Captain Lou Albano is a wrestling manager.  He is best known for over a dozen tag teams winning championship gold.  His fashion sense will never be duplicated:  He would often wear a Hawaiian shirt half buttoned, a long beard and several rubber bands attached to his face.  He was great at giving interviews that would incite the crowd and his wrestlers' opponents.

Aside from wrestling he appeared alongside Cyndi Lauper in her music videos and on MTV in the early 1980's.  He also starred in several movies including "Body Slam" and also played Mario on the TV show "The Super Mario Brothers Super Show."

In 1999, he became the commissioner for "Heroes of Wrestling," a federation that had one pay-per-view only.  He was a guest at WrestleMania XIII.  He is featured in the 2006 WWE release "The World's Greatest Managers" and he wrote the book "The Complete Idiot's Guide to Professional Wrestling."
