“Then. Now. Forever.” The WWE video leads us into the show.
Dean Ambrose’s music hits, and the Lunatic Fringe makes his way to the ring. Tonight on RAW, we’ll see Shawn Michaels make an appearance. We’ll also see “Rowdy” Ronda Rousey take on Ruby Riott.
Charly Caruso is in the ring, and she asks if there is any truth to what Braun Strowman, Dolph Ziggler, and Drew McIntyre said about him being unhappy in The Shield. Ambrose says there is truth to it. Both Roman Reigns and Seth Rollins are champions, while he has nothing. Ambrose was a champion on his own. Come to think of it, Rollins replaced him with Jason Jordan pretty quickly. Caruso asks if that means he wants to leave The Shield. Ambrose says he’s thought about it like he’s thought about a lot of things. Maybe he’s already turned in his black outfit and ran Reigns’ car off the road. Ambrose says people are wondering when he’s going to snap. Maybe he’s waiting for the perfect time when no one is looking for him to slip the knife in their backs. Was that what she meant? Caruso says she actually meant this, and footage is shown from last week of Ambrose choosing to side with The Shield.
She asks what was going through his mind. Ambrose says she’s probably wondering why he chose to come back to RAW. Ambrose could be on Smackdown doing his own thing. Since he’s come back, he’s only cleaned up his brothers’ business. Maybe he’s tired and over The Shield. She can stop trying to understand. The world can stop trying to analyze what’s going on in his head. Maybe he should be judged by his actions. The Shield is not a business or a brand. It is a brotherhood. They will always ride into battle together.
Ambrose’s music hits, and he goes to leave, but Baron Corbin’s music hits. The Acting General Manager of RAW makes his way out to the stage to boos from the crowd. Corbin sarcastically says that was a good speech about brotherhood, but he feels like something is gnawing at his lunatic brain. Ambrose asks if he’s also a therapist aside from being the world’s largest substitute teacher. Maybe he’s jealous he can’t put The Shield away despite weeks of trying. Corbin says they are tough and his team came up short, but he’s still standing. Corbin is going to give Ambrose a chance to be judged on his actions. Corbin is giving him three choices: 1.) face Seth Rollins for the WWE Intercontinental Championship, 2.) face Roman Reigns for the WWE Universal Championship, or 3.) go one-on-one with Braun Strowman. The crowd is buzzing. Will Dean pick his brothers or his career? Ambrose says if Corbin thinks he’s going to come out, dangle a carrot, and have him do a song and dance, he’s got another thing coming. Ambrose says he’ll go for option four: taking on Baron Corbin right now. Corbin says he’ll choose for him… Ambrose will face Braun Strowman right now.
Braun Strowman makes his entrance. This match starts, next.
-Commercial Break-
The bell rings, and Ambrose quickly dropkicks Strowman in the knee. Strowman quickly swats him down. Strowman hits the ropes and hits a running stomp to the chest. Strowman whips him hard into the corner and applies a neck vice. Ambrose tries to fight up, but Strowman clubs him down. Strowman clubs him in the chest before running back and charging with an avalanche. Strowman then goes back to the neck vice. Strowman cinches it in while the crowd chants, “Dean.” Ambrose tries to fight out, but Strowman slams him down. Strowman shouts that The Shield will never help him before slapping him in the face. Ambrose angrily holds his face in the corner. Strowman approaches him, so Ambrose slaps him in the face. Strowman angrily throws him across the ring before choking him on the bottom rope. Strowman tries for a chokeslam, but Ambrose counters into a guillotine choke. Strowman powers out with a back body drop, but Ambrose holds on and chop blocks the knee. Ambrose puts him in the corner and forearms him. Strowman quickly knocks him down and stomps the back.
-Commercial Break-
We come back from the break to see Ambrose fight up from a neck vice, but Strowman simply puts him on the top rope. Ambrose fights back, but Strowman puts him on his shoulder. The referee is nearly wiped out. Ambrose thumbs him in the eyes and tries for Dirty Deeds, but Strowman shoves him away. Strowman charges, but Ambrose pulls the top rope down to get him out of the ring. Strowman angrily gets back in the ring, but Ambrose sidesteps an avalanche. Ambrose dropkicks him into the ropes, ducks a clothesline, and gets grabbed by Strowman, who clubs Ambrose in the chest to leave him flat in the center of the ring. Ambrose slides out of a Running Powerslam and hits Dirty Deeds for a near fall.
Strowman rolls out of the ring to recover, so Ambrose hits him with a suicide dive. Ambrose punches him a few times. Strowman charges, but Ambrose sidesteps him to send him into the ring steps. Strowman gets in the ring looking woozy. Ambrose gets in the ring, and Strowman hits him with a Running Powerslam. Both men are down. Ambrose rolls under the bottom rope to get out of the ring. Strowman slowly gets up, but Ambrose is on the floor. Strowman goes outside, sizes up Ambrose, and hits a running shoulder block. Strowman throws him into the barricade before getting him in the ring. Strowman hits an emphatic Running Powerslam before lifting him for a second one…
…but Roman Reigns’ music hits. The WWE Universal Champion makes his way to the ring to boos from the crowd. Reigns gets on the apron and looks at Strowman. Reigns gets in the ring and hits a Superman Punch. The referee calls for the bell.
Strowman tries to grab Reigns, but Reigns punches out and boots him back. Seth Rollins runs down and hits Strowman with a springboard flying knee. Reigns and Rollins then knock Strowman out of the ring. Strowman is announced as the winner, and Corey Graves says Ambrose’s brothers cost him a share of the winner’s purse. Dolph Ziggler and Drew McIntyre join Strowman on stage. Baron Corbin quickly comes out and says this is not The Shield’s show. Later tonight, Seth Rollins will take on Drew McIntyre. As for Roman Reigns, he’ll face Dolph Ziggler right now.
-Commercial Break-
Dean Ambrose is in the trainer’s room icing his shoulder when Seth Rollins walks in. Ambrose angrily throws the ice pack. Rollins says it’s the war, not the battle. Reigns came out when he had to. Ambrose says, “You know what’s funny? I could be Intercontinental Champion right now.” Ambrose then walks off.
Roman Reigns and Dolph Ziggler are in the ring for their match. The referee holds up the WWE Universal Championship, signifying the title is on the line for this bout. Baron Corbin says Reigns doesn’t decide when he puts the title on the line. This match is non-title, as is Seth Rollins’ match. Reigns isn’t putting that title on the line until he goes to Saudi Arabia to face Braun Strowman and Brock Lesnar at Crown Jewel.
The bell rings, and Ziggler quickly attacks Reigns and rakes his eyes on the ropes. Reigns quickly throws him into the corner and punches him down. Ziggler quickly snaps Reigns off the top rope and dropkicks him down for a two count. Ziggler then applies a chin lock. Reigns tries to fight up, but Ziggler takes him down and drops an elbow. Reigns tries to fight back, but Ziggler sidesteps him to send him shoulder-first into the ring post. Ziggler goes outside to grab him, but Reigns punches him. Ziggler then stuns him with a spike DDT on the floor! Ziggler gets in the ring to break the count. Ziggler goes outside, gets Reigns in the ring, and hits a famouser for a near fall.
-Commercial Break-
We come back from the break to see Ziggler applying a chin lock to Reigns. Reigns fights up and punches out. Ziggler quickly ducks a right hand and jumps on Reigns’ back with a sleeper hold. Ziggler cinches it in, and Reigns seems to be fading away. Ziggler digs his fingers into Reigns’ eyes. Reigns then gets a burst of energy and backs him into the corner. Reigns hits a snapmare and pulls himself up. Reigns connects with a back elbow before hitting a pair of clotheslines. Reigns hits a leaping clothesline and gets fired up. Reigns hits Ziggler with ten clubbing blows in the corner before hitting the ropes and drilling him with a big boot. Reigns looks at Ziggler writhing on the mat and signals for a Superman Punch. Ziggler sidesteps it and rolls him up with a handful of tights for a near fall. Reigns quickly blocks a superkick and goes for a Samoan Drop, but Ziggler rakes the eyes and hits a Zig-Zag for a near fall.
Ziggler takes a few moments to get up before signaling for a superkick. Reigns counters it with a Superman Punch for a near fall. Reigns sets up for a spear, but Ziggler leap frogs him and rolls him up for a near fall. Reigns quickly head-butts him and hits a spear for the win.
The Bella Twins are talking with Natalya when “Rowdy” Ronda Rousey comes up warming up. She’ll face Ruby Riott, next.
-Commercial Break-
The Bella Twins are at ringside for Rousey. Sarah Logan and Liv Morgan (with pink hair) are at ringside for Riott.
The bell rings, and they circle the ring. Riott looks nervous to approach Rousey. They lock up, and Rousey quickly hits some judo arm drags on her. Riott quickly gets out of the ring to recover. Rousey invites her back in the ring and talks some trash. Riott cautiously gets in the ring before kneeing her in the ribs. Rousey quickly takes her down, and Riott rolls out of the ring. Rousey gets her in the ring, but Riott kicks her in the ribs coming back in. Riott pulls her headfirst into the ring post before shoving her into the barricade. Riott gets her in the ring and works away at her before tossing her out of the ring. The Riott Squad goes to blindside Rousey, but the referee admonishes them. Riott knocks Rousey off the apron and gets her in the ring for a two count. Riott digs her knee into Rousey’s neck before tying her up in the ropes and yanking on her ponytail. Riott fishhooks the mouth and rips at it. Riott then viciously forearms her in the face for a two count. The referee admonishes The Riott Squad again while Riott pulls Rousey down by the hair to pick up a two count. Riott slams her down again for a two count. Riott is getting frustrated. Riott boots her in the face a few times. A “Ronda Rousey” chant picks up. Rousey then counters a Riott Kick and hits a modified exploder suplex.
Rousey rips her “Rowdy” tank-top off and jabs away at Riott before hitting a nasty gutwrench suplex. Rousey boots Sarah Logan at ringside, and Riott rolls her up for a near fall. Rousey quickly comes back with a snap Angle Slam before applying her trademark arm bar for the win.

Bobby Roode makes his way to the ring with Chad Gable. Roode will take on Konnor, next.
-Commercial Break-
A pretaped promo is shown of Bobby Roode talking about how glorious it’ll be to defeat Konnor. Chad Gable does Roode’s “Glorious” for him. Konnor is also shown in a pretaped promo. Konnor says the mentor will fall like the student.
The bell rings, and Roode quickly kicks Konnor a few times. Roode ducks a right hand from Konnor and chops him. Roode hits a low dropkick to the knee and tries for a Glorious DDT, but Konnor powers him to the corner. Roode leaps over him and hits the ropes, but Konnor avalanches him down. Konnor chokes him in the corner and stomps away at him. Konnor drops an elbow for a two count. Konnor rips at Roode’s face before covering for another two count. Konnor then applies a chin lock. Roode fights up, but Konnor takes him down. Konnor goes for an elbow drop, but Roode moves. Roode then hits a drop-toe-hold into the turnbuckle. Roode comes off the top rope with a diving clothesline before chopping the chest. Konnor reverses a whip, and Roode hits a running forearm to counter. Roode attacks him in the corner, but Konnor soon turns him around. Roode boots him back and hits a blockbuster.
Roode gets fired up. Gable gets on the steps, and Viktor shoves him off. Roode clotheslines Viktor on the apron. Konnor attacks Roode from behind and hits a Dominator for the win.
A Moment of Bliss: Alexa Bliss talks about heroes and compares herself with Nelson Mandela. She idolized Trish Stratus growing up and will face her at Evolution. When she was a 7-year old goddess, she met Trish Stratus for the first time. Bliss asked her to sign her autograph book, and Stratus burped in her face and said the autograph would cost $50. Stratus ripped the book and stomped her foot. When it comes to meeting your heroes, Stratusfaction is not guaranteed.
The B-Team make their entrance. They’ll be in action, next.
-Commercial Break-
We join this match in progress. Scott Dawson works over Curtis Axel and applies an overhead wristlock. Axel tries to fight out, but Dawson takes him back down. Axel nearly fights out, so Dash Wilder tags in and works on the arm. Axel tries to fight out, but Wilder keeps the arm lock applied. Axel then gets to his feet and drives him face-first into the turnbuckle.
Bo Dallas and Dawson are tagged in. Dallas runs wild on Dawson and connects with a back elbow. Wilder distracts Dallas, and Dawson hits a spinebuster for a near fall. Wilder tags in. They go for the Rocket Launcher, but Dallas gets his knees up. Axel pulls Dawson out of the ring while Dallas pins Wilder.
AOP attacks The B-Team while the celebrate on the ramp. Akam viciously sends Dallas into the LED apron. They get The B-Team in the ring and hit the Super Collider. Drake Maverick joins them in the ring and raises their arms.
Dean Ambrose is looking conflicted backstage when Roman Reigns walks up to him. Reigns says they’re not sure if he’s kidding, unlike last week. Reigns asks him if he’s ok. Ambrose says he’s fine, but he had Braun Strowman tonight. He could have put him away. Reigns says he could have, but they need him in Australia. Ambrose says, “If I wasn’t such a nice guy, I’d be Universal Champion right now.” Ambrose walks off.
Seth Rollins will face Drew McIntyre later tonight. We’ll also hear from Shawn Michaels.

Baron Corbin says AOP is doing a heck of a job and shakes hands with them. Drake Maverick then excitedly slaps them both in the chest.
A video package plays for WWE’s fundraising efforts for Susan G. Komen. Charly Caruso introduces some special guests that agree that breast cancer is unacceptable. Dana Warrior is shown at ringside along with researcher Dr. Candice Grzelak, fundraiser Patty Bulger, and a 10-year breast cancer survivor, Jennifer Teeler. The crowd gives them a nice ovation. Dolph Ziggler is talking with Drew McIntyre and Braun Strowman about how he feels that this will be the last night of The Shield. Ziggler feels Ambrose is going to turn. Strowman says Ambrose is a tough bastard, even though he destroyed him. If Ambrose isn’t facing him, he’s winning. They need that around here. Strowman tells McIntyre that he has to win tonight. No more weak links, and Strowman looks at Ziggler. They then walk off on him.
Seth Rollins makes his entrance. He’ll face Drew McIntyre, next.
-Commercial Break-
The bell rings, and they circle the ring before locking up. McIntyre powers him to the corner and gives a clean break. They lock up, and McIntyre powers him to the corner again before slapping him in the face and talking some trash. Rollins turns him around and punches away at him. Rollins continues punching him before the referee steps between him. Rollins slingshots over McIntyre and takes him down before clotheslining him out of the ring. Rollins then hits a suicide dive. Rollins bounces him off the apron and sends him into the barricade. Rollins gets him in the ring, but McIntyre avoids a springboard. Rollins sidesteps a big boot and chops the chest. McIntyre reverses a whip and counters a slingshot with a kick to the ribs for a two count. Rollins rolls to the apron to recover. McIntyre knocks him back into the ring and applies an arm bar. Rollins fights up, but McIntyre takes him down and keeps the arm bar applied. Rollins fights up and flips through a back suplex attempt. Rollins knocks him to the apron. Rollins gets on the apron and tries for a powerbomb attempt, but McIntyre shoves him back-first into the ring post. McIntyre repositions the steps and brings Rollins to the top. McIntyre then hits a sidewalk slam off the steps onto the apron.
-Commercial Break-
We come back from the break to see Rollins hit a Sling Blade. Rollins boots him back and hits a blockbuster for a two count. McIntyre puts him on the apron, but Rollins comes back with an enzuigiri. Rollins springboards off the top rope and hits a clothesline for a near fall. Baron Corbin is seen watching backstage. Rollins tries for a turnbuckle powerbomb, but McIntyre counters out. Rollins lands on his feet, but McIntyre lifts him. Rollins counters an inverted Alabama Slam into a roll-up for a two count. McIntyre avoids a Stomp and chops him. Rollins counters a short-arm clothesline into a falcon arrow for a near fall.
Rollins goes to the top rope, but McIntyre crotches him up there. McIntyre chops the chest and climbs to the second rope. Rollins slides off and hits a turnbuckle powerbomb! Rollins follows up with a superkick and signals for the Stomp. Dolph Ziggler’s music hits, and he runs down to the ring. Ziggler gets out before making contact with Rollins. McIntyre follows up with a Claymore Kick for the win.
Ziggler and McIntyre double-team Rollins until Roman Reigns runs down for the save. Braun Strowman’s music hits, and Ziggler and McIntyre overtake Reigns. Dean Ambrose then runs down with an axe handle and attacks Strowman, McIntyre, and Ziggler. Strowman soon runs him over with a shoulder block and gets him in the ring. Rollins attacks Strowman from behind, but he’s quickly taken out with a superkick from Ziggler. Ambrose tries to fight back, but he’s triple-teamed down. Ziggler and McIntyre hit Ambrose with a Zig-Zag/Claymore Kick combo. They then send Reigns into Strowman for a Running Powerslam. Strowman, Ziggler, and McIntyre stand over The Shield while their music plays. They then do The Shield’s fist bump pose.

Elias is tuning his guitar backstage when Kevin Owens walks up to him. They’re embarrassing a stagehand and throw cashews in his face.

“Ladies and gentlemen… Elias… and Kevin Owens.”
Elias is seated on a stool next to Kevin Owens. Elias greets the crowd and plays a riff while Owens listens on intently. Elias has one question for everyone: Who wants to walk with Elias? Owens raises his hand. Elias says only one man will walk with him tonight: Kevin Owens. Owens says he’ll gladly walk with Elias in Australia when they face Bobby Lashley and John Cena on Saturday. They’re both a couple of great guys. What doesn’t make sense is John Cena teaming with Bobby Lashley. Elias says it makes about as much sense as a basketball team in Seattle. LOUD boos for that. Sustained boos at that. They just sit there admiring the noise. Elias says Oklahoma City is a place he gets. A team here in Seattle just doesn’t make sense. Owens says he’s clearly upset the crowd, but sports aren’t his thing. Something else that isn’t his thing is John Cena. The boos are just continuing to pour down on them. They’re really loud.
Owens says John Cena is living up to his catchphrase since they haven’t seen him in some time. Elias says the last time he saw Cena was at WrestleMania when he ruined his first WrestleMania concert. Owens says Cena ruins everything, just like Seattle fans. The boos just keep going so loud. They turn the lights on so you can see the crowd going nuts. Elias and Owens keep trying to go on with their promo, but the boos are drowning them out. Owens says Cena’s ego is as large as the people of Seattle’s egos. Elias says Cena needs to be in the ring with men like them, the same way he needs Seattle to shut their mouths. It keeps Cena alive and relevant. Owens says Cena needs to beat the best, and they’re the best that Monday Night RAW has to offer.
Lio Rush comes out, and the noise drops. Rush says John Cena is a legend. They’re right to recognize the importance of the match on Saturday. Rush warns Owens not to overlook the match tonight. If he does, he’ll look as foolish as Rush has made him look the past two weeks. Rush then introduces Bobby Lashley. This match is next.
Commercial Break-
They lock up, and Lashley immediately powers him down. Owens quickly leaves the ring to rethink his strategy. Owens gets in the ring and applies a waistlock. Lashley quickly turns it and takes him down twice. Owens quickly grabs the top rope and kicks him back. Owens hits a headlock takeover. Lashley fights up and shoulder blocks Owens out of the ring. Owens stands at ringside and talks strategy with Elias. Owens gets in the ring, but Lashley hits him with a swinging neckbreaker. Lashley bounces him off the top turnbuckle of three corners, but Owens blocks the fourth. Lashley wildly punches him down before sending him into the ropes, but he lowers his head and eats a kick. Lashley quickly comes back with a scoop powerslam before lifting him. Owens slides off and sidesteps him to send him into the ring post shoulder-first. Owens then grabs him and sends him into the ring post shoulder-first again.
-Commercial Break-
We come back from the break to see Owens send Lashley into the ring steps before getting him in the ring for a senton splash for a near fall. Owens then applies a wristlock. Lashley tries to fight up, but Owens takes him down. Lashley fights up and punches out, but Owens stuns him with a right hand. Owens hits the ropes, but Lashley leapfrogs him before hitting a clothesline. Owens sidesteps him, but Lashley turns him inside out with another clothesline. Owens quickly boots him back, but Lashley quickly comes back with a reverse STO. Lashley hits some running attacks in the corner before trying for a suplex, but he’s too hurt. Owens kicks him and hits the ropes, but Lashley takes him out with a big spinebuster.
At ringside, Lio Rush avoids an attack by Elias. Elias finally grabs him and applies a full nelson. Lashley is distracted by this, so Owens rolls him up for the win.
Lashley attacks both men, but he’s soon overwhelmed. Rush comes off the top rope, but Elias swats him out of mid-air. Owens then hits Lashley with a Pop-up Powerbomb.
Later tonight, we’ll hear from Shawn Michaels. Coming up next, Bayley takes on Alicia Fox.
-Commercial Break-
They lock up, and Fox powers her to the corner. Bayley goes for ten punches, but Fox shoves her off, snaps her off the top rope, and takes her down for a two count. Fox applies a chin lock, but Bayley soon elbows her down. Bayley comes back with a forearm to the face and connects with a back elbow off the second rope for a two count. Fox takes her down and hits a northern lights suplex for a two count. Fox then applies a chin lock. Bayley fights back and takes her down. Bayley hits a pair of clotheslines and snaps her off the second rope. Fox comes back with a roll-up, but winds up rolling through for a dropkick. Bayley fights back and hits the ropes, but Jinder Mahal grabs the leg. Finn Balor takes him out with a Sling Blade on the floor. Bayley then hits Fox with a Bayley-To-Belly for the win.
Shawn Michaels will be out next.

Shawn Michaels makes his entrance to a nice ovation. The WWE Hall of Famer poses in the ring and listens to an “HBK” chant. Michaels says Seattle makes it feel good to come home again. You have to imagine what it’s like going into something thinking how intense and intimidating the event will be before it even begins. It could be sadness, anxiousness, or joy. Michaels has felt it with everyone else. Now it’s time. It’s the last time ever. This Saturday in Melbourne, Australia at the Super Show-Down, The Undertaker vs. Triple H for the Last Time Ever will happen. When it was announced a few months back, he pried open his wallet because he’s notoriously cheap, and bought a first class ticket to witness it as a fan. Michaels wanted to be an innocent bystander… until a couple of weeks ago. Then it got personal. The Undertaker, through no fault of his own, made this personal a long time ago with Triple H. Then he put him in a position where he had to make a choice. Undertaker wanted to know who Michaels stood behind. Michaels has the utmost respect for The Undertaker, but any day of the week and twice on Sunday he’d pick his best friend over anybody on God’s green earth. That upset The Undertaker. Undertaker made this personal. Undertaker has Kane in his corner, so Triple H has his brother in his corner. Michaels warns Kane about crowding the ring. If he does, he’ll be brushed back with some Sweet Chin Music.
Kane’s music hits, and the Mayor of Knoxville County appears behind Michaels in the ring. Michaels turns around, and Kane uppercuts him down.
The bell tolls, and Undertaker appears standing in the ring next to Kane! The crowd is going crazy. Undertaker stands over Michaels and signals for the end. Undertaker lifts him up for a Tombstone Piledriver, but Triple H’s music hits! Triple H comes down and punches away at Undertaker. Kane grabs Triple H, but he punches him back. Triple H goes back to punching Undertaker, but Kane grabs him by the throat. Triple H attacks, so Undertaker grabs him. Undertaker hits a Chokeslam on Triple H while Kane hits one on Shawn Michaels (who has a shaved head!). Undertaker and Kane stand tall in the ring before stopping when Triple H comes to. Undertaker then lays him out with a Tombstone Piledriver! Undertaker and Kane then walk up the ramp and pose.
