“Then. Now. Forever.” The WWE video leads us into the show.

A video kicks off the show highlighting the big matches we’ll see on tonight’s Royal Rumble event, as wells as showcasing the two Royal Rumble matches.

We go live into Chase Field to see an arena of 40,000 fans in attendance. The stage is a small dugout stage with some LED boards. They are using augmented reality to accentuate the entrances.

Smackdown Women’s Championship
Becky Lynch vs. Asuka (c)

The crowd is definitely buzzing over this match. The bell rings, and the two competitors stare at each other before circling the ring. They lock up, and Lynch shoves her into the ropes. Asuka shoves her off. They circle the ring again and lock up. Lynch applies a side headlock, but Asuka whips her off. Lynch hits a shoulder block, but Asuka bounces off the ropes and dropkicks her down. There is feedback from the production crew. Lynch ducks a spinning back fist and punches her. Lynch talks trash, hits the ropes, avoids a dropkick, and shoulder blocks her down. Lynch grabs the arm, but Asuka fights it. Lynch quickly uppercuts her, but Asuka quickly peppers her with kicks to the legs for a one count. Lynch blocks a kick and forearms away at her before hitting a spin kick. Lynch hits the ropes, ducks a clothesline, and hits a diving shoulder block. Asuka rolls out of the ring to recover. Lynch talks trash, but the referee backs her up. Lynch slides out of the ring, and Asuka gets in. Lynch gets on the apron, and Asuka connects with a running hip attack to knock her to the floor. Asuka gets on the apron and goes for a kick, but Lynch moves. Lynch then gets on the apron and big boots her to the floor. Lynch bounces her off the apron and gets in the ring to break the count. Asuka pulls her out and slams her off the apron. Asuka sends her into the barricade and then into the LED apron. Asuka goes for a whip, but Lynch counters into a Bexploder into the barricade. Lynch gets her in the ring for a two count.

Lynch hits a knee strike and puts her in the corner. Lynch stomps away at her before the referee backs her up. Lynch grabs the hair and clubs away at the back. Lynch bounces her off the turnbuckle and hits a suplex for a two count. Lynch applies an arm bar and really targets the shoulder joint. Asuka screams in pain and fights up, but Lynch pulls her down. Asuka kicks her in the hamstring and knocks her back. Asuka avoids a spin kick and kicks her in the midsection. Lynch avoids a running hip attack and punches away at her in the ropes. Asuka then grabs her and applies the Asuka Lock from the ropes. Asuka releases after the count of four. Lynch avoids a running shoulder thrust in the corner. Lynch then applies the Dis-Arm-Her in between the ropes. Lynch jumps off the middle ropes, but Asuka knees her in the face. Both women are down.

Lynch gets to her feet and punches Asuka, but it only psyches her up. Asuka then springboards out of the corner with a missile dropkick. Asuka hits a running hip attack in the corner and goes for a German Suplex, but Lynch blocks it. Asuka connects with a back fist and finally executes the German Suplex. Asuka hits her with another hip attack for a two count. Asuka goes to the top rope, but Lynch avoids the missile dropkick. Lynch hits a one-armed slam for a near fall. Lynch cannot believe it. Asuka all of a sudden catches Lynch with the Dis-Arm-Her. Lynch tries to roll her over for a pin, and Asuka transitions into an Asuka Lock. Asuka doesn’t have it locked in all the way, and they roll to the apron. They both slug it out on the apron. Asuka soon gets the advantage and goes for a German Suplex to the floor, but Lynch holds the top rope. Lynch powers her off and goes for a Bexploder off the apron, but Asuka fights that off. Asuka then kills her with a nasty looking fisherman’s suplex to the floor! Wow!

Asuka gets in the ring, and Lynch somehow beats the count. Asuka immediately hits her with a sliding kick and picks up a near fall. Asuka looks frustrated. They’re striking each other from down on their knees. Asuka unleashes a flurry of strikes, but Lynch grabs the arm. Asuka fights out and connects with a spin kick to the face for a near fall. Lynch avoids a suplex and sidesteps her. Asuka goes to the top rope, but Lynch knees her in the face. Asuka fights her off, but Lynch comes back. Lynch connects with a Super Bexploder… but Asuka kicks out! Lynch is stunned.

Lynch goes to the top rope for a diving leg drop, but Asuka moves. Asuka goes for the Asuka Lock, but she then turns it into the Dis-Arm-Her. Lynch gets out and applies the Asuka Lock to Asuka. Asuka gets out and kicks her. Lynch then takes her down and applies the Dis-Arm-Her. Asuka screams in pain and tries for the bottom rope, but Lynch drags her into the center of the ring. They trade pins before Asuka tries for another Asuka Lock. Asuka then turns it into Cattle Mutilation to pick up the submission!

Replays are shown of The Bar viciously attacking Shane McMahon and The Miz on Smackdown Live this past Tuesday. Sheamus killed McMahon with a Brogue Kick before powerbombing him onto Miz through the commentary table.

The bell rings, and McMahon immediately spears Sheamus before punching away at him. Cesaro quickly pulls Sheamus out of the ring. Sheamus looks stunned. The Miz tags in, as does Cesaro. Miz takes Cesaro down and goes for a Skull Crushing Finale, but Cesaro gets out. Cesaro quickly retreats to his corner. Cesaro meets Miz in the center of the ring and punches him. Miz gets out of a slam and tries for a Figure Four Leglock. Cesaro kicks him to his corner, but Miz fights them off. Cesaro quickly uppercuts him and tags in Sheamus. The Bar stomps Miz in the corner, so McMahon runs in to even the score. Sheamus avoids Miz and knocks McMahon off the apron. Miz kicks away at Sheamus in the corner. Cesaro quickly gets a cheap shot in on Miz. They clear the commentary table and go to powerbomb Miz through it, but McMahon makes the save. McMahon and Miz fight The Bar and send Sheamus into the ring post. They position Cesaro on the commentary table. McMahon goes to the top rope for a Leap of Faith, but Sheamus breaks it up. McMahon then hits Sheamus with a diving clothesline to the floor!

Cesaro quickly floors McMahon with a running uppercut before sending him into the barricade. In the ring, Cesaro takes Miz down and picks up a near fall. Sheamus tags in and hits a diving knee drop off the second rope for a near fall. Sheamus applies an overhead wristlock and knees Miz in the spine. Sheamus overpowers Miz and puts him on the apron for the 10 Beats of the Bodhrán. Cesaro tags in and takes Miz down for a near fall. Cesaro applies a chin lock, but Miz fights up. Cesaro takes him down and tags in Sheamus. Sheamus stomps away at Miz and taunts McMahon on the apron. Cesaro tags in and hits McMahon with a double axe handle. Sheamus tags in and kicks Miz. Miz starts to fight back before hitting a jawbreaker. Sheamus stumbles into his corner and tags in Cesaro. Miz avoids a strike and hits a back body drop.

McMahon and Sheamus tags in. McMahon avoids a Brogue Kick and hits a jumping back elbow. McMahon hits his punch combination before knocking Cesaro off the apron. McMahon then hits Sheamus with a DDT for a near fall. McMahon stomps away at Sheamus in the corner, setting him up for Coast-To-Coast. Cesaro blind tags in, but McMahon notices and punches him down by Cesaro. McMahon goes to the opposite corner for Coast-To-Coast, but Cesaro picks him out of mid-air and does the Cesaro Swing! There are double digit revolutions here. Cesaro looks wobbly legged, and McMahon manages to apply a triangle choke. Cesaro tries to power him up, but McMahon squeezes harder to take him down. Sheamus then breaks up the hold. Miz runs in and big boots him out of the ring. Sheamus avoids a baseball slide from Miz and takes him down at ringside. The Bar hits a double-team White Noise, but McMahon kicks out. Sheamus is stunned.

Cesaro holds McMahon up for a Brogue Kick, but McMahon moves. Sheamus inadvertently hits Cesaro with the Brogue Kick. Miz then hits Sheamus with a Skull Crushing Finale. McMahon sets Cesaro up and goes to the top rope. McMahon connects with a SHOOTING STAR PRESS and picks up the win!

Winners and new Smackdown Tag Team Champions: The Miz and Shane McMahon

The Miz and Shane McMahon go over to ringside and hug Miz’ dad. The commentators talk about how Miz’ dad can finally be proud of him. The Miz and Shane McMahon then celebrate with the titles.

They announce that they have set an attendance record for Chase Field with 48,193 people in attendance.

Sasha Banks is interviewed backstage. Charly Caruso says people are saying she’s destined to fail. Banks says Ronda Rousey has never been in the ring with a Legit Boss like her.

RAW Women’s Championship
Sasha Banks vs. “Rowdy” Ronda Rousey (c)

Mixed reaction for Rousey tonight. They are raring to go during the ring announcements. They go face-to-face and talk trash. Rousey goes for a takedown, but Banks turns it on her. Banks wrenches the arm and goes up the ropes, but Rousey counters the arm bar. Rousey then mocks Banks’ taunt. Rousey knees away at Banks before having a whip to the corner reversed. Rousey slingshots over her, talks some trash to some in the crowd that say she can’t wrestle, and goes for Eddie Guerrero’s Three Amigos. Banks counters the third suplex, but Rousey fights out and goes for an arm bar. Banks gets out and slaps her, but Rousey unloads on her. Rousey grabs her at ringside and goes for a big right hand, but Banks moves. Rousey hits the ring post, and the LED post shorts out. Banks hits a suicide dive, puts her in the ring, and picks up a two count.

Banks applies a straightjacket hold to work on the injured arm. Rousey fights up and goes to the corner. Banks hits double knees to the midsection before hitting double knees to the face for a two count. Banks goes back to the straightjacket hold. Rousey elbows out and charges, but Banks boots her in the face. Rousey looks out on her feet, but she avoids an aerial assault. Rousey hits a running elbow for a two count. Banks punches back at Rousey and hits an arm breaker. Banks knees her in the face for a near fall. Banks puts her in the corner and chokes her with her boot. Rousey avoids double knees and goes for Piper’s Pit, but Banks counters into an arm bar! Banks really bends the arm back, but Rousey somehow manages to roll out. Banks then transitions to a Bank Statement. Rousey manages to get out and hits Piper’s Pit, nearly spiking Banks on her head. Rousey uses the ropes to apply a quick arm bar.

Rousey goes to the top rope, but Banks cuts her off. Banks connects with a superplex for a near fall. Banks applies an arm bar, but Rousey eventually fights up and slams her for a two count. Rousey connects with a trio of judo arm drags and sets up for the arm bar, but Banks kicks her out of the ring. Banks goes for a suicide dive, but Rousey catches her and applies an arm bar at ringside! Banks taps out, but the match can only end in the ring. Rousey gets Banks in the ring and punches away at the arm. Rousey takes her down, but Banks picks up a two count. Banks avoids a suplex and pulls Rousey face-first into the bottom turnbuckle. Banks kicks Rousey in the injured arm. Rousey quickly takes her down and tries for an arm bar, but Banks gets out. Banks counters out of Piper’s Pit and goes for the Bank Statement. Banks uses her ring gear to get more leverage. Rousey nearly gets to the ropes, so Banks applies a Fujiwara Arm Bar. Rousey rolls out and hits a gutwrench powerbomb. Rousey follows up with Piper’s Pit for the win.

Winner and still RAW Women’s Champion: “Rowdy” Ronda Rousey

Rousey grabs Banks hand and helps her up. Rousey is showing her respect. Banks nods her head and leaves the ring. Rousey kisses Travis Browne at ringside. Banks returns to ringside and shakes hands with her. Banks then holds up four fingers to sign the Four Horsewomen.

On the Royal Rumble Kickoff Show, Buddy Murphy retained the WWE Cruiserweight Championship over Hideo Itami, Akira Tozawa, and Kalisto. Shinsuke Nakamura also defeated Rusev to win the WWE United States Championship.

Beth Phoenix joins commentary for the 30-Woman Royal Rumble match.

30-Woman Royal Rumble Match

No. 1: Lacey Evans

Before entrant number two happens, Lacey Evans grabs a microphone. Evans says everyone will witness history. She is the one and only true lady of WWE. She is here to clean up this entire Women’s Division.

No. 2: Natalya

They lock up, and Natalya applies a side headlock. Natalya whips her off, but Evans counters a hip toss. Evans flips through a move, and they both go for dropkicks. They’re at a stalemate. Evans shoves her, but Natalya shoves her into the ropes. Natalya clotheslines her over the top rope, but Evans lands on the apron. Evans punches her back and gets in the ring. Evans takes her down and puts her in the corner. Evans puts Natalya on the top rope, but Natalya comes back with a hurricanrana and a Discus Lariat.

No. 3: Mandy Rose

Rose gets in the ring and clotheslines Natalya before punching away at her. Rose knees Natalya in the face and goes to slam her over the top rope, but Natalya fights it. Natalya hits a Discus Lariat on Rose and sweeps the feet of Evans. While Rose was making her entrance, Evan missed a moonsault. Natalya takes them both down and applies a double Sharpshooter. Both tap out, but that doesn’t matter in the Royal Rumble.

No. 4: Liv Morgan

Morgan gets in the ring and charges Natalya, but Natalya gives her a back body drop over the top rope!

Liv Morgan has been eliminated.

Evans and Rose team up against Natalya, but Evans double-crosses her. Evans puts Natalya and Rose in the corner and throws a white handkerchief. She then hits a slingshot dropkick.

No. 5: Mickie James

James gets in the ring and takes Rose and Natalya down. James attacks Evans and hits a neckbreaker. James gets out of a German Suplex from Natalya and hits the Mick Kick. Rose attacks James and puts her in the corner. James elbows her back and tries to give Rose a hurricanrana over the top rope. James saves herself and dumps Rose over the top rope, but Rose holds on. Evans then grabs James, but James takes her down.

No. 6: Ember Moon

Moon hits Natalya and James with a springboard cross-body before taking Rose down. Moon hits Evans with a front suplex before wiping out James. Moon goes to eliminate Rose, but Rose holds the top rope. James tries to get Moon out of the ring, but Moon holds on. Natalya puts Evans on the apron, but she fights back into the ring.

No. 7: Billie Kay

Kay decides that she’s going to stay at ringside and wait for the field to clear in the ring. Kay walks around talking about how great her strategy is. There is a big log jam in the ring as people try to eliminate Rose. Rose manages to stay alive.

No. 8: Nikki Cross

Cross runs down and pushes Kay into the barricade. Cross gets in the ring and comes off the top rope with a cross-body block onto all the competitors. Cross runs through everyone and throws Evans over the top rope, but she holds on! Cross takes Moon down and hits James with a bulldog. Rose grabs Cross by the hair, but Cross looks like she enjoyed it. Cross hits a reverse DDT and poses. Billie Kay gets in the ring, and Cross takes her down. Cross and Kay brawl around the ring.

No. 9: Peyton Royce

Royce gets in the ring and hits Cross with a rolling Death Valley Driver. Kay hits Cross with a backbreaker, and Royce follows up with a big boot. Moon cuts them off, but she’s soon taken down. Royce kicks Moon down, and Kay joins in. Moon is nearly eliminated, but she holds on.

No. 10: Tamina

Tamina comes in and hits Moon, Kay, and Royce with Samoan Drops. Cross attacks her, but Tamina no sells it. Cross dropkicks her and spears her under the bottom rope. Tamina is not eliminated. Tamina gets in the ring and superkicks her. James drops Tamina on the apron, but Tamina fights her back. Tamina goes to the top rope and hits Cross with a Superfly Splash. James kicks Tamina back and hits a flying seated senton. Tamina puts James on the apron and superkicks her to the floor.

Mickie James has been eliminated her.

No. 11: Xia Li

This is the first Chinese female performer to wrestle on a WWE main roster show. Li takes a few people down before kicking Evans in the face. Tamina cuts Li off, but Li jumps over her. Tamina flips her over, but Li kicks her in the face with a spin kick.

No. 12: Sarah Logan

Logan gets in the ring and hits some running knee strikes. Logan slams Moon and nearly eliminates her, but Moon somehow manages to hang on by her foot. Kay puts Cross on the top rope, and Royce teams up to eliminate her.

Nikki Cross has been eliminated.

Royce charges Evans, but Evans props her up on the top rope. On the opposite side of the ring, Natalya is trying to eliminate Rose.

No. 13: Charlotte Flair

Flair gets a big reaction during her entrance. Flair gets in the ring, and a whole bunch of females attack. Flair fights them off and chops Moon down. Tamina attacks Flair from behind, but she’s taken down. Flair hits Evans with a t-bone suplex. Flair then hits a slingshot dropkick to eliminate Royce and Kay.

Peyton Royce has been eliminated.

Billie Kay has been eliminated.

Flair takes down Xia Li and puts her on the apron. Li knocks her back, but Flair big boots her to the floor.

Xia Li has been eliminated.

Flair chops away at Tamina while the clock counts down for another entrant.

No. 14: Kairi Sane

Flair clotheslines Tamina over the top rope, which Tamina nearly botched.

Tamina has been eliminated.

Sane gets in the ring and chops away at Flair. Flair screams with intensity and chops Sane back. Evans clubs Flair in the back to take her down. Sane goes to the top rope and hits Logan with a diving elbow drop. Sane goes to eliminate Logan, and Natalya joins in to help.

Sarah Logan has been eliminated.

No. 15: Maria Kanellis

Flair and Evans go face-to-face, and Kanellis gets in the middle of them. They attack Kanellis and shoulder thrust her. Kanellis then hits them with a double bulldog. Kanellis kicks Moon and hits an X-Factor. Kanellis dances, and Flair spears her down. Evans quickly grabs Flair and bounces her off the corner.

No. 16: Naomi

Naomi hits Rose with a jawbreaker, but Rose drops her on the apron. Naomi pulls her onto the apron and kicks her in the head to eliminate her.

Mandy Rose has been eliminated.

Rose pulls her off the apron, but Naomi bends back and does a handstand. Naomi kicks her away, walks along the barricade — she is still not eliminated. Naomi jumps to the stairs, but Rose pushes her to the floor.

Naomi has been eliminated.

Naomi and Rose have to be separated by the referees. Flair then eliminates Evans.

Lacey Evans has been eliminated.

No. 17: Candice LaRae

Moon nearly eliminates LaRae, but she hangs on. LaRae applies a submission to Moon, but Moon gives her a gutbuster.

No. 18: Alicia Fox

Fox dropkicks some people down, and Kanellis asks to team up. Fox dropkicks Sane down, and Kanellis follows up with a DDT. Kanellis and Fox high five and dance in the ring. Kanellis gives Fox her hat, and Fox puts it on Kanellis. Kanellis takes the hat off and stomps it. Fox is not happy. Fox drops down and throws a tantrum. Fox then dropkicks Kanellis off the apron.

Maria Kanellis has been eliminated.

No. 19: Kacy Catanzaro

Catanzaro gets in the ring and hits a head-scissor takeover on Sane. Catanzaro takes Natalya down and gives Fox a head-scissor to the apron. Fox nearly gets eliminated, but she stays alive. Fox then gives her a backbreaker.

No. 20: Zelina Vega

Vega runs into the ring and forearms Sane down. Vega then goes face-to-face with LaRae, her old rival from NXT. They shove each other before getting into a hockey fight. LaRae dropkicks her down and forearms her in the corner. Vega sidesteps her and hits running double knees. Moon hits Natalya with a low cross-body block in the corner.

No. 21: Ruby Riott

The rest of The Riott Squad joins Riott while she makes her way to the ring. The Riott Squad pulls Flair out from under the bottom rope and stomp away at her. Logan then knees Flair in the face. Logan pulls Vega down, but she escapes. They then pull Fox out of the ring. Vega then goes under the ring to hide. This is the old Jerry Lawler move from the 1996 Royal Rumble. Ruby Riott eliminates Fox.

Alicia Fox has been eliminated.

Logan and Morgan grab LaRae and powerbomb her into the barricade. She is not eliminated. They put LaRae in the ring, and Riott eliminates her.

Candice LaRae has been eliminated. 

No. 22: Dana Brooke

Brooke dropkicks Riott down and slams Catanzaro. Brooke then hits Catanzaro with a powerbomb. Brooke slams Riott and punches away at her. Morgan and Logan then pull Brooke out of the ring from under the bottom rope. Riott then eliminates Sane. She took a nasty bump!

Kairi Sane has been eliminated.

Moon fights Natalya and Flair off to stay alive in the Royal Rumble. The Riott Squad concentrates on the eliminated Sane, taking her down at ringside.

No. 23: Io Shirai

Shirai runs down and dropkicks Morgan and Logan. Shirai then takes Riott down. Shirai goes to the top rope and hits The Riott Squad with a moonsault block to the floor! Shirai gets Riott in the ring and tries to eliminate her, but Riott holds on. Shirai and Riott fight it out on the apron. They both roll back in under the bottom rope.

No. 24: Rhea Ripley

Ripley runs in and starts in with some strikes. Brooke knocks Catanzaro out of the ring, but her feet never touch. She sits on her rear end and does a handstand, walks on her hands, straddles the ring post, and gets in the ring. She comes off the top rope, but Ripley catches her and eliminates her.

Kacy Catanzaro has been eliminated.

No. 25: Sonya Deville

Deville spears Moon down. Riott kicks her, but Deville takes her down and knees her. Deville knees away at Brooke and taunts the crowd. Brooke shoulder blocks Deville down and hits a cartwheel splash. Brooke hits a jawbreaker on Deville and an enzuigiri on Ripley. Ripley gets Brooke on the apron and dropkicks her to the floor.

Dana Brooke has been eliminated. 

Vega peeks out from under the ring, and Hornswoggle appears from under the ring as well. Hornswoggle chases her around and into the ring. Ripley then body slams Vega over the top rope to eliminate her. Hornswoggle then chases her up the ramp.

Zelina Vega has been eliminated. 

No. 26: Alexa Bliss

Bliss attacks Moon and hits a backflip double knee. That looked nasty. Flair attacks Bliss and goes for a powerbomb, but Bliss counters into Code Red. Deville punches away at Bliss in the corner. Ripley is hanging on while Natalya and Moon try to eliminate her. Bliss then eliminates Deville.

Sonya Deville has been eliminated.

No. 27: Bayley

Bayley slams Bliss down and takes the rest of the field down. A “Bayley” chant picks up. Bayley knees Riott in the face and eliminates her with a clothesline. Ripley soon follows as Bayley gives her a back body drop to the floor.

Ruby Riott has been eliminated.

Rhea Ripley has been eliminated.

No. 28: Lana

Lana comes out limping from injuring her ankle on the Kickoff Show. She is slowly walking down to the ring, baby step after baby step. The crowd is chanting for Becky Lynch. Lana starts to cry as she is having trouble walking. In the ring, Bayley is trying to eliminate Bliss. Moon knocks Shirai to the apron and tries to push her off, but Shirai hangs on. Trainers check on Lana. She has not entered the match yet.

No. 29: Nia Jax

Jax walks by Lana and big boots her down. Jax attacks the injured ankle and drives it into the metal barricade. Jax gets in the ring and swats Shirai down before clotheslining Flair and Moon. Bayley attacks, but Jax wipes her out easily. Shirai tries for a moonsault, but Jax catches her and throws her over the top rope.

Io Shirai has been eliminated.

Jax goes for an avalanche, but Natalya moves. Natalya lifts Jax up, but Jax slides off. Jax then throws Natalya over the top rope.

Natalya has been eliminated.

No. 30: Carmella

Carmella gets in the ring and hits a hurricanrana on Jax. Carmella dropkicks Moon, but Jax soon avalanches her down. Carmella is down. Lana has never entered the ring.

Becky Lynch comes out and looks at Lana. She talks to Fit Finlay and negotiates her way into this match. The crowd is going nuts. Lynch gets in the ring, and the crowd is erupting.

She goes face-to-face with Jax, who “broke her face” in November 2018. Lynch attacks Jax, but Flair grabs Lynch. Flair puts on the apron, but she stays in. Jax throws Lynch to the apron, but she holds on again. Lynch kicks Jax back and goes to the top rope for a missile dropkick. Bliss forearms Moon, but Moon flapjacks her. Moon puts Bliss on the apron, but Bliss pulls her to the apron by the hair as well. Moon holds Bliss over the precipice of the ringside area, but she holds onto Moon. Bliss tries to knock Moon off the apron, but Moon somehow hangs on. Bliss then hits an STO to eliminate Moon.

Ember Moon has been eliminated.

Carmella bounces Bliss of the turnbuckle and stomps her down. Carmella does a moonwalk and connects with a Bronco Buster on Bliss. Bliss quickly bends her back, but Carmella slaps her. Carmella superkicks Bliss. Bayley then hits Bliss with a Turnbuckle Powerbomb. Carmella teams up with Bayley to eliminate Bliss.

Alexa Bliss has been eliminated.

Jax clotheslines Bayley and Carmella down. Jax teases punching Lynch in the face, but it’s broken up. Flair starts slamming people until Carmella takes her down. Carmella goes to the top rope for a cross-body. Flair rolls through and picks Carmella up for a backbreaker. Flair goes to the top rope and kicks Carmella back. Carmella goes for a handspring head-scissor, but Flair counters by dropping her on the apron. Carmella mocks the “Woo,” but Flair puts her on the apron. Carmella superkicks Jax, and Flair knocks Carmella off the apron.

Carmella has been eliminated.

Bayley nearly eliminates Flair, but she holds on. Bayley hits Jax and Lynch with a dropkick. This is the final four: Bayley, Becky Lynch, Charlotte Flair, and Nia Jax. Jax goes for a Samoan Drop on Bayley, but Flair big boots Jax. Bayley flies over the top rope.

Bayley has been eliminated.

Flair and Lynch start fighting, but Jax avalanches her. Jax talks trash and head-butts Flair. Jax tries to eliminate Flair, but she hangs on and elbows her back. Flair big boots her three times to the corner. Flair lifts her and connects with a scary Death Valley Driver. Lynch is down on the floor at ringside, but she is not eliminated. Flair lifts Jax up and puts her on the apron. Lynch then pulls Jax off the apron!

Nia Jax has been eliminated.

It is down to Becky Lynch and Charlotte Flair! The crowd is going nuts. Jax runs over Lynch at ringside, and Lynch clutches her leg in pain. Flair is laughing in the ring. Referees check on Lynch at ringside. Lynch is having trouble putting weight on the leg. Flair is positively gleeful about this. Lynch gets in the ring, but immediately collapses. Lynch dares Flair to fight her. Lynch says it is her time. Flair chop blocks the knee and viciously attacks it. Flair hits a knee breaker and twists away at it. Flair puts her in the tree of woe and kicks her down. Lynch manages to stun her with an enzuigiri. Lynch puts Flair on the apron and punches away at her. Flair kicks her in the knee to stave off elimination. Flair hits a t-bone suplex and stares at Lynch with dagger in her eyes. Flair charges for a big boot, but Lynch ducks that. Flair goes over the top rope, and Lynch gives one final kick to eliminate her!

Winner: Becky Lynch

Becky Lynch looks absolutely thrilled. She limps around the ring and poses. Lynch looks completely stunned by this. Lynch then points to the WrestleMania sign.

The bell rings, and Bryan does a strange crawl toward Styles. They lock up and tussle to the corner. Styles quickly punches Bryan down in the corner. Bryan puts himself through the ropes while the referee backs Styles up. Bryan gets back in, and they do a test of strength. Bryan grabs the arm and digs his foot into Styles’ face. Styles applies a side headlock, whips him off, and shoulder blocks him down. Styles applies a headlock and cinches it in. Bryan fights up, but Styles takes him down with a big arm drag. Bryan rolls out of the ring to recover. Bryan gets in the ring and chops away at Styles. Styles responds with some chops, so Bryan punches back. Bryan chops him. Styles punches out of the corner and chops him hard. Styles quickly sends him into the ropes and connects with a back body drop. Styles hits a snapmare and kicks him in the spine. Styles then applies a chin lock. Bryan uppercuts him and hits a throat thrust. Styles charges, but Bryan flapjacks him onto the top of the ring post! Styles falls to the outside in pain. Styles also appears to be bleeding.

Bryan goes outside and sends him shoulder-first into the ring post. Styles is bleeding from the nose. Bryan gets Styles in the ring and kicks him in the shoulder. Bryan bends the arm back into a triangle and stomps it for a two count. Bryan then applies a hammerlock to the injured shoulder. Styles gets a foot on the bottom rope. Styles tries to fight him off, but Bryan hits a double arm suplex into an arm scissor. Styles quickly rolls to the bottom rope to break the hold. Bryan takes him down and focuses on the bleeding nose, punching him there a few times. Bryan then taunts the crowd. Styles fights back and chops him. Bryan punches back, but Styles makes a comeback. Styles does a strike combination before hitting a dropkick. Styles gets to his feet and hits a diving clothesline. Styles hits a pumphandle backbreaker before hitting a suplex neckbreaker for a near fall. Bryan picks him up, but Styles fights back. They trade pins before Styles connects with a dragon screw. Styles charges, but Bryan hits a drop-toe-hold into the turnbuckle. Bryan then starts to kick the chest in the corner. Bryan backs up and hits a running dropkick. Styles counters a second one, but Bryan slides off and applies a full nelson. Bryan then hits a dragon suplex for a near fall! Wow! Styles landed right on his head and neck.

Bryan puts him on the top rope and tries for a super hurricanrana, but Styles holds him. Styles teases a Styles Clash off the ropes, but Bryan kicks him in the face to the floor. Styles avoids a baseball slide and kicks him in the face at ringside. Styles elbows him back and hits a moonsault into a reverse DDT on the floor! Styles gets him in the ring and goes for a springboard 450, but Bryan gets the knees up. Bryan rips at the face before applying the LeBell Lock! Styles fights out of it and applies the Calf Crusher. Bryan immediately grabs the bottom rope to break the hold.

Styles blocks a kick, but Bryan connects with an enzuigiri. Bryan gets to his feet and starts laying into the shoulder with vicious kicks. Styles avoids a head kick, so Bryan kicks him in the arm. Styles rolls through for a Calf Crusher, but Bryan gets out and kicks him in the head for a near fall. Bryan grabs the arm and stomps the face. Bryan goes to the top rope, but Styles punches him. Styles head-butts away at him, but Bryan slides under him and crotches him. Bryan goes for a super back suplex, but Styles flips through! Styles hits a nasty slam before applying the Calf Crusher! Styles really cinches it in, causing Bryan to scream in pain. Styles turns it into a pin, but Bryan kicks out. They each attempt a backslide, but neither can get any leverage. Bryan elbows him and tries again, but Styles fights it. Styles gets out and hits a brainbuster for a near fall. Both men are down. Bryan drops him on the apron and kicks him in the arm. Styles soon knocks him back and goes for a springboard, but Bryan kicks him. Styles responds with an overhead kick, and they’re both down again.

All of a sudden, Rowan comes down to ringside. Rowan paces around and just stares. Bryan and Styles get to their feet. Styles kicks him in the hamstring to take him down. Styles ducks an enzuigiri, and the referee takes it. Styles hits the Styles Clash, and Rowan gets in the ring. Rowan grabs Styles and hits a chokeslam. The referee comes to while Bryan makes the cover. Bryan picks up the win.

Winner and still WWE Champion: Daniel Bryan

Daniel Bryan holds up the WWE Championship before motioning for Rowan to lift Styles up. Rowan holds Styles up for Bryan to hit the Busaiku Knee Kick. Bryan and Rowan then pose in the ring.

NXT will present Halftime Heat next Sunday. They show replays of the brawl that broke out after NXT TakeOver: Phoenix last night.

The bell rings, and Bálor immediately dropkicks Lesnar. Bálor punches and kicks away at Lesnar. Lesnar drops him on the apron, but Bálor kicks him twice. Bálor knocks him back and connects with a dropkick. Lesnar counters a Sling Blade into a belly-to-belly overhead suplex. Bálor rolls out of the ring. Lesnar goes outside and throws him into the LED apron and then the barricade. Lesnar then hits a belly-to-belly overhead suplex on the floor. Lesnar clears the commentary table and scoops Bálor up. Bálor slides off and drives the midsection into the corner of the table. Bálor does it again and gets in the ring to break the count. Lesnar is struggling to get up. Corey Graves calls attention to Lesnar’s bouts of diverticulitis. Bálor knees away at Lesnar getting in the ring, but Lesnar soon swats him back.

Lesnar hits some shoulder thrusts, and Bálor collapses to the mat. Lesnar tries to catch his breath and is still grabbing his midsection. Lesnar somehow hits a belly-to-belly overhead suplex, the third of this match. Lesnar hits a shoulder thrust before connecting with a fourth belly-to-belly overhead suplex. Lesnar goes for a shoulder thrust, but Bálor gets a knee up. Bálor then rocks him with a Sling Blade. Bálor charges, but Lesnar viciously clotheslines him down. Lesnar gets pumped up and kicks Lesnar. Lesnar then yells an expletive and grabs his midsection. Lesnar goes for a German Suplex, but he’s in too much pain. Lesnar tries for an F5, but Bálor counters into a DDT! Bálor then stomps away at the injured midsection of Lesnar. Lesnar gets out of the ring to recover, so Bálor hits a baseball slide. Bálor hits a summersault plancha. Bálor gets in the ring and hits a second summersault senton. Bálor then gets back in… and he hits a third summersault senton!

Bálor gets in the ring, and he takes Lesnar down. Bálor goes to the top rope and connects with the Coup de Grace! Bálor covers, but Lesnar kicks out at two… and Lesnar applies the Kimura Lock! Lesnar cinches it in, and Bálor has no choice but to submit!

Winner by Submission and still WWE Universal Champion: Brock Lesnar

Lesnar takes a few moments to compose himself and catch his breath. Lesnar then grabs Bálor and hits a German Suplex. Lesnar connects with three more and grabs the WWE Universal Championship. Lesnar then drops it and catches Bálor with an F5. Lesnar holds the title up and walks off with Paul Heyman.

JBL and Jerry “The King” Lawler are on commentary for the Men’s Royal Rumble.

Elias has drawn number one. Elias acknowledges that the deck is stacked against him, but everyone will soon learn that WWE stands for Walk With Elias. The crowd is red hot for him. Elias pokes fun at the Diamondbacks for not drawing the amount of people he did for the Royal Rumble. Elias goes to play a song…

…but “Double J” Jeff Jarrett interrupts to his old theme song. Jarrett comes out in his old early-90s outfit. Jarrett does his “J-E-Double F J-A-Double R-E-Double T” gimmick before asking, “Ain’t I great?” Elias says he gets interrupted almost all the time. At least he’s interrupted by someone who brings something to the table. Elias says he knows why Jarrett is out here. Jarrett is a Hall of Famer, while he’s a future Hall of Famer. Jarrett not only wants to Walk With Elias… he wants to sing with Elias. The crowd likes this. Jarrett asks if they want to hear a duet to kick off the Royal Rumble. The crowd apparently does. Elias agrees. Jarrett starts to spell out his last name, but Elias punches him down.

30-Man Royal Rumble Match

No. 1: Elias

No. 2: Jeff Jarrett

The bell rings, and the 2019 Men’s Royal Rumble has started. Elias stomps away at Jeff Jarrett. Jarrett punches back at him, but Elias reverses a whip and clotheslines him down. Elias grabs his guitar, and he smashes it on Jarrett’s back. Elias then easily eliminates him.

Jeff Jarrett has been eliminated.

No. 3: Shinsuke Nakamura

Nakamura quickly dropkicks Elias down, knees him in the midsection, and hits a spin kick to the face. Nakamura digs his boot into Elias’ face before charging into an elbow. Elias bounces him off the turnbuckle before twisting the arm. Elias walks on the top rope from one end to the other. Elias then clubs him and tries to clothesline him out of the ring, but Nakamura lands on the apron.

No. 4: Kurt Angle

Angle gives Elias and Nakamura a German Suplex each. Elias boots him, but Angle soon takes him down. Angle hits another German Suplex on Nakamura before stomping away at Elias. Angle dumps Elias over the top rope, but Elias hangs onto the apron. Elias fights back and chops Angle’s chest.

No. 5: Big E

Big E gives Nakamura a pair of belly-to-belly overhead suplexes followed by a belly-to-belly side suplex. Big E gyrates in the ring, hits the ropes, and hits a big splash. Big E dumps Nakamura over the top rope onto the apron. Angle then hits Big E with an Angle Slam. Nakamura quickly sends Angle shoulder-first into the ring post. Nakamura lays Angle over the top turnbuckle and knees him. Angle falls to the apron, and Nakamura knees him to the floor.

Kurt Angle has been eliminated.

No. 6: Johnny Gargano

The NXT North American Champion makes his entrance to a nice reception. Gargano gets in the ring and dropkick Elias back. Gargano hits a sloppy DDT to Big E. Elias puts Gargano on the apron, but Gargano takes him down with a slingshot spear. Gargano tries to eliminate Elias, but he hangs on.

No. 7: Jinder Mahal

Mahal gets in and slams Gargano. Mahal knees Big E in the face and kicks Elias down. Mahal scoops Gargano up, but Gargano slides off. Gargano throws him over the top rope and kicks him off the apron to eliminate him.

Jinder Mahal has been eliminated. 

Elias grabs Sunil Singh and gives him an atomic drop to get him out of the ring. Big E then pulls some pancakes out of his tights and rubs them in Samir Singh’s face. Big E then hits him with the Big Ending.

No. 8: Samoa Joe

Joe kicks Big E down and wipes out Nakamura. Joe clotheslines Elias in the corner and follows up with a snap kick. Joe puts Gargano in the corner, but Gargano sidesteps a splash. Gargano goes for a missile dropkick, but Joe casually walks out of the way. Joe then eliminates Big E from the Royal Rumble.

Big E has been eliminated.

No. 9: Curt Hawkins

Hawkins gets in the ring and looks at everyone fighting. Hawkins then leaves the ring through the middle ropes. Hawkins gets back in and clubs Joe. Hawkins then immediately leaves the ring under the bottom rope. Hawkins gets back in the ring again and stomps Gargano. Hawkins then punches Nakamura. Joe then grabs Hawkins and applies a Coquina Clutch. Elias attacks Joe from behind, and Hawkins leaves under the bottom rope. Hawkins goes under the ring. Hawkins has not been eliminated.

No. 10: Seth Rollins

Rollins hits Elias with a springboard clothesline before kicking Nakamura down. Rollins hits Gargano with a falcon arrow, gets to his feet, and superkicks Nakamura. Elias kicks Rollins, but Rollins soon drops him on the apron. Rollins counters a suplex, and Elias is holding the ring post to stay in. His hands are slipping, so Rollins slaps the hands to finally eliminate him.

Elias has been eliminated.

No. 11: Titus O’Neil

O’Neil VERY CAREFULLY runs down to the ring. O’Neil then notices Hawkins under the ring. O’Neil then goes under the ring to retrieve him. O’Neil gets Hawkins in the ring and charges, but Hawkins pulls the top rope down to eliminate him! Joe then eliminates Hawkins.

Titus O’Neil has been eliminated.

Curt Hawkins has been eliminated.

Rollins quickly tries to eliminate Joe, but Joe fights him off.

No. 12: Kofi Kingston

Kingston comes off the top rope with a diving elbow on Nakamura. Kingston attacks Joe, but Joe no sells it. Joe tries to send Kingston over the top rope, but he holds on.

No. 13: Mustafa Ali

Ali rolls in and hits Joe with a sit-out facebuster. Ali mocks Nakamura and sidesteps him. Nakamura goes to the top rope, so Ali kicks him off to the floor!

Shinsuke Nakamura has been eliminated.

Ali kicks away at Gargano and DDTs him. Joe then wipes out Ali with a suplex.

No. 14: Dean Ambrose

Ambrose and Rollins immediately get into a hockey fight. Ambrose throws Kingston over the top rope, but Kingston holds on. Ambrose knocks him off, but Kingston’s feet don’t touch. Kingston does a handstand and rolls himself to the stairs. Kingston then comes back with a diving DDT. Ambrose hits Gargano with Dirty Deeds and eliminates him.

Johnny Gargano has been eliminated.

No. 15: No Way Jose

Jose gets in the ring… and Joe immediately eliminates him.

No Way Jose has been eliminated.

No Way Jose simply dances off. Doesn’t care about squandering a chance at WrestleMania.

No. 16: Drew McIntyre

McIntyre gives No Way Jose a Glasgow Kiss and takes out the conga line. McIntyre gets in the ring and hits Rollins and Ambrose with Claymore Kicks. Joe and McIntyre come to blows. Joe hits the ropes, and McIntyre crushes him with a Claymore Kick.

No. 17: Xavier Woods

McIntyre throws Kingston out of the ring, and Woods catches him. They do a contortion to keep Kingston alive. Woods and Kingston get in the ring, and McIntyre clotheslines them both out of the ring to eliminate them!

Xavier Woods has been eliminated.

Kofi Kingston has been eliminated.

No. 18: Pete Dunne

Dunne catches Ali with a German Suplex before stomping the hands. Dunne flips through a back suplex from Joe and kicks him in the head. Dunne twists McIntyre’s hand and stomps the arm. Dunne then gives Ali a release suplex onto McIntyre. Dunne throws Ali over the top rope, but Ali holds on. Ambrose grabs Dunne to eliminate him, but Dunne fights him off.

No. 19: Andrade

Andrade boots and elbows Dunne. Andrade counters a pumphandle into a DDT. Andrade punches away at Ambrose in the corner. Ambrose fights back at him. Rollins and McIntyre are fighting it out in the corner.

No. 20: Apollo Crews

Crews dropkicks Ali and clotheslines Ambrose. Crews hits Dunne with a Samoan Drop. Crews punches Ambrose and tries to send him over the top rope. McIntyre clubs Rollins down. Rollins nearly eliminates McIntyre, but he wraps himself around the ropes to stay in it.

No. 21: Aleister Black

Black gets in the ring and strikes away at Dunne. Black then hits a springboard moonsault on Dunne and Rollins. Black chops McIntyre and nearly eliminates him. Black kicks Ali out of mid-air. Black then hits Ambrose with Black Mass, and Ambrose goes over the top rope! Black eliminated Ambrose!

Dean Ambrose has been eliminated.

No. 22: Shelton Benjamin

Benjamin punches away at Crews and kicks him down. Dunne throws Benjamin over the top rope, but he skins the back to get in. Benjamin hits Pay Dirt on Dunne. Joe grabs Benjamin, but he gets out. Joe grabs Ali and tries for a Coquina Clutch. Benjamin kicks Joe. Ali then eliminates Samoa Joe!

Samoa Joe has been eliminated. 

Samoa Joe is absolutely furious at ringside. Benjamin puts Ali on the apron.

No. 23: Baron Corbin

Corbin comes in and does his outside and inside clothesline on Rollins. Corbin then hits Ali with the Deep Six. Corbin goes to eliminate Ali, but he holds on. Corbin then eliminates Crews.

Apollo Crews has been eliminated.

McIntyre and Black start to duke it out in the ring.

No. 24: Jeff Hardy

Hardy hits Black with a double leg drop to the midsection. Hardy hits Benjamin with a Twist of Fate before hitting a Whisper in the Wind on some of the competitors. Dunne grabs Black’s hand and manipulates the digits. Black manages to kick him down and pops his finger back into place. Corbin then eliminates Black.

Aleister Black has been eliminated.

Corbin tries to eliminate Dunne, but he twists his fingers. McIntyre hits a Claymore Kick on Dunne and eliminates him.

Pete Dunne has been eliminated.

No. 25: Rey Mysterio

Corbin immediately gives Mysterio a backbreaker. Andrade then powerbombs Mysterio down. Corbin nearly eliminates Rollins.

No. 26: Bobby Lashley

The WWE Intercontinental Champion gets in the ring and gives Rollins a belly-to-belly overhead suplex. Lashley charges, but Rollins pulls the top rope down. Rollins then eliminates him!

Bobby Lashley has been eliminated.

Lashley is furious. Lashley pulls Rollins out of the ring and hits a belly-to-belly overhead suplex on the floor. Lio Rush clears the table, and Lashley gives Rollins a NASTY spinebuster through the commentary table!

No. 27: Braun Strowman

Strowman grabs Corbin, and they brawl. Strowman punches him and clotheslines him over the top rope to eliminate him.

Baron Corbin has been eliminated.

Strowman concentrates on Benjamin and eliminates him.

Shelton Benjamin has been eliminated.

Strowman attacks Jeff Hardy in the corner and head-butts him down. Mysterio nearly eliminates Andrade. Strowman then eliminates Hardy.

Jeff Hardy has been eliminated.

No. 28: Dolph Ziggler

Ziggler comes in and superkicks McIntyre… and then he eliminates McIntyre!

Drew McIntyre has been eliminated. 

In the ring, Andrade gives Mysterio a vicious wheelbarrow facebuster.

No. 29: Randy Orton

Strowman and Orton go face-to-face. Strowman shoves off an RKO and hits a Powerslam. Strowman then grabs Andrade and Ali doing a superplex, getting them in the electric chair, and Mysterio hits a cross-body on them all! Wow! Mysterio then sidesteps Strowman, causing him to hit the ring post shoulder-first.

No. 30: R-Truth

R-Truth is doing his entrance when Nia Jax attacks him! She sends him into the LED wall and throws him down. Jax then marches down to the ring, apparently taking R-Truth’s spot. Jax avalanches Ziggler and clotheslines Andrade. Jax then big boots Mysterio down and elbow drops him. Jax turns and sees Ali, who looks confused. Jax head-butts him before giving him a Samoan Drop over the top rope.

Mustafa Ali has been eliminated.

Jax turns and sees Orton in RKO position. Orton goes for an RKO, but Jax pushes him off. Jax shoulder blocks Orton down. Jax scoops Mysterio up, but Ziggler superkicks her. Mysterio dropkicks her into position and hits Jax with a 619. Orton then hits Jax with an RKO! Orton and Mysterio team up to dump her over the top rope, but she stays on the apron. Mysterio then dropkicks her off.

Nia Jax has been eliminated.

Orton hits Mysterio with an RKO and throws him over the top rope. Andrade then eliminates Orton.

Rey Mysterio has been eliminated.

Randy Orton has been eliminated.

Ziggler and Andrade are the only ones in the ring. Rollins and Strowman are also in this. This is the final four. Andrade and Ziggler trade head-butts and punches. Strowman runs in and clotheslines them both down. Strowman avalanches Andrade and Ziggler in the corner. Strowman goes outside the ring and runs over Rollins with a shoulder block. Strowman throws Rollins into the ring and gets in. Strowman stares at Rollins, but Rollins slides off. Ziggler superkicks Strowman, and Andrade hits Strowman with double knees. Ziggler hits a sort of Zig-Zag on Strowman. Finally, Rollins catches Strowman with a frog splash. Rollins, Andrade, and Ziggler team up. Strowman then rushes Andrade and eliminates him.

Andrade has been eliminated.

Strowman knocks Rollins and Ziggler over the top rope, but they hold on. Strowman then knocks Ziggler off.

Dolph Ziggler has been eliminated.

Rollins dumps Strowman over the top rope, but he holds on somehow. Rollins tries to knock him off, but Strowman fights back and hits a chokeslam. Strowman goes for a Powerslam to eliminate Rollins, but Rollins holds on. Rollins pulls him over the rope onto the apron. Rollins kicks Strowman and sidesteps him to put him into the ring post. Rollins superkicks him and gives him a Stomp on the apron to win the 2019 Men’s Royal Rumble.

Winner: Seth Rollins
