WWE Legend John Cena, the host of the WWE Payback event, makes his
entrance to a massive reaction. Cena gets in the ring, and the ring
announcer announces him as “the greatest of all time.” Cena welcomes
Pittsburgh to Payback and puts over the first match. In 20 years,
he’s done a lot of things. He’s been the first match, the last
match, the champ, the challenger, a guest, a fan, a doctor, and a
Prototype, but he’s never been a host. Cena wasn’t going to pass up
being here tonight. His job as a host is to make tonight special.
There’s no better way to make the night special than to be the
Special Guest Referee for a match he’s had his eye on for a while:
LA Knight versus The Miz!
The Miz makes his way to the ring. Miz is not happy. He would expect
this from LA Knight, but not John Cena. Miz says Cena is pandering
to the audience. They may say Cena is the greatest of all time, but
Miz thinks he sucks as a host. Cena says this is his first time as a
host, while Miz has a lot of experience. Does Miz have any advice?

he’s asked to be a merman in “Barbie,” he should say no. Cena says

WrestleMania host of all time. Miz got involved and had two matches.

dresses like a Telletubby. Cena says he needs to take control… like
being the Special Guest Referee for Miz’s match!

mouths should go shut. Miz says Cena doesn’t even have a referee
shirt, but someone immediately hands one to Cena. Cena makes himself
