J.R., Tony and Excalibur run down tonight’s card and then we cut to a video package highlighting The Young Bucks and Private Party. Clips of their matches along with them talking about their careers also run during the video package. While The Young Bucks say that they believe they’ve been the best tag team of the last decade, Private Party acknowledges they are probably the least known team in the tournament and they feel a sense of needing to prove themselves.
Winners: Private Party via pinfall (rollup)

Back from the break, Chris Jericho leads his band of misfits – Ortiz and
Santana, Sammy Guevara and Jake Hager – own to the ring.

he picks up the microphone. Jericho says that AEW took the world by storm
and says that it was the biggest premiere in TNT history and it’s all
because of him. Hager is standing in the back and just staring ahead stone
faced.
“We are next, we are now,” Jericho says of his group. “Let me explain who
we are and what we are about.”
Jericho calls Guevara a “sexy, Spanish God” and calls him one of the
greatest performers he’s ever seen at his age. Jericho says Guevara is on
his “list.” Jericho says that Santana and Ortiz are dirtier and nastier
than they have ever been and that he personally recruited them to AEW
because of that. “That’s why they made my list, Viva la Raza,” he says as
an “Eddie” chant erupts.
Jericho says that Hager is not just a former World Champion but he is the
toughest and most feared MMA fighter in the world. The fans chant “We the
people” but Jericho says that sucks and it’s dead and buried and it was a
“stupid idea from bad creative and all that is gone.” Jericho said that
Hager will fight anyone from any place.
“This is my inner circle… WE ARE THE INNER CIRCLE, baby!,” Jericho names
his group. Jericho says that no matter who thinks they are in charge in
AEW, THEY are in charge now. Jericho cuts a promo on Cody and says that he
was born with a silver spoon in his mouth and he hates his family. Jericho
says he didn’t like Dusty and he doesn’t like Dustin either.
“I’m going to beat the ever loving shit out you,” Jericho says of Cody
Rhodes. “Then we’re going to walk the streets of Baltimore and have a
little bit of the bubbly in celebration! We are The Inner Circle!”
