Lord Alfred Hayes is shown from last week interviewing Shawn Michaels when he was attacked by Mr. Perfect.  Hayes is live tonight at the same spot talking about who he saw enter the arena.

The Smoking Gunns vs. Tony Vajda and Glen Ruth
The Gunns dominate the match.   Billy does a leg drop on Ruth's arm.  Then Bart does one.  A Powerslam and a Reverse Piledriver by Bart give the Smoking Gunns the win in this easy match.

Vince McMahon interviews the Intercontinental Champion Shawn Michaels in the ring.  Shawn Michaels says that he will defend the championship against anyone, anywhere at any time.  Someone comes in the ring in disguise; it is Marty Jannetty.  McMahon suggests they fight tonight, but Michaels is apprehensive. 

Razor Ramon vs. The Kid
Razor does a Razor's Edge on the Kid.  The Kid does a Moonsault and gets the quick pin.  Ramon lost this match against the jobber!  Ramon is irate. 

Tatanka vs. Scott Taylor
Tatanka dominates the match.  Tatanka does a few Clotheslines and a Papoose to Go.  This gives him the easy win. 

Kamala vs. Yokozuna with Mr. Fuji
Kamala almost knocks Yokozuna down.  Yokozuna did a Leg Drop on Kamala.  Fuji distracts Kamala, letting Yokozuna to Superkick him.  A Bonzai Drop gives Yokozuna the win.

Shawn Michaels (WWF Intercontinental Champion) vs. Marty Jannetty
The match starts off with lots of quick moves and actions.  The crowd chants for "Marty."  Shawn grabs his belt and heads to the backstage, but Mr. Perfect comes out.  Michaels goes back to the ring.  Several unsuccessful pin attempts by Jannetty.  Perfect throws a towel at Michaels and Jannetty is able to pin him.  He wins the Intercontinental Championship.
