A video package hyping up Double or Nothing opens up this week’s
Dynamite.
A limousine is shown arriving and the Inner Circle exits it as Alex
Marvez approaches them. Chris Jericho says if everyone thought what
they did to Vanguard 1 last week was bad wait until you see what
they do to The Elite tonight.
Brodie Lee brings out The Dark Order and starts to cut a promo
before stopping and screaming at 10 to take a knee while he speaks.
Lee says that he understands that there might be a disconnection
between he and the viewers at home because he being an elite athlete
in his prime can’t relate with losers at home. Lee says that isn’t
true though because he bleeds, sweats and breathes like everyone
else. He says that he is not a God but is a man. Lee says he is a
man that has come into possession with a very special “piece” as he
looks at the AEW Title.
Lee says that the Dark Order are the lion’s of AEW and his results
speak for themselves pointing at the title. He says that he has to
win this Saturday not only to satisfy his hunger and desire but to
also pay off the loyalty and love of his group. Lee says he has
known that 10 was special and he picked him and now he has his
moment to shine. He refers to him as a “High Knight of the Dark
Order” and instructs him to hurt Jon Moxley.
“Death Rider” Jon Moxley (10-0) vs. 10 (0-0) w/Brodie Lee & The
Dark Order
This is 10’s in-ring debut in AEW. He has wrestled as Preston Vance
and Cody Vance for a number of years in the Southeast. Moxley
destroys 10 with a Flying Knee as he comes into the ring and then
hits a Arm and Leg Trap T-Bone Suplex.
Moxley hits a Release Vertical Suplex and then just blatantly stomps
him down in the corner. 10 is able to catch Moxley with a Pump Kick
sending Moxley crashing to the floor on the outside. He then tosses
Moxley around ringside and slamming him into the barricade and ring
apron.
Back in the ring, 10 catches Moxley with a Diamond Cutter for a
nearfall. Moxley comes back with a series of chops but then walks
right into a Spinebuster from 10. He goes for a DVD but Moxley
counters into the Paradigm Shift. Moxley picks 10 up and hits a
Spike Piledriver! Moxley talks trash into the camera – directed at
Lee – and then hits a second Paradigm Shift for the pin.
Winner: Moxley via pinfall (Paradigm Shift)
Lee tosses chairs in the ring and wraps one of them around 10’s arm.
Moxley says Lee is trying to punk him out and instead of chasing him
around backstage he’s going to give him 10 seconds to bring his
title back or he will break 10’s arm.
Lee appears on the big screen and says that Moxley does not call the
shots. He says that Moxley has made his bed and on Saturday he will
put Moxley to sleep in it. He says this was business but Moxley has
made it personal. Lee then leaves the building saying sometimes
sacrifices have to be made.

nose and Stunt gets pissed and slaps him and then kicks him in the
leg. Stunt hits the ropes but runs into a nasty Lariat.
MJF hangs Stunt up in the ropes and chokes him and then Wardlow does
the same as MJF distracts the referee. MJF uses Stunt’s hair to toss
him clear across the ring before lifting him up to the top rope. MJF
goes for a Superplex but Marko bites him and knocks MJF off the top.

him into the ring steps.

midair. MJF hits a Shoulderbreaker and locks in the Salt of the
Earth for the submission.
Winner: MJF via submission (Salt of the Earth)
MJF taunts Marko further saying that he lasted longer than anyone
expected. He said that he thought about giving him a reward by
letting one of his “rats” in Jacksonville give him a kiss but no one
would ever kiss him. So, instead he decided to let him kiss his ring
and then punches him with the big AEW ring on his hand. Luchasaurus
and Jungle Boy hit the ring and chase Wardlow and MJF off.

Jake Roberts and Arn Anderson make their way out to sit down in the
ring with Tony Schiavone for a “face off.” Roberts says it’s surreal
to sit across the table from Anderson and says that he always
thought about the fact that he and Arn never faced off against each
other in the ring. “People have dreams and people have nightmares
but everyone knows those aren’t real,” Roberts says. “Lance Archer
is real and he has destroyed everyone that has been put in front of
him.”
Roberts says that Cody has done everything to duck Archer but now he
has to come face-to-face with the truth and that truth is that
Archer is a “mean son of a bitch” that is going to rip his heart
out. Roberts asks Arn if he used his weekend pass from the Nursing
Home tonight.
Arn agrees that this is surreal for him too and says that he and
Roberts was a dream match that fans always wanted to see. He says he
has serious goosebumps and says that if either of them told you that
a piss ant could pull a train then you would hook it up because they
told it like it is. Arn says that Roberts permeated evil and people
were terrified of him but he realized way back in the day that all
the stuff he did was a distraction but he had evil in his heart.
Roberts says that he’s been to hell and back so one more trip with
Arn wouldn’t be so bad and that anytime, anyplace if he wants to get
his ass kicked he will do it for him. Anderson talks about Mike
Tyson and says that word Tyson is going to have free reign to hang
around ringside and he wonders if Roberts will attempt to throw his
“stupid snake” on Tyson.
Roberts says whatever he throws at Tyson would take him down but
Archer gets first shot because he wants to knock him out for fun.
Roberts says he was hoping that bimbo Brandi would present the belt
because he would like to “bump into her” again. Anderson says that
Cody isn’t interested in winning title because he wants a pay raise
or admiration from the fan, he has to win it. He says he isn’t just
Dusty Rhodes’ son, he is a leader of AEW that has turned the
business on its head in a year.
Anderson says that he is a vicious prick and the only reason he
doesn’t come over the table at Roberts after he threatened him was
because he had one more thing to say. Anderson says that he heard
Roberts was doing DDP Yoga and that’s good because he wants him to
be good and limber when he Spinebusts his ass through the ring.
Roberts gets pissed and flips the table to go after Arn until
referee’s run out to separate the two grandpas.

eventually comes to violence in life. Moxley says it only gets hurt
from here and it’s going to get pretty bad at Double or Nothing.

have lost his match, whatever power he thinks he has and all he will
have left is a bunch of “creepy dudes in gimp masks” to repair his
shattered ego.
