Early on in the match, Holly uses a chair on X-Pac and is disqualified. Road Dogg comes out to help up X-Pac

 

 

Big Show vs. Kane
First Round Match for King of the Ring
Referee: Jim Korderas

The Big Show hit the referee with the big boot by accident. Hardcore Holly comes out with a chair, but is Chokeslammed by Kane's Later on Kane uses the chair on The Big Show and gets the win.

 

 

Billy Gunn vs. Ken Shamrock
First Round Match for King of the Ring
Referee: Teddy Long

Earlier on Heat, Ken Shamrock was beaten up by Steve Blackman. During the match, the referee stops the match due to Ken's pain. Billy Gunn advances.

 

 

Road Dogg vs. Chyna with Triple H
First Round Match for King of the Ring
Referee: Earl Hebner

During the match, Triple H attacks the Road Dogg. Chyna falls onto the referee to knock him out. Triple H hits the Road Dogg with a chair and puts Chyna on top of him, but after the referee wakes up, he gets his shoulder up. Shawn Michaels comes out and stops Triple H from any more interfering. Chyna Low Blows the Road Dogg, but she gets hurt--he was wearing a metal cup! The Road Dogg does a Pump Handle Slam and gets the win!

 

 

Edge & Christian vs. The Hardy Boyz with Michael Hayes
Number One Contenders Match
Referee: Tim White

Gangrel accidentally spews his liquid in the face of Edge, allowing Jeff to pin him after a Diamond Cutter. The Hardy Boyz are the number one contender for the tag team belts.

 

 

Vince McMahon comes out. He talks about Shane's match against Ken Shamrock and how his son is injured, so the match won't take place. Shawn Michaels comes out and says that he will get a replacement to team with him in the main event.

 

 

Billy Gunn vs. Kane
Semi Finals for the King of the Ring
Referee: Teddy Long

Billy Gunn gets a chair. The Big Show comes out and hits Kane with the chair accidentally. Billy Gunn pins him for the win.

 

 

X-Pac vs. Road Dogg
Semi Finals for the King of the Ring
Referee: Jim Korderas

After the Road Dogg missed a Bronco Buster, he does the X-Factor to win.

 

 

The Rock vs. The Undertaker (WWF Champion) with Paul Bearer
Referee: Mike Chioda

The Undertaker hit the referee right away. Another ref comes out to count the Rock after he does a Rock Bottom, but Paul Bearer pulls him out of the ring. The two fight to the entrance way. In the ring, the Rock spits water in the face of the champion. Paul Bearer uses his shoe on the Rock. The Rock accidentally hits the referee. The Rock does a People's Elbow, but the Undertaker gets up. He Low Blows the Rock. Paul Bearer gives the Undertaker a rag soaked in Ether, but the Rock gets it and uses it on the champion. Triple H comes out and Pedigrees the Rock, and the Undertaker manages a Tombstone for the win to remain champion.

 

 

X-Pac vs. Billy Gunn
King of the Ring Final
Referee: Tim White

Billy Gunn does a Fame-ass-er off the middle rope to pin X-Pac. Billy Gunn is the 1999 King of the Ring.

 

 

Vince McMahon and a Partner vs. Steve Austin
Ladder Match for 100% Control of the WWF
Referee: Earl Hebner

Vince McMahon chooses Steve Blackman as his partner, but on the screens GTV is shown. Shane and the Mean Street Posse are in the back--Shane is OK after (pretending) to be so hurt he couldn't wrestle! Shawn Michaels replaces Blackman with Shane. During the match, they fight into the entranceway, and all the ladders that were set up fell on the McMahons. As Austin goes to get the briefcase, it raises up! Later on Austin holds onto the ladder, so Vince tries to throw up Shane to get it, and then Shane gets on Vince's shoulders, but they are too low. After Vince and Austin are on the ladder, Shane knocks it over and climbs up to get the briefcase and control of the WWF!
