting every member of his Survivor Series team – as well as Triple H – one wish for the evening and declaring that those who fought against him were on their way out the door. Triple H took advantage of the new era on RAW and, along with Bischoff, scheduled a Handicap Match between himself, Randy Orton, and Batista against World Heavyweight Champion Goldberg. After scoring the pinfall victory, Triple H cashed in his favor and announced that they would meet next week on RAW for the World Heavyweight Championship. Just as Triple H tried to once again injure Goldberg with a chair, Kane appeared to scare off Evolution and attack Goldberg!

Speaking of surprises, a WWE Superstar made his surprise return to RAW last night when Matt Hardy stunned the RAW audience – and longtime girlfriend Lita – by appearing on The Highlight Reel and announcing that his contract with SmackDown! was up and he would join the RAW roster. And if that was not surprising enough, during an Intergender Match between Lita & Hardy and Bischoff & Molly Holly, where Lita would lose her job if her team lost, Hardy turned his back on Lita, allowing Bischoff to score the pin. Afterwards, Hardy announced that it was over between him and Lita. When things appeared to be hopeless for Lita, Christian saved the day by using his favor with Bischoff to get Lita’s job back.

The first night of the new Bischoff administration was also one of the hottest nights for RAW this year. And with RAW Roulette returning next Monday night and the match between Triple H and Goldberg already scheduled, next week promises to be even hotter. Will Kane once again spoil Triple H’s plans for Goldberg? What will Eric Bischoff do next to those who speak out against him? Only one way to find out … tune into RAW next Monday Night at 9/8 PM CT on Spike TV!
