“Then. Now. Forever.” The WWE video leads us into the show.
Michael Cole, Jerry “The King” Lawler, and JBL welcome us to the sold out
Allstate Arena in Chicago. The New Age Outlaws will defend their WWE Tag Team
Championships against The Usos. We’ll also see Daniel Bryan take on Batista.
CM Punk’s music hits, and the place comes unglued! The cheers quickly turn to
boos when Paul Heyman walks out to the ring instead. A gigantic “CM Punk” chant
breaks out as Heyman stands in the center of the ring. He holds the microphone
out for the crowd to keep chanting. Heyman says CM Punk deserves louder than
what they’re giving right now. They go even louder with “CM Punk” chants. Heyman
sits in the ring with his legs crossed much like CM Punk. Heyman says he came
here tonight to tell the story of a Paul Heyman Guy that was never truly wanted
in WWE. A Paul Heyman Guy that they thought was too small to main event
WrestleMania. A Paul Heyman Guy that didn’t have the right corporate look and
too many tattoos. This is a Paul Heyman Guy who would rebel against the system,
the Authority, and the first family to a degree that they didn’t want him in WWE
from day one, and they don’t want him in WWE right now. Heyman came here tonight
to tell the story of a Paul Heyman Guy that had the balls to say what nobody
else had the balls to say. Heyman is here to tell about a Paul Heyman Guy that
was born, raised, and still living in Chicago. The arena is going nuts right
now.
Paul Heyman repeats his name, and he says this is his “pipe bomb” about CM Punk…
who is not here this evening. The crowd boos loudly for that. A loud “CM Punk”
chant breaks up. Heyman says he agrees with them. No one is more upset about
Punk not being there than him. If Punk were here tonight, he would be doing
exactly what he claims to do. He’d prove his detractors wrong and show the WWE
Universe that he is the Best in the World. So what really happened? Why isn’t CM
Punk here tonight? Why won’t anyone talk about him anymore? There is a finger to
point around here. There is someone to blame. There is someone to hold
accountable for why CM Punk wouldn’t put up with it anymore. There comes a time
when you must risk your job security and point the finger of blame. Heyman
points the finger of blame at the WWE Universe. The crowd boos.
Heyman says they can boo him all they want. The truth hurts. Heyman says this is
why he likes lying because the truth stings. When CM Punk was with him, he was
the longest reigning WWE Champion of the past twenty-five years. Heyman provided
the outlet for Punk’s soul to be nourished. The fans took Punk away from him.
They made CM Punk their hero. They said they’d give him the love and respect,
but it didn’t get them far. They didn’t just take CM Punk away from him. They
took CM Punk away from themselves.
Heyman doesn’t just blame the WWE Universe. He also blames the Undertaker. This
downward spiral began when they couldn’t beat The Streak at WrestleMania. Heyman
says he wants revenge on the Undertaker. How do you get revenge on him and kill
what is already dead? Heyman wants to see The Streak taken away from the
Undertaker. There is only one man on the planet that can do that. There is only
one man who can conquer that. That man who can do that is his best friend in the
world. He is the Beast Incarnate, Brock Lesnar!
Brock Lesnar’s music hits, and he comes out to a great reception from the crowd.
His hand is taped up from being stabbed last week. Lesnar stand in the ring, and
the crowd chants “CM Punk.” Heyman has a replay shown of what Undertaker is
capable of. They show the replay from last week’s RAW when Undertaker stabbed
him in the hand and chokeslammed him through the table. Back to live action, the
building is shaking with “CM Punk” chants. Lesnar grabs the microphone and says
unlike some people, he doesn’t make claims that he can’t back up. Last week, the
Undertaker attacked him because he believes that the man is scared to death of
him. There have been many a foe that have tried to conquer The Streak, and they
have failed to do so. Shawn Michaels, Triple H, and their baby boy CM Punk are
failures. At WrestleMania XXX, he, Brock Lesnar, will conquer The Streak!
Lesnar’s music hits, and he leaves with Paul Heyman.
As they go up the ramp, Mark Henry’s music hits, and he comes out to the stage
to block them. Lesnar welcomes the fight. Lesnar jumps off the steps, and Henry
swats him down. Lesnar quickly comes back by reversing a whip into the steel
steps. Lesnar picks up the steps and cracks them off the skull of Henry. Lesnar
rips the top off the commentary table and breaks all the monitors. It appears a
cameraman may have been hit by one of the flying monitors. Lesnar then hoists
Henry up and gives him an F-5 through the table! Lesnar and Heyman stand tall
over Henry as a “CM Punk” chant continues! Lesnar and Heyman then leave the
ringside area.

next.
-Commercial Break-
Two of the stars of the USA Network’s new show “Sirens” are shown at ringside.
Daniel Bryan again challenges Triple H to a match at WrestleMania XXX
Daniel Bryan comes out to an incredible reaction from the Chicago crowd. Bryan
stands in the center of the ring with a microphone, and they shower him with
“YES!” chants. Bryan says that is what he likes to hear. The people in Chicago
understand one thing: you have a voice. We have a voice, and tonight we are
going to hijack RAW! The crowd explodes with a “YES!” chant. Bryan says he is
not going to leave this ring until one of two things happens. A “CM Punk” chant
breaks out. Bryan will not leave this ring until Batista comes down to fight or
until Triple H comes down to answer his challenge. Last week, he challenged
Triple H to a match at WrestleMania, and he turned him down.
Triple H’s music hits, and he comes out to the stage smiling with his wife,
Stephanie McMahon. They get in the ring, and a massive “CM Punk” chant breaks
out. Stephanie says she admires Bryan’s tenacity. After all his losses,
especially at Elimination Chamber, she wouldn’t be out there trying to hijack
RAW. She’d be embarrassed. It’s hard to hear her as the boos are so loud. Bryan
ignores her, and he says Triple H can dodge it, but he won’t let it rest. For
the past six months, he’s been beaten and screwed over. Every time he gets an
opportunity at the title, out comes The Shield, a screwy referee, or Kane.
Triple H even Pedigreed him to keep him from the title. Still he stands here not
broken with the people behind him. A “YES!” chant breaks out. Bryan says he’s
stronger than ever. Bryan then suggests they fight at WrestleMania XXX.
Triple H says that isn’t going to happen before wondering what it is about
Bryan’s generation. Why can’t they accept their failures and inadequacies?
Triple H calls this the “Excuses Era” or the “Blame Era.” The people of this era
never say they aren’t good enough. They just blame everyone else by saying
“they” held them down or buried it. The reality is anybody that has ever failed
here is because they were not good enough. A massive “CM Punk” chant breaks out.
Triple H says that’s the reality. Bryan’s reality is that he’s a B+ player.
While that angers people, B+ is pretty damn good. It’s better than the fans. B+
is a good spot for Bryan. It’s going to take way more than a B+ player to get
him to lace up his boots at WrestleMania. An “asshole” chant breaks out, and
Triple H says that means it’s Bryan’s turn.
Bryan says the people can see through Triple H’s lies. That’s why they chant.
Another big “YES!” chant breaks out. Triple H comes out and says he does what is
best for business, but he doesn’t listen to the people. He doesn’t listen to the
YES! Movement and their desire to see people like him succeed. The only way they
will ever get Triple H to see that is if he beats the crap out of him at
WrestleMania. Every time Bryan suggests a fight at WrestleMania, the people
don’t like it.
Stephanie wonders why they’d listen to this sea of inadequacy. The people will
turn on you. The only people who won’t are herself and Triple H. It’s
intoxicating to hear the chants. She gets that. It goes to your head. It’s easy
to get wrapped up in that, but when you think about it, without her family,
Bryan would have nothing. 21 trucks pulled up to the arena to make this for
Bryan. The ring and television are for Bryan provided by her and her family.
Without them, he wouldn’t have his underdog persona. He wouldn’t have his
t-shirts. They made Daniel Bryan. The fans don’t like that at all.
Bryan says Stephanie’s delusions of self-importance and admirable. Bryan
suggests she put on Triple H’s trunks while Triple H wears her skirt. They can
then fight at WrestleMania while Triple H watches. Triple H says he’s 90% sure
Stephanie would whip Bryan’s ass. Triple H says it just isn’t going to happen.
Triple H says this isn’t his first rodeo. He’s not going to take the bait like
it’s grade school. The match isn’t going to happen. WrestleMania is the Showcase
of the Immortals. This, pointing at Bryan, as hard as it is to swallow, doesn’t
measure up. Triple H then orders Bryan to get out of his ring. Bryan says this
isn’t Triple H’s ring. Stephanie says it is their ring. Bryan says it is the WWE
Universe’s ring. A “YES!” chant breaks out. Triple H clarifies this for everyone
– everything in the arena, including the fans and Daniel Bryan, belong to them.
Triple H then orders him to get the hell out of his ring.
Bryan gets in Triple H’s face, and he tells him to make him. Stephanie then
calls out for Kane. Kane’s pyro explodes, and he comes out to the ring. Bryan
takes him out with a suicide dive, and he punches away at Kane. Stephanie then
orders security to come out. The referees run down, and Stephanie again calls
for security. Security pulls him off, and a “CM Punk” chant breaks out. They
block Bryan from the ring as Stephanie tells him to stay out.
Daniel Bryan will be back out later tonight to face Batista in a match. John
Cena will also address The Wyatt Family.
-Commercial Break-

over before talking about Daniel Bryan’s challenge to Triple H.
Aaron Paul, the host of the show, drives Dolph Ziggler into the ring in a Shelby
Mustang. They get a tremendous reception.
Alberto Del Rio vs. Dolph Ziggler w/ Aaron Paul
Aaron Paul is on commentary for the next match. Del Rio kicks Ziggler in the
knee and stomps him as soon as the bell rings. Del Rio flapjacks him before
taunting the fans with Ziggler’s taunt. Del Rio stomps him for a two count. Del
Rio punches Ziggler to the corner. Ziggler sidesteps him and hits a dropkick.
Ziggler hits some punches in the corner before hitting a neckbreaker. Del Rio
avoids a famouser and hits a tilt-a-whirl backbreaker for a near fall. Del Rio
waits for Ziggler to get up. Ziggler avoids a kick and hits a DDT for a near
fall. Ziggler picks him up, and Del Rio hits a double knee arm-breaker. Del Rio
kicks him in the face for a near fall. Aaron Paul stands on the table and taunts
Del Rio. Del Rio yells at him before going for a Cross Arm Breaker. Ziggler
twists out and hits the Zig-Zag for the win.

Jack Swagger vs. Big E
They circle the ring, and Cesaro attacks Big E from behind and gives him a
Neutralizer for the disqualification.
Winner by Disqualification: Big E
Match Rating: N/A
Jack Swagger gets in Cesaro’s face after that. Swagger shoves Cesaro, and he
looks at the crowd knowingly. Swagger says they are even. Cesaro says if he does
that one more time, there will be a problem. Swagger shoves him again, and
Cesaro gets him in position for the Cesaro Swing. Zeb Colter tells Cesaro not to
do it and to be a Real American. The fans are going nuts, and Colter tells him
not to listen to the fans. Colter says for the sake of the people, don’t do it.
Cesaro lets him go, and Colter tells him to help his brother up. Cesaro extends
his hand, and he helps Swagger up. Colter says they’ll put this behind them.
Colter tells them to hug it out. They don’t want to at first, but eventually
they do. There is still a lot of tension there. Colter then has everyone say,
“We the people!” Cesaro and Swagger never take their eyes off one another.
John Cena will address The Wyatt Family, next.
-Commercial Break-
Daniel Bryan will take on Kane tomorrow night on WWE Main Event live on the WWE
Network.
John Cena address The Wyatt Family’s attack on him
John Cena’s music hits, and he comes out to massive boos. Cena’s left leg is
heavily taped, and he is hobbling down to the ring. Cena stands in the ring as
the crowd loudly boos him. Cena smiles at them as a “CM Punk” chant breaks out.
Cena thanks them for the warm Chicago welcome. Last week, The Wyatt Family
injured him. The fans cheer that. Cena says under doctor’s orders, he will not
have a match tonight. The crowd cheers wildly and chants, “YES!” Cena says he’ll
take that as their way of saying, “Get well soon.”
Even though he’s not going to compete tonight, he wanted to come out here.
Another “CM Punk” chant breaks out. Cena says he’s out to hear the energy and
passion of an entire city. He doesn’t have a match tonight, but the Allstate
Arena has held a special place in his heart. He’s competed at WrestleMania here.
Brock Lesnar kicked the hell out of him in this arena. Not long ago, at Money in
the Bank, he had a special moment with a certain someone here. Cena says they’ve
been going at it for a while, and he hasn’t always seen eye to eye with Chicago,
but he respects the hell out of this city. Even though they may boo him out of
the arena, he always hears them and knows that they’re honest. He also knows
that they’re loud. He’s been listening to tonight. He’s heard about the
hijacking. The WWE Universe wants change. Cena says success in this company is
earned. Change will come, and it will go through him. The crowd boos this. To
any WWE Superstar, especially Mr. Wyatt, if he thinks he’s in the driver’s seat,
he’s dead wrong. His name is John Cena, and he’s given the last 12 years of his
life to this business. He’s doing the same thing he did in 2002 in this arena
when he debuted. He’s standing tall, right here.
The Wyatt Family’s video flashes, and the lights go out. Bray Wyatt appears on
the screen. Wyatt asks if Cena can feel the people. Cena reminds him of a
championship thoroughbred horse, one that’s been running for a long time. When
he wins, people cheer. One day, the horse starts to slow down. That is when
reality sets in. Now he finds himself not looking for his next finish line, he’s
