"Then. Now. Forever." The WWE video leads us into the show.
A video kicks off the show that showcases Seth Rollins giving his Authority cohorts gifts for helping him take out Brock Lesnar on the prior RAW. Rollins gave them brand new Apple Watches, Kane got a trip to Hawaii, and J&J Security got a new Cadillac.
Brock Lesnar's music hits, and he comes out to a massive pop alongside Paul Heyman. There is no ramp tonight. The crowd chants "Suplex City" as they stand in the ring. The crowd is absolutely buzzing right now. Heyman starts his spiel by saying, "Ladies and gentlemen, my name is Paul Heyman, and I am the advocate for the Nightmare of Suplex City Brock Lesnar!" Heyman says it's come to Lesnar's attention that Seth Rollins and his band of merry men think that his client is still in Tokyo, Japan, which goes to show that you can put a title on anybody, but at the end of the day, they're still some dumb schmuck, Justin Bieber wannabe can luck his way into the WWE Championship. Heyman wants to spell it out so even something like Seth Rollins can understand: "Seth Rollins, you're going to learn the hard way that Brock Lesnar is the Lord thy God hallowed be his name, and my client Brock Lesnar is not a god of love, he's not a god of family, he's not a god of charity, he's not a god of forgiveness. My client, Brock Lesnar, is the god of violent retribution!" That violent retribution will come at the expense of Seth Rollins and anyone who stands with him. Heyman assures the crowd that this is the sword that will pierce Rollins' shield.
Heyman wants to take a look at what's happened in history when his client took away The Streak from The Undertaker. The crowd boos this. Heyman tells them to not boo the advocate. When his client took The Streak away from The Undertaker, Lesnar didn't have any respect for Undertaker nor disrespect. There was a streak his client wanted to conquer, so he did. This one they'll cheer according to Heyman. When his client took John Cena to Suplex City, he didn't respect nor feel disrespect to him. The crowd did cheer loudly for that. Lesnar wanted the championship, so he conquered Cena and took what was rightfully his. When his client showed Roman Reigns at WrestleMania what a savage beating truly is, he didn't have respect nor disrespect for him. Lesnar wanted to conquer Reigns. Now Seth Rollins, not only does Lesnar not respect him, he harbors disrespect for him. Rollins has broken the eleventh commandment: Thou shalt not intentionally provoke The Beast, Brock Lesnar. Rollins didn't just provoke him once when he cashed in Money in the Bank at WrestleMania. Rollins didn't just provoke him twice the day after WrestleMania when he got out of his rematch, causing Lesnar to get pissed off and destroy everyone around him to get suspended. Now Rollins has intentionally provoked him three times when two weeks ago they all piled on The Beast. The Beast is still breathing, alive, and frothing at the mouth for revenge against Rollins. Heyman knows his job is to sell the crowd on the fact on July 19 in St. Louis at Battleground, his client will get his hands on the reigning, defending, undisputed champion in Seth Rollins and take the championship back. Heyman says the title match may take place in St. Louis, but the beatings and suplexes begin tonight! That beating and those suplexes will take place at the altar of The Beast in this cathedral of retribution, in the City Hall of Suplex City, also known as the Allstate Arena in Chicago, Illinois! The crowd is really eating this up.
Heyman says Seth Rollins will be here tonight. A loud "Suplex City" chant breaks out. Lesnar smiles about this. They take their time showing signs from the crowd. Heyman says his client isn't going anywhere this evening. Someone better tell the champ that waiting for him is the Beast of Battleground, Brock Lesnar! Lesnar's music plays, and they leave the ring.
The commentators talk about what just happened before talking about how Kane went to Hawaii. They then show some badly Photoshopped pictures of Kane in Hawaii. They then show a map of J&J Security's travels with their new Cadillac.
