Curt Hennig is the son of legendary wrestler Larry "The Axe" Hennig. Curt is known for wrestling in both WWF/E as Mr. Perfect and in WCW as Curt Hennig. He also wrestled independently before and after his stints in WWE/WCW. In WWE his best feuds were with Bret Hart, The Texas Tornado, Shawn Michaels and Lex Luger. In WCW he had as much success, winning the US Championship. He also joined nWo, and was part of the West Texas Rednecks. Curt was last seen on TV with NWA-TNA.

He is one of the great wrestlers that is known for his wrestling ability above all. He will surely be missed.

Curt Hennig was PWI's 1987 Most Improved Wrestler of the Year. In 1997 he was first runner up for Comeback Wrestler of the Year (losing to Bret Hart).
