The intro video for RAW lays out the storylines, angles and arcs that will continue to unfold tonight.

Paul Heyman is in the ring and is here to represent his client, Brock Lesnar. Heyman shows a clip of Lesnar dismantling 3MB last week on RAW. It was a brutal onslaught that few could hope to survive. The audience is reminded that Lesnar challenged HHH for an Old School Steel Cage match at the Extreme Rules PPV. Heyman was looking to find out from HHH tonight if he would accept the challenge. However, Heyman claims that HHH is not present at RAW tonight. He goes on to read an email from HHH that says he wasn’t present at RAW and he would address the issue next week. Heyman starts to put down HHH and calls him a gutless coward who didn’t have the manhood to appear here tonight.

HHH’s music hits, and Paul Heyman looks like he has just seen a ghost. Trips walks out onto the entrance ramp and then slowly makes his way down to the ring. Heyman says that HHH fooled him this week. He says he believed the email. HHH admits he lied. He wants Heyman to go back home and tell Lesnar that he accepts. HHH grabs the arms of Heyman and sets up for the pedigree. Heyman, who has HHH for similar attacks in the past, is prone and unconscious in the middle of the ring.

R-Truth v. Antonio Cesaro

Truth performs his entrance rap on the way down to the ring. Antonio Cesaro is next out and decides to show Truth up by yodeling his way down to the ring.

Cesaro is fast on the attack at the onset and after a bit of back in forth grounds Truth. The crowd begins an, “Ole” chant. Cesaro locks on a headlock and looks for a submission. Truth is able to escape and connects with a vertical suplex. Truth is looking for the win as he follows with a heel kick. This match is over.

Winner: R-Truth

Brodus Clay w/ Sweet T v. Damien Sandow w/ Cody Rhodes

Clay uses his size to gain the advantage. He slams Sandow and looks for a cover, but Sandow kicks out. Brodus backs Damien into the corner, but Damien gets his leg up to block the splash. Clay looks to shake it off and lift up Sandow. Clay is countered and ends up falling backwards and crashing down to the mat. Sandow covers, but Clay kicks out. Sandow has a reverse headlock applied. Clay escapes and whips Sandow into the corner. Brodus connects with a running splash. He manuals into a T-Bone suplex. Cody provides a slight distraction which allows Sandow to roll up Clay for the three count. Brodus looks stunned.

Winner: Damien Sandow

Dolph Ziggler is in the back admiring his World Championship. AJ walks into the shot and calls him Zigglypuff. Dolph says a Championship would look great around AJ’s waist as well. Langston is soon in the background so Ziggler tells him to go away and stop creeping. Langston walks away with a stern puff. Ziggler and AJ start to lock lips. Vickie shows up from behind and breaks them apart by shouting excuse me. Brad Maddox is in tow. AJ is annoyed but Maddox says it won’t take long. Vickie explains that if Dolph loses his Non-Title match against Chris Jericho tonight, then his Triple Threat Championship at Extreme Rules will become a Fatal Four Way.

Back from the break Michael Cole updates us on the CM Punk situation by saying that there is no update as they can’t get in contact with him.

The Shield appears on the Titantron and cut a promo for their match against Kane, Daniel Bryan & The Undertaker later tonight. It’s Taker’s first match on RAW in over 3 years. Tonight will be the night that justice is served. No one will forget The Shield.

Chris Jericho v. WWE World Champion Dolph Ziggler w/ AJ Lee & Big Langston

If Ziggler loses then Jericho will be added to the World Title match at Extreme Rules.

Jericho’s expertise allows him to gain the early control. Ziggler pounces back to apply a headscissor. Chris escapes and hits a dropkick. Ziggler is whipped into the ropes, but decides to slide out of the ring. Dolph laughs with AJ and Langston as they taunt the crowd. Jericho hits a baseball slide from the ring to back of Ziggler.

Back from the break, Jericho connects with a few chops. Ziggler is whipped into the corner, but dodges to miss a splash. Jericho crashes head first into the steel post and then falls to the outside of the ring. Jericho appears dazed. The referee begins the 10 count. Ziggler exits the ring to roll Jericho inside. Jericho kicks out of the cover and hits a few punches. Ziggler looks to his Sleeper for guidance and begins to bring sleepiness to the life of Jericho. Jericho escapes and tries to regain the momentum. Dolph counters a Walls of Jericho by kicking Jericho away. Jericho responds with an enziguiri. Cover, but Ziggler kicks out.

Jericho runs to the ropes to leap for a Lionsault. Langston gets in a cheap punch to the face. Ziggler attempts a cover, but Jericho kicks out. Ziggler again looks to his Sleeper. Jericho struggles for a bit before being able to break the submission with a back drop. The crowd begins to do the wave. Jericho is pumped up and leaps for a Lionsault. Ziggler gets his knees up. Ziggler hits the Zig Zag and goes for the cover. Jericho kicks out! Dolph is stunned. He climbs to the top rope, but Jericho shakes the ropes so he falls. Jericho follows up after and hits a huge Superplex. Cover, but Ziggler kicks out.

Jericho looks for the Walls of Jericho. He cinches on the move as the crowd cheers him on. Fandango’s music hits and Jericho is visibly annoyed. Ziggler uses the distraction to hit another Zig Zag. This match is over.

Winner: Dolph Ziggler

Josh Mathews is in the back with Mick Foley. He discusses the Ryback/Cena match at Extreme Rules by pushing some of his own projects.

Sweet T w/ Brodus Clay v. Cody Rhodes w/ Damien Sandow

Rhodes connects with a couple of jabs to the chin of Tensai. Sweet T displays his strength by holding Rhodes in the air for 20-30 seconds before slamming him to the mat. Rhodes kicks out of the cover. Cody applies a front headlock. Rhodes hits a disaster kick. Tensai kicks out of the cover. Rhodes is whipped into the corner and dropped with a couple of shoulder thrusts. Tensai pushes him back into the corner before hitting a monkey flip. Tensai connects with a tsunami dive against Rhodes in the corner. Tensai pulls him towards the middle of the mat and begins to shovel. Tensai lands with a backsplash.

Winner: Sweet T

Kane is in the back with Daniel Bryan. Bryan wants to know when Undertaker will be arriving. Kane says Bryan will know when he is here. Bryan is not pleased because he says they need to strategize. Kane tells him not to worry about the Brothers of Destruction. Bryan is upset that people are referring to them as the Brothers of Destruction and Daniel Bryan when it should be Team Hell No and The Undertaker. Bryan says he needs to talk to him. Kane tries to explain it doesn’t work like that, but Bryan insists that he be able to show him diagrams. Kane says he’ll take Bryan to see Taker, but he has to promise not to show him diagrams and especially not to try and give Taker a hug.

Kane and Bryan both hit the floor. Boots are shown which seem to indicate that this was a Shield attack.

Josh Mathews is in the back with Ryback. Ryback cuts a promo but bizarrely has his face mostly shown from the side at an awkward angle as he reads his lines. He closes with, “Ryback Rules”.

Big E. Langston v. Zack Ryder

Langston immediately hits a high back body drop. Langston shoves him back towards the corner. Ryder reverses and lands a couple of blows. They run the ropes until Ryder leaps and Langston catches him in the air. Big drops him over his knee for three backbreakers. Langston charges at Ryder as he gets to his feet in the corner. Ryder blocks and leaps from the top rope for a big drop kick. Langston isn’t too fazed as he drops Ryder for his finisher following a lariat. Lawler decides this week it is the “Big Finish” as the commentators continue to refusing saying the name of Langston’s finisher on RAW.

Winner: Big E. Langston

The Undertaker’s music hits. The lights go out in the arena and smoke fills the entrance ramp as the gong resounds.

The Shield’s music hits and they surround the ring. They enter and start to attack Taker. Bryan and Kane come charging from the back. Despite being attacked they make their way down to the ring to aid The Undertaker. Shield is tossed out of the ring.

The Undertaker, Kane & Daniel Bryan v. The Shield

Bryan starts the match against Dean Ambrose. Bryan backs him into the corner and delivers a couple of blows. Bryan whips him into the ropes and knees him in the gut. Bryan gets behind Ambrose and starts to stretch his arms.

Kane gets the tag and charges into the ring. Kane backs him into the corner and hits a strong uppercut. Kane grabs the arm of Dean and tags him Taker. Taker backs him into the corner and punches him repeatedly. Kane pulls him to the middle of the ring and rams his shoulder into the arm of Dean repeatedly. Ambrose is pulled towards the corner and Taker looks to walk the ropes. Ambrose pushes back and stops the offensive. Taker responds by retaking control and this time making it up on the ropes for Old School. The move connects and Kane gets the tag.

Ambrose kicks Kane under the chin and tags in Roman Reigns. Kane pushes Roman towards the corner and tags in Bryan. Kane whips Bryan at Roman. Bryan goes for the cover, but Roman kicks out. Kane gets the tag again and drops a knee on Roman. Reigns fights back and grounds Kane. Cover, but Kane kicks out.

Rollins gets the tag and chokes Kane against the second rope. He works Kane in the corner before tagging in Ambrose. He lands a few punches before tagging in Roman. Reigns gets behind Kane for a rear choke. Kane breaks it by hitting a side slam. Rollins gets the tag and leaps straight into the right hand of Kane. Bryan gets the tag and unloads on Rollins with a few kicks. Bryan flips out of the corner bounces off the ropes for a hard lariat. Rollins kicks Bryan in the gut only to be tossed out of the ring. Bryan follows right after with a suicide dive or in his case a flying goat. Bryan rolls him back into the ring and then climbs to the top rope. Bryan leaps and hits a huge missile dropkick. Bryan charges for a splash, but Rollins moves out of the way.

Back from the break Roman Reigns is in control of Daniel Bryan. Bryan tries to get to his feet but is swatted down to the mat. Reigns tags in Rollins who begins to kick the former World Champion. Bryan is whipped towards the corner. Rollins is yelling towards Taker and Taker looks furious. Bryan is whipped into the corner as Ambrose gets the tag. Ambrose drops Bryan and hits an elbow. Bryan is backed into the corner and kneed in the gut. Ambrose slams him towards the ropes. Ambrose holds Bryan suspended in the air as Rollins jumps into the ring and connects with Bryan’s neck.

Reigns gets the tag and charges for a splash. Bryan moves out of the way. Bryan starts to crawl towards the corner. Taker gets the tag and tosses Reigns straight out of the ring. Rollins is knocked off the apron. Taker grabs Ambrose pulls him into the ring. He delivers a series of blows before hitting a leg drop. Ambrose kicks out of the cover. Taker looks for a Chokeslam. Rollins comes in and gets grabbed for a Chokeslam as well. Reigns takes out Taker with a Spear before he can deliver any damage.

Kane gets the tag and hits a side slam on Rollins. Kane climbs to the top rope and hits an arm lariat. Kane looks for a chokeslam, but Rollins spins free and kicks Kane in the head. Rollins escapes and tags in Ambrose. Bryan gets the tag and climbs to the top rope after Ambrose is laid out. Dean gets to his feet and knocks Bryan down. Chaos erupts in the ring and surrounding area. Taker fights with Reigns and Rollins as Kane comes to his aid on the outside. Bryan leaps form the top rope onto Ambrose, but Ambrose rolls out of the way of the headbutt. Ambrose covers and this match is over.

Winners: The Shield

Mick Foley is in the locker room with John Cena. Cena warns that Foley has been foolish to call out Ryback. As a result Ryback has asked for a face to face meeting in the ring. Cena believes Foley is in store for some trouble so he hands him a steel chair which he asks him to take down to the ring.

Fandango v. William Regal

Fandango takes a moment to dance at first. Regal responds by charging at Fandango. He delivers a slew of punches. Fandango kicks him in the hand and then pushes him back into the corner. Regal reverses and lands a few blows. Fandango kicks him in the head and then hits a Russian Leg Sweep variation – which is apparently his finisher? This match is over.

Winner: Fandango

As Fandango makes his way up the entrance ramp Chris Jericho appears and attacks him from behind. Jericho tosses him off the ramp. Jericho then turns his attention towards Fandango’s dancer. He holds out his arm and does a little dance to Fandango’s chagrin.

Divas Battle Royal

Naomi, Layla, Tamina Snuka and AJ Lee

Kaitlyn was on commentary for this match. The match gets down to the final two of AJ and Layla. AJ was knocked out early in the match. Layla pulls AJ towards the side. AJ seems to magically regain her awareness and tosses Layla straight out.

Winner & #1 Contender for the Divas Championship: AJ Lee

Foley’s music hits and he makes his way down to the ring. He says that he did not come here tonight to have a confrontation. Ryback told him that if he has something to say he should say it face to face. Foley says that he is out in the ring so it is time for Ryback to make his way down.

Ryback’s music hits and he feeds himself more all the way down to the ring. He asks how Cena giving him a chair could help him out. Foley says when he was given the chair he was offended at first, but the truth is that if Ryback unleashed his best on him then Foley wouldn’t be able to get back up. Foley plays video of Ryback walking away from The Shield attack on John Cena last week.

Ryback responds by saying that he knows what he did. He loved doing it. Foley asks him what happened to the guy who arrived in the WWE with no fear and stacked the world on his shoulders while saying, “feed me more”. Ryback is getting worked up and warns Foley not to keep going. Foley says that he used to get up every single time and give it his best. Three times it resulted in him winning the Championship. Ryback will no doubt be a Champion one day. But, Foley asks if Ryback really wants to become the Champion by walking away from Cena while he was being attacked. Extreme Rules is coming soon.

Ryback goes back and forth with Foley as he is not pleased with the fact that Foley is saying he isn’t a man. Foley holds his chair up in the air. Ryback stares him down and yells at him to look him in the eyes. Ryback grabs the chair and tosses it out of the ring. Foley stares nose to nose with Ryback.

Cena’s music hits and he runs down to the ring to make the save. He gets in between the men before a fight can break out. Foley exits out of the ring. Cena and Ryback square off as they look to fight.

The Shield’s music hits and they make their way out through the crowd. As they make their entrance Cena walks towards the apron. Cena walks up the ramp and allows The Shield to surround Ryback much like they did to him last week. The Shield members get up on the apron and enter the ring. The three on one attack looks to be too much for Ryback to handle.

Cena charges back into the ring with a steel chair. Cena attacks the Shield members and sends them back into the crowd. Cena gets into the ring and drops the chair. Cena stares down Ryback and then grabs him and places him up on his shoulders. Cena delivers an Attitude Adjustment to close the show.
