SUMMERSLAM KICKOFF SHOW:
The bell rings, and Gulak quickly dropkicks Lorcan into the corner. Gulak applies a side headlock, but Lorcan fights out. Gulak takes him down with an arm bar, but Lorcan gets up. They’re quickly at a stalemate. They circle the ring and lock up. Gulak applies a waistlock, but Lorcan picks the leg and takes him down. Lorcan turns him around and goes for a front facelock, but Gulak gets out and applies a hammerlock. Gulak pulls the arm and pins him for a two count. Gulak applies an arm bar, but Lorcan backs him to the corner. Lorcan chops the chest a few times and whips him to the opposite corner for a corner clothesline. Gulak quickly reverses another whip and clotheslines him in the corner. Gulak then scoop slams him into the ropes and nearly spikes him on his head for a two count.
They go to commercial to showcase a video promo for Brock Lesnar vs. Seth Rollins tonight. Back from the “break,” Gulak has Lorcan down and applies a chin lock. Lorcan fights up and twists out before chopping him. Lorcan uppercuts him, but he has a whip reversed. Lorcan quickly comes back with a flipping neckbreaker for a two count. Gulak gets out of the ring to recover, but Lorcan follows him out and chops the chest. Lorcan gets him in the ring, but Gulak surprises him with the Gu-Lock. Lorcan gets a foot on the bottom rope. Lorcan goes for a Half and Half, but Gulak gets out. Gulak elbows him back, and they take each other out with dual clotheslines. They both get to their feet and start throwing stiff punches. Gulak wildly punches him down before applying the Gu-Lock. Lorcan flips out and pins Gulak for a near fall. Lorcan grabs the face of Gulak and slaps him in the face a few times. Lorcan hits some running uppercuts and goes for a Half and Half, but Gulak fights out. Gulak then takes him down with a running back elbow. Lorcan drags him in, but Gulak pulls the ring apron in as well. While the referee is fixing the apron, Gulak punches him in the throat. Gulak hits the Cyclone Crash for the win.
The bell rings, and Murphy immediately knees him in the face for a near fall. Murphy sends him face-first into the turnbuckle and stomps him down. Murphy hits a snapmare and kicks him in the spine for another two count. Murphy knees him in the back and kicks him in the head for another two count. Murphy applies a chin lock. Crews fights up, they hit the ropes, and wipe each other out with stereo running cross-bodies. They get to their feet, and Crews hits a step-up enzuigiri. Crews punches away at him, avoids a kick, and clotheslines him. Crews kips up, hits an enzuigiri, and tries for an Olympic Slam, but Murphy gets out. Murphy knocks him back and goes to the second rope, but Crews catches him and hits a fall-away slam before hitting a standing moonsault for a near fall. Crews presses him up, but Murphy gets out. Crews goes to the second rope, but Murphy tucks his head and superkicks him. Murphy follows up with a powerbomb for a near fall. Crews fights back and rolls him up for a near fall. Crews gets him out of the ring and goes for a moonsault off the apron, but Murphy moves. Murphy then sends him into the steel ring steps before getting in the ring and hitting a summersault plancha. Murphy puts Crews in the ring, and Rowan attacks Murphy for the disqualification.
Rowan punches Murphy around ringside and throws him. Rowan waits for him to get to his feet and hits a running cross-body on the floor. Rowan is furious that Murphy pointed the finger at him on Smackdown Live as the attacker of Roman Reigns. Rowan drags him to the ring post and powerbombs him into it! Rowan screams at Murphy to keep his name out of his mouth. Daniel Bryan is seen watching backstage emotionless.
Elias says it’s the biggest party of the summer, so he’s going to sing a song. Elias tells them to silence their cellphones, hold the applause, and shut their mouths. Elias sings that he’s been here for a week and wants to leave in a hearse. Elias says he knows he’s in Toronto because he doesn’t see a Stanley Cup. No musician can match his fame. He knows he’s in Toronto because this arena is sold out, the opposite of a Blue Jays game. Elias says he cannot wait to join his friend Kawhi Leonard in LA.
EDGE’S MUSIC HITS TO A HUGE OVATION! Edge gets in the ring and soaks up the applause. The crowd chants his name. Edge looks at Elias… and delivers a SPEAR! Edge celebrates and leaves the ring.
Alexa Bliss will start against Billie Kay. They trade side headlocks, and Kay takes her down. Bliss quickly sweeps the leg and smiles. Bliss, who has Buzz Lightyear inspired gear, strikes his pose. Peyton Royce tags in, but she’s taken down. Nikki Cross tags in and hits Royce with a neckbreaker. Cross goes to the top rope and hits a cross-body block for a two count. Royce soon rolls her up, but Cross kicks out. Kay tags in and snaps Cross off the top rope. Royce hits a sloppy spin kick, and Kay picks up a two count. Kay punches Cross for another two count. Royce tags in and applies a chin lock. Cross fights up, but Royce takes her down. Kay tags in and applies a chin lock. Cross fights up, but Kay suplexes her for a near fall. The IIconics do their shrill scream. Royce tags in and clubs Cross. Royce stomps her, but Cross comes back with a jawbreaker. Royce keeps her from tagging Bliss, and they take each other out with stereo flying hair pulls.
Bliss and Kay are tagged in. Bliss hits a pair clotheslines and a takedown that Kay takes horribly. Bliss hits the Insult to Injury and knocks Royce off the apron. Kay big boots Bliss, but Cross breaks up the pin. Royce tags in. Bliss fights off The IIconics, but Royce hits her with a Gory neckbreaker for a near fall. Royce throws a tantrum, so Bliss punches her in the face. Cross pulls Kay off the apron, who can’t even seem to take that bump correctly. Bliss goes to the top rope and hits Twisted Bliss for the win.
SUMMERSLAM EVENT:
“Then. Now. Forever.” The WWE video leads us into the show.
A video plays hyping up the big matches on tonight’s 32nd edition of SummerSlam.
We go into the arena to see some pyrotechnics. They’re doing some augmented reality graphics to hype up the show.

Natalya made her entrance with the Canadian flag draped over her shoulders.
The crowd starts chanting, “Becky” as they go face-to-face. The bell rings, and they circle the ring. Lynch talks a little trash and slaps Natalya in the face. Natalya responds with a slap to the face. Lynch tackles her to the corner and punches away at her before stomping her. The crowd starts to boo her. Natalya punches Lynch back and hits a discus clothesline. Natalya stomps Lynch and charges, but Lynch sidesteps her. Lynch punches Natalya and hits a Bexploder. Lynch hits a textbook suplex and goes for the Dis-Arm-Her, but Natalya blocks it. Lynch counters into a triangle choke attempt, but Natalya lifts her up a little and slams her. Lynch keeps the triangle choke applied. Natalya uses the ropes to pull her up. The commentators state that there are no disqualifications so not breaking on the ropes doesn’t matter. Lynch hits a head-scissor into another submission attempt. Natalya fights out and pulls her out of the ring. Natalya does a swing into the barricade and starts attacking the leg. Natalya gets Lynch in the ring and kicks away at the leg. Natalya works over the leg and hits a snap suplex into the ropes. Natalya takes her down and chokes her on the ropes. Lynch starts to fight back and punches and knees Natalya. Lynch limps to the corner, but Natalya drops her on the apron. Natalya blocks a kick and hits a dragon screw on the ropes. Natalya sends her shoulder-first into the ring post and goes to the second rope to apply a Sharpshooter on the turnbuckles! Apparently if Lynch taps out here, despite being in the ropes, Natalya will win. Natalya eventually lets go, and Lynch falls to the floor.
Lynch quickly pulls Natalya into the commentary table before sending her shoulder-first into the steel steps. Lynch gets her in the ring and goes to the top rope, but Natalya cuts her off and hits a superplex. Both women are down. Natalya soon gets to her feet, but Lynch kicks her away. Natalya boots her in the face, steps on her, and goes for a low dropkick, but Lynch sweeps the legs. Lynch then applies Natalya’s Sharpshooter to her! The crowd is booing. Natalya screams in pain. Natalya crawls to the corner and rolls to whiplash Lynch into the turnbuckles.
he crowd chants, “This is awesome!” Lynch goes for a springboard kick, but Natalya viciously pulls her off the ropes. Natalya then applies Lynch’s Dis-Arm-Her! Lynch rolls through, but Natalya keeps it applied. Lynch fights out, but Natalya transitions into the Sharpshooter! The crowd is on their feet. Lynch crawls to the bottom rope, but Natalya doesn’t have to let go. Lynch drags herself half out of the ring. Natalya drags her back in and goes for another Sharpshooter, but Lynch takes her down and applies the Dis-Arm-Her! Lynch torques the arm at a nasty angle. Natalya screams in pain and eventually taps out.
Kayla Braxton is backstage with WWE Hall of Famer Trish Stratus. Stratus says Charlotte Flair has no clue how lucky she is someone like her paved the way. Stratus will prove that she is the Queen of Queens.
Video Package: Goldberg vs. Dolph Ziggler
Dolph Ziggler makes his entrance. Ziggler says he is the best thing to ever happen to WWE. Ziggler says he is the best thing to ever happen to pro wrestling. We’ve all seen it before: legends come and legends go, but old DZ is always here stealing the damn show. Ziggler says we all know Goldberg doesn’t tend to show up for matches. We also know that Goldberg fears Ziggler.
Goldberg’s music cuts him off, and he does his legendary entrance to LOUD chants of his name. Goldberg has all his pyro firing tonight.
The bell rings, and the crowd is LOUDLY chanting “Goldberg”. Goldberg looks around at the crowd. They circle the ring before going face-to-face. Goldberg sizes him up, and Ziggler stuns him with a superkick for a one count! Ziggler waits for him to get up and hits a second superkick, but Goldberg again kicks out at one. Ziggler charges… but Goldberg MURDERS him with a Spear! Goldberg gets the crowd going, and they loudly start chanting his name. Goldberg connects with the Jackhammer for the win!
Goldberg celebrates and goes up the ramp. Ziggler grabs a microphone and says Goldberg hit him like a little baby. Ziggler says Goldberg isn’t man enough to fight him. Goldberg goes back to the ring, and Ziggler struggles to get up. Goldberg KILLS him with another Spear! Ziggler writhes around in pain as Goldberg celebrates.
Goldberg goes to the back, but Ziggler demands another microphone. Ziggler says to Goldberg that anybody can get lucky twice. Ziggler says Goldberg doesn’t have the balls to face him man-to-man. Goldberg never did. That’s why Goldberg is a laughing stock in this business and Ziggler is the best. Ziggler will never be defeated and will never stay down.
Goldberg’s music hits to a big reception. Goldberg comes back to the ring. Goldberg smacks the microphone out of Ziggler’s hand, helps him up, looks at him with pity, and pretends to walk away. Goldberg then absolutely turns him inside out with another Spear!
WWE Champion Kofi Kingston is backstage with Smackdown Tag Team Champions The New Day. Big E and Xavier Woods introduce Drake… but it’s not Drake the musician/actor from Toronto. It’s Drake Maverick. Maverick does a lame rap and then realizes that they tricked him into thinking R-Truth is here. Maverick leaves. Kingston says he’s going to prove to Randy Orton tonight that he cannot be held down, no matter what.

They’re showing the international announce teams. R-Truth and Carmella are disguised as one of the commentary teams. Drake Maverick comes over looking for them.
Ricochet is wearing tights like the dark Spiderman. The bell rings, and Styles goes to attack, but Ricochet blocks it. Ricochet sends him to the corner, but Styles puts himself through the ropes. Ricochet punches him to the floor and fakes a flip onto The OC. Ricochet then steps on the shoulders of The OC and hits Styles with a flying hurricanrana. Ricochet gets him in the ring, and Styles kicks the legs out. Styles works over a the leg, but Ricochet forearms him back. Styles quickly kicks the legs out from under him. Styles works on the leg and stomps the knee into the mat. Styles stretches the knee on the ring ropes. Ricochet punches him, but Styles ducks an enzuigiri. Ricochet eventually takes him down with a kick to the head. Ricochet punches back at Styles, but Styles stops a whip. Ricochet hits a nice head-scissor takeover. Styles quickly drops him on the apron, but Ricochet kicks him in the face. Ricochet hits a springboard on one leg to connect with a clothesline for a near fall. Ricochet swats Styles away and hits a neckbreaker. Ricochet follows up with a standing shooting star press for a near fall. Ricochet rolls him up for a two count. Styles quickly chop blocks the knee to take Ricochet down.
Styles knocks Ricochet out of the ring and hits a vicious baseball slide. Styles gets him in the ring and goes for a powerbomb, but Ricochet gets out. Styles manages to make a comeback with an ushigoroshi for a near fall. Styles grabs him, but Ricochet tackles him into the corner. Ricochet drops Styles on the apron, but Styles quickly gets in. Ricochet quickly knocks him back and hits an enzuigiri for a near fall. Ricochet grabs the knee in pain. Styles soon takes him down and applies a Calf Crusher. Ricochet manages to twist out and applies the Anaconda Vice. Styles fights out, and both men are down. Ricochet hits a northern lights suplex before hitting a corkscrew brainbuster for a near fall. Ricochet sets Styles up, but Luke Gallows grabs the leg. Ricochet hits him with a moonsault off the second rope to the floor. Ricochet goes to the top rope, but Styles crotches him up there. Ricochet fights him off and superkicks Karl Anderson. Ricochet goes for a Phoenix Splash… but Styles catches him and turns it into the Styles Clash for the win! Wow!
Styles tells The OC to attack Ricochet. Gallows and Anderson hit the Magic Killer on Ricochet. The OC then poses in the ring.
NXT Tag Team Champions The Street Profits are backstage. Montez Ford says this is their first SummerSlam. They put over Goldberg. Angelo Dawkins then calls attention to the Toronto Champions. Dawkins talks about Nikki Cross retaining the WWE Women’s Tag Team Championships on the Kickoff Show. Dawkins then says his social media handle for Cross to contact him. “The Nature Boy” Ric Flair walks up, and The Street Profits flip out. Flair dances around with them.
During the in-ring introductions, Bayley got a very lukewarm response.
The bell rings, and Bayley hits some headlock takeovers. Moon gets out and hits some kicks to the midsection. Bayley quickly sidesteps her and reapplies a side headlock. Bayley sends her to the corner and hits a running clothesline. Bayley backs up, but Moon follows her with a clothesline. Moon hits a handspring avalanche in the corner and strikes away at the midsection. Moon dropkicks her and picks up a two count. Moon applies a bow and arrow submission hold. Bayley gets out and sidesteps a springboard cross-body. Bayley hits some running clotheslines for a two count. Bayley hits a (kind of) rope-slung suplex for a two count. The crowd is quiet for the second match in a row. Bayley stomps Moon down, but Moon kicks her away. Moon drops Bayley on the apron and takes her down. Bayley tries to pull her out of the ring, but Moon fights her. Bayley then kicks her in the face. Bayley snaps Moon off the turnbuckles and puts her in the tree of woe. Bayley then hits an elbow drop for a two count. Bayley applies a modified Boston crab, but Moon gets out. Moon avoids some strikes from Bayley and takes her down. Bayley rolls out of the ring to recover. Moon gets her in the ring and on the top rope before hitting a top rope hurricanrana. Moon hits a double knee strike for a near fall.
Moon fights out of a Bayley-To-Belly, but Bayley soon boots her back. Bayley goes to the top rope, but Moon pulls her off. They hit a powerbomb for a near fall. Bayley grabs the ankle to keep Moon from going to the corner. Moon kicks her in the face and goes to the top rope. Bayley cuts her off and hits a Bayley-To-Belly off the top rope for the win.
LOUD “Kevin Owens” chants. Shane McMahon goes outside and grabs a microphone. McMahon says to ensure this is a fair contest and it is called right down the line, he wants to introduce the special guest enforcer: Elias. Elias runs down to ringside in a referee’s shirt.
The bell rings, and McMahon gets out of the ring and hides behind Elias. Owens goes outside and talks trash with Elias. Owens gets in the ring before being counted out. McMahon again gets out of the ring. Owens chases him, and Elias trips him at ringside. Owens gets in Elias’ face again. Owens gets in the ring at the count of eight. McMahon punches and knees away at Owens in the corner. Owens turns him around and punches away at McMahon. Owens punches him in the face and takes him down. Owens crushes him with a cannonball in the corner, and the crowd erupts! Owens clotheslines McMahon out of the ring and goes for a plancha, but Elias gets in they way. If Owens hits Elias, who is acting as an official, he’ll be disqualified and his career will be over. McMahon then flips him off the apron into the barricade! Owens gets back in before being counted out.
McMahon punches away at Owens, but Owens fights back. McMahon viciously knees him in the midsection and hits a side Russian Leg Sweep. The crowd is chanting “You can’t wrestle” at McMahon. Owens starts to punch back at Shane. McMahon leapfrogs him and hits a DDT for a near fall. McMahon continues to strike Owens and goes for a Sharpshooter. Owens gets out and hits McMahon with a sit-out powerbomb. Elias gets on the apron to distract the referee. Owens yells at Elias.
Owens punches away at McMahon. Elias slides a chair into the ring, but Owens picks it up. McMahon dares Owens to hit him, knowing it will cause a disqualification. McMahon slaps him in the face to try to entice him. Owens throws the chair down and yells at Elias. McMahon goes to hit Owens from behind, but Owens moves and Elias gets hit. Owens hits a superkick on McMahon. Owens hits a senton bomb before hitting a frog splash… but Elias pulls the referee out of the ring! Owens takes Elias and the referee out with a summersault plancha!
The crowd is going crazy. Owens gets in the ring and grabs the steel chair, but Elias pulls Owens out of the ring. Owens pushes Elias away and viciously beats him down with the steel chair. Owens gets in the ring and picks the chair up, but the referee comes to and tells Owens not to do it. The referee takes the chair and throws it out. While he’s doing that, Owens low blows McMahon to a huge pop! Owens follows up with a Stunner for the win! Owens gets to keep his job.

The bell rings, and they stare at each other. Flair approaches her and towers over Stratus. They circle the ring and lock up. Flair powers her into the ropes and shoves her. They lock up, and Flair slings her into the corner before laughing at her. Stratus kicks her back and hits a Thesz Press. Stratus hits a twisting arm drag before hitting a springboard head-scissor takeover. Stratus hits another head-scissor takeover, and Flair is stunned in the corner. Stratus poses, and the crowd chants, “You still got it!” Stratus looks very pleased.
Flair kicks Stratus and goes for a powerbomb, but Stratus fights out and sends Flair out. Stratus hits a Thesz Press off the apron and punches her. Stratus grabs the hair and climbs the steps, but Flair sweeps the feet. Stratus hits the steps face-first. Flair taunts the crowd and says this is easy. Flair gets Stratus in the ring, but she quickly pulls her back out and sends her into the barricade. Flair puts Stratus in the ring and kicks her in the ribs. Flair stretches Stratus out before stretching her on the ropes. Flair goes for a back suplex, but Stratus turns into a splash for a near fall. Flair immediately takes her back down. Flair strikes her, but Stratus wildly punches back at her. Flair fights her off and puts her on the apron. Flair connects with a big boot, and Stratus falls off the apron into a flat back bump on the floor! Flair mocks Stratus, but Stratus gets in before being counted out. Flair goes for a moonsault, but Stratus moves. Stratus then hits a reverse STO. Stratus gets her to her feet and chops away at the chest. Stratus lets out a “WOO” and chops her again. Status goes for the Stratusphere in the corner, but Flair pulls her up. Flair goes for a powerbomb off the second rope, but Stratus counters into a super hurricanrana for a near fall!
Stratus gets to her feet, and Flair takes her down with a vicious big boot for a near fall. Flair starts working on the knee and goes for the Figure Four Leglock, but Stratus counters into a roll-up for a two count. Stratus then takes her down and applies the Figure Four Leglock to Flair before transitioning into the Figure Eight! The crowd is LOUD for this. Flair screams in pain, but she eventually gets to the bottom rope. Stratus approaches her, but Flair kicks her in the knee.
The crowd is chanting, “This is awesome.” Flair charges, but Stratus sidesteps her and hits the Stratusfaction… but Flair kicks out! Another “This is awesome” chant. They start trading chops from their knees. Stratus surprises her with a jackknife pin for a near fall. Stratus avoids the big boot and hits the Chick Kick for a near fall. Stratus sizes Flair up, but Flair stuns her with a big boot. Flair applies the Figure Four Leglock before turning it into the Figure Eight. Stratus screams in pain and has no choice but to submit!
Charlotte Flair celebrates and goes to the back. Trish Stratus slowly gets to her feet while the crowd chants, “Thank you, Trish!” Stratus shows her love to the crowd and poses on the turnbuckles. Great moment and a loud ovation for the WWE Hall of Famer, who may have just had her last match in her hometown.
Seth Rollins is warming up backstage when Bret “Hitman” Hart shakes hands with him. Hart says he’ll be watching.

The bell rings, and Orton mockingly gives him a pancake. They shove each other, and Orton powers him to the corner. The referee backs them up. Orton is trying to get him fired up to make a mistake. A “Kofi’s stupid/Randy sucks” chant picks up. Orton sends him to the corner, but Kingston pops out and clotheslines him down. Kingston chops him in the corner. Orton reverses a whip to the opposite corner, but Kingston scales the ropes and hits a jumping axe handle. Kingston punches Orton in the corner, but Orton thumbs the eye. Orton sidesteps him, but Kingston jumps to the top rope. Orton then shoves him off the top turnbuckle to the barricade. Orton attacks Kingston outside the ring and hits a back suplex on the commentary table. Orton rolls him into the ring for a near fall. Orton stomps him and bends Kingston on the ropes using the hair. Orton throws him out of the ring and goes to send him into the steps. Kingston leaps over the steps and then jumps off with a flying forearm. Kingston gets him in the ring, but Orton soon gets out and takes him down. Orton then gives him another back suplex on the commentary table. Orton uppercuts him and gets him in the ring for a near fall. Orton pulls at Kingston’s hair. Orton goes for a superplex, but Kingston fights it. Orton head-butts him and tries again, but Kingston fights him off again. Orton falls to the mat, and Kingston jumps off the top rope with a tornado DDT for a near fall. Orton seems to have a cut on his forehead. Kingston chops Orton down before hitting a clothesline. Kingston then dropkicks him down before hitting a leaping clothesline. Kingston follows up with a Boom Drop and starts talking some trash. Kingston sets up for a Trouble in Paradise, but Orton counters into his trademark headlock backbreaker for a near fall. Orton goes for a hanging DDT, but Kingston counters into a back body drop. Kingston then goes to the top rope and hits a trust fall to the floor!
Kingston gets Orton in the ring and goes to the top rope. Kingston hits a nice cross-body block for a near fall. Kingston gets him up, but Orton throws him off. Kingston goes for a pendulum kick, but Orton blocks it and hits a hanging DDT! Orton looks out in the crowd and drops down to stalk Kingston. Orton sets up for an RKO, but Kingston counters into a backslide pin for a near fall. Kingston catches him with a pendulum kick and jumps off the second rope, but Orton hits him with an RKO from out of nowhere! Orton lays on the mat laughing. Kingston slowly rolls out of the ring to avoid a pin.
Orton goes outside to grab Kingston. Kingston’s children are watching on. Orton is taunting the children. Kingston becomes enraged and starts wildly punching him. The referee counts them out.
Kingston punches Orton around ringside and sends him into the steel steps. The crowd is chanting, “Bullsh!t.” Kingston grabs a kendo stick and viciously smashes Orton over and over again with it. Kingston gets him in the ring and continues to smash the stick on Orton’s back. Kingston waits for him to get up and hits a big Trouble in Paradise. Kingston poses, but the crowd boos him. Kingston goes over to his family and embraces them.
Video Package: “The Fiend” Bray Wyatt vs. Finn Balor
After Finn Balor makes his entrance, the Firefly Funhouse music plays. It then fades away. On the titantron it says, “Let him in.” “The Fiend” Bray Wyatt makes his way to the ring to a remix of his old theme song. The lantern has a Bray Wyatt fright face on it to make it look like the light is coming out of his grotesquely disfigured mouth. This entrance is incredible. Balor looks disturbed.
The crowd is chanting, “Holy sh!t” before this begins. Balor gets in the ring, and The Fiend grabs in before taking him down. The Fiend kicks Balor before sending him into the ropes for a running head-butt to the chest. The Fiend punches away at Balor in the corner. A “Yowie Wowie” chant picks up. The Fiend punches Balor and sends him to the corner. Balor slingshots over him, but The Fiend quickly bends back to scare him. The Fiend grabs Balor and takes him down. The Fiend grabs Balor by the head and snaps his neck. The Fiend hits a big uranage. The Fiend drops down and poses next to Balor. The Fiend then starts to flip out and looks torn. Balor gets out of a Sister Abigail and hits a Sling Blade. Balor dropkicks him to the corner and kicks away at him before hitting a double stomp to the chest. Balor dropkicks him into the corner and goes for the Coup de Grace. The Fiend moves and applies the Mandible Claw! Balor fights it, but he eventually passes out. The referee counts his shoulders down.
“The Fiend” disappears after some strobe lights play on him. Finn Balor comes to in the ring, and the crowd is chanting, “That was awesome!”

They do the in-ring announcements, but Paul Heyman takes the microphone and calls Brock Lesnar the “Sultan of SummerSlam.” The crowd is LOUD with Heyman the whole way. Rollins’ ribs are taped up.
The bell rings, and Lesnar immediately attacks the injured ribs of Rollins. Lesnar shoves him to the corner and hits some shoulder thrusts. Lesnar picks him up and slams him into the corner before taking him down. Rollins responds with a kick to the face. Lesnar goes for a German Suplex, but Rollins flips through and lands on his feet! Rollins hits the Stomp, but Lesnar kicks out at two and a half! Paul Heyman is stunned.
Lesnar rolls out of the ring to recover, so Rollins hits a flying knee off the apron. Rollins gets him in the ring, but Lesnar surprises him with a German Suplex attempt. Rollins again lands on his feet! Rollins superkicks him twice and goes for a Stomp, but Lesnar counters into an F5! Lesnar takes a few moments to catch his breath. Lesnar looks surprised with Rollins. Lesnar picks Rollins up by the tape around his ribs and spins him around the ring before letting him go! Wow! Lesnar hits three German Suplexes, and Rollins gets out of the ring to recover. Lesnar follows him out and gives him a German Suplex on the floor! Lesnar lets out a primal scream. Lesnar gets him in the ring and takes him down with another German Suplex. Lesnar struts around. Rollins rolls out of the ring to recover again. Lesnar goes outside and grabs him for an F5 into the post. Rollins slides off and sends him headfirst into the ring post. Rollins sends him headfirst into the post again and gets him in the ring. Rollins hits a flying knee off the top rope. Rollins goes to the top rope and jumps, but Lesnar counters into another German Suplex.
Lesnar gets to his feet and takes his gloves off. Lesnar hits a powerful release suplex. Rollins is clutching his ribs in pain. Lesnar picks him up and slams him into the corner. Lesnar then pulls him to the center of the ring and applies a bearhug. Rollins tries to get away, so Lesnar clubs him in the spine. Lesnar chokes him on the middle rope. Lesnar picks him up and slams him into the corner again. Lesnar charges for a shoulder thrust, but Rollins moves. Lesnar hits the ring post shoulder-first. Lesnar is on the apron, so Rollins kicks him into the commentary table. Rollins hits a suicide dive, gets back into the ring and hits a second one. Rollins goes for a third, but Lesnar catches him and wildly runs him into the ring post spine-first!
Lesnar walks around ringside and then clears off one of the commentary tables. Lesnar turns into a superkick from Rollins. Lesnar is laying on the table. Rollins goes to the top rope, stands on the ring post, and hits a frog splash from the ring post to the commentary table! The table breaks into pieces! Lesnar is gasping for breath while the crowd chants, “Holy Sh!t”!
Both men feebly get in the ring. The crowd is chanting, “Burn it down!” Rollins goes to the top rope and hits a frog splash. Rollins gets up and sizes Lesnar up before hitting a big Stomp… but Lesnar kicks out! Rollins cannot believe it. Rollins goes for another Stomp, but Lesnar counters into an F5 attempt. Rollins gets out by landing on his feet and superkicks Lesnar! Rollins follows up with a Stomp for the win!
Seth Rollins looks at the WWE Universal Championship and becomes emotional. Rollins hides his face as he weeps. Rollins celebrates with the championship and stands on the commentary table while pyrotechnics go off on the stage.
