Dean Malenko started his wrestling career off in Extreme Championship Wrestling.  He won the TV title there and shortly after he entered into World Championship Wrestling.

WCW is where he had his most amount of fame.  He won the Cruiserweight Championship on several occasions and has also won the Tag Team Title.  He was a part of the Revolution with Saturn and Shane Douglas before he left.

January 31, 2000 marks the date that Malenko, along with Saturn, Chris Benoit, and Eddy Guerrero left WCW and entered the World Wrestling Federation, where he was last seen.  He has been Light Heavyweight Champion on several occasions. He has since retired from active wrestling in the WWE and has more of a backstage role, training some of the wrestlers.
