Dynamite opens with Chris Jericho coming out and joining the
commentary team.
World Title Eliminator
Penta el Cero M & Eddie Kingston w/Alex Abrahantes vs. The Young
Bucks w/Brandon Cutler
If Penta and Kingston win then they will receive a shot at the tag
titles. The Bucks are sporting new porn star mustaches. Kingston and
Penta jump the Bucks and Kingston gets a quick nearfall on Matt and
then holds him so Penta can kick his face in. Kingston gets another
nearfall and holds Matt as Penta dives off the top with a Diving
Dropkick to Matt’s nuts.
Penta tags in and taunts Matt as he continues to kick him. He sets
up for the Fear Factor but Matt forces Penta into the heel corner
and tags Nick. Nick and Matt sandwich Penta in the corner and then
Matt hits a Cannonball Senton as Nick kicks Penta at the same time.
Nick chokes Penta in the ropes and the Bucks hit a Double Back Elbow
followed by a Double Fist Drop.
The Bucks take turns beating on Penta as they utilize quick tags but
Penta manages to slide to the outside and avoid a charging Matt
before hitting a Tilt-A-Whirl Backbreaker and then a Diving Cross
Body off the top onto Nick. Kignston tags in and lays out the Bucks
with clotheslines. Kingston hits a series of Splashes on The Bucks
and then a Fisherman Suplex on Matt for two.
Kingston sets up for a Roaring Elbow but Nick pulls him out only to
eat an Exploder from Kingston. Matt kicks Kingston as he was
distracted by his brother. Nick hits a Splash off the apron as Matt
hits a Standing Moonsault on him on the outside at the same time.
Back in the ring, the Bucks work Kingston over in their corner.
Kingston fights his way out of the corner with chops and backhands
but the Bucks take him out with kicks and a Flying Knee. The Bucks
knock Penta off the apron and go back to work on Kingston. The Bucks
set up for a double team move but Kingston shoves Matt into Nick
crotching him on the top. Kinston headbutts Nick repeatedly and caps
it off with a Superplex.
Kingston tags Penta and he is a house afire with kicks and chops to
the Bucks. Peant leapfrogs Nick and rolls him up and through into a
Tornado DDT to Matt followed by a Sling Blade to Nick and a wild
Code Red on Nick! 1…2…NO Nick kicks out and I think the referee may
have botched that. It looked like he got the three.
Penta sets up for the Fear Factor but Matt catapults him into a kick
from Nick and then a Diving Rana. Kingston hits a Release German
Suplex followed by a Backstabber from Penta for another close
nearfall. Matt tosses Kingston onto the ramp and then dives off the
top with a Plancha.
Penta and Nick exchange forearms and kicks and then Superkicks.
Penta blocks a Superkick and goes for a German Suplex but Nick holds
the referee and low blows Penta. The Bucks hit the LB Driver, the
Lucha Brothers’ finisher! 1…2…NO Kingston breaks it up!
The Good Brothers have walked out as Kingston slaps the piss out of
the Bucks. Kingston hits an Exploder on Nick and attempts a Backfist
to the Future but eats a Superkick from Matt and then one from Nick.
The Bucks attempt a to charge at Penta but he backdrops Nick to the
floor. Good Brothers get on the apron to distract the referee as
Cutler tries to spray his spray in Penta’s face only for Penta to
pull Matt into it. Kazarian runs out and destroys Cutler! Penta hits
a dive onto the Good Brothers and then the Fear Factor on Matt!

Christian Cage talks to Jungle Boy backstage and says that he is
proud of him for his performance last week. He says Jungle Boy can
take something from his loss and be better than he ever was.
Christian says he believes Jungle Boy will be champion one day and
says tonight is also a big night for him because he can become the
first AEW wrestler to reach 50 wins.
Luchasaurus and Marko Stunt come in and Lucha thanks Christian for
having Jungle Boy’s back. Luchasaurus says he now has Christian back
and Christian makes a lame joke about being a quarter dinosaur on
his mom’s side.
—-COMMERCIAL BREAK—-
Tony Schiavone interviews Ethan Page in the ring and asks him why
chose to challenge Darby Allin to a Coffin Match. Page says what
he’s been doing to Allin hasn’t been enough because his goal is not
to beat him, it’s to exterminate him. He says he has tried to
cripple Allin but he just keeps coming back. Page says he doesn’t
just want to cripple him physically, the Coffin Match will also
cripple him mentally. Page says that every time Darby Allin ever
even thinks about doing a Coffin Drop he will think about Page
shutting him in one.
Sting walks out dragging a coffin behind him. A video plays on the
screen of Allin burning a coffin and then Sting pulls a sheet off
the coffin he was dragging and Allin pops out from it. Allin jumps
on Page and Sting hits a Scorpion Death Drop on Scorpio Sky. Allin
tries to gauge at Page’s eyes and Page retreats as security holds
him back.
Page screams that Allin knows he can’t beat Page so he tried to hurt
him, so the match is off. Page says he wants it on paper with Allin
agreeing to not touch him until their match, which will be at Fyter
Fest if Allin behaves.
Jack Evans vs. Jungle Boy w/Jurassic Express
Matt Hardy says that Jungle Boy has to pay for crossing “Big Money
Matt.” Jungle Boy and Evans chain wrestle to start off and Evans
turns an Armdrag into a Headscissors only for Jungle Boy to come
right back with a side headlock. Evans escapes with another
headscissors and tries to speed things up again but my Dish goes
out.
Evans attempts a Dragon Superplex off the top but Jungle Boy lands
on his feet and Evans gets hung up in the ropes. Jungle Boy hits a
Hanging Dropkick and locks Evans in the Snare Trap for the
submission.
Winner: Jungle Boy via submission (Snare Trap)
The HFO comes out but Christian and Jurassic Express jump them.
Christian hits a Reverse DDT on Hardy and rips his jacket off him
and chokes him with it.
MJF cuts a promo on Sammy Guevara backstage and says that he has
outclassed Chris Jericho for months and you would think that a
veteran like Jericho would know when to call it quits. He says
instead of that, now Jericho has turned AEW into his own version of
Luney Toons and is having Guevara do his dirty work for him. MJF
says that Jericho was once a wrestling genius but now he’s just a
joke. MJF asks Jericho how low he is willing to go and says that
next week he will let Jericho know his stipulations to allow Jericho
to have one final match.
MJF says a lot of people have wanted to see and Guevara face each
other for a long time and it’s because people want to know who the
future of wrestling. MJF says that people will say Sammy is the
future of wrestling after tonight because MJF is the now.
Jericho screams that he is lower than a snake’s belly and that it
doesn’t matter what stipulations MJF wants.

Backstage, Andrade el Idolo cuts a promo and says he wants to make
an example out of “Matt Something” (Sydal) for interrupting him last
week. He challenges Sydal for a match next week.
Schiavone welcomes Kenny Omega to the ring and Omega literally asks
the questions for Schiavone, the questions he wants Tony to ask.
Omega says he woke up feeling like a king today after realizing
during his reign he has defeated the toughest guy, the greatest high
flyer, the most charismatic act, the greatest athlete and the most
promising young wrestle ring AEW has to offer.
Dish has gone out again, we are having really bad weather. The Dark
Order came out and Evil Uno says Omega still has challengers left.
Omega mocks The Dark Order and says none of them are ranked high
enough to face him but Uno says they have a friend who he is. Page
says that if he is talking about who he thinks he’s talking about
(Page) then he wouldn’t appreciate him speaking for him and he
doesn’t have the guts to face Omega.
—-COMMERCIAL BREAK—-
TNT Championship
“The Best Man” Miro (c) vs. Brian Pillman Jr.
Pillman attacks Miro at the bell but Miro shrugs him off and throws
him into the corner. Pillman answers with more slaps but Miro lifts
him up and drops him with a Samoan Drop. Miro puts the boots to
Pillman and starts to work over his back. Miro hits a series of
roundhouse kicks and a Snap Suplex. Miro hits a Fall Away Slam and
Pillman rolls to the outside.
—-COMMERCIAL BREAK—-
Miro continues to dominate Pillman coming out of the break but
Pillman manages to catch a taunting Miro with a Jawbreaker onto the
top rope. Pillman hits a Springboard Dropkick knocking Miro off the
apron and then hits a Flying Dropkick through the ropes onto Miro on
the floor. Pillman slams Miro into the barricade and then back in
the ring hits a Springboard Flying Clothesline for one.
Pillman goes for another Springboard Move and Miro goes for a
Superkick but Pillman saw it coming and landed on his feet and hits
a series of Superkicks. Pillman goes for a third one but Miro blocks
it and hits a Spinning Roundhouse. Miro hits a Jumping Thrust Kick
and locks in the Accolade. Pillman tries to fight out but Miro drops
back onto his back and locks in a Rear Naked Choke and Pillman
passes out.
Winner & STILL TNT Champ: Miro via KO (Rear Naked Choke)
Page bursts into the Dark Order’s locker room and is pissed at them
for making a challenge for him. Page asks if they think he is scared
of Omega and they say no but Omega says they think he may be scared
of failing. They say they believe in Page and Alex Reynolds tells
Page he has waited long enough and it’s his time now.
—-COMMERCIAL BREAK—-
Taz says Team Taz is not in complete form right now because of the
toxic relationship between Brian Cage and Ricky Starks. He says it
is taking a toll on Tem Taz. Taz says on July 14, Cage will defend
the FTW Title against Ricky Starks. Taz says sometimes family
members need to fight to clear things up.
Vickie Guerrero & Nyla Rose vs. Dr. Britt Baker & Rebel
Vickie has “excuse me” on the ass of her tights. Rebel shoves Vickie
and Vickie slaps her causing Baker to blindside Vickie. Rose goes
after Baker but Baker bails out of the ring and Rebel jumps on
Rose’s back with a Sleeper. Rose Snapmares Rebel and puts the boots
to her. Rose hits a Splash and Rebel tries to tag out but Baker
drops off the apron.
Rose hits a clothesline on Rebel and a Scoop Slam followed by a Leg
Drop. Rose hits another Scoop Slam and tags Vickie. Vickie does the
Eddie Guerrero shimmy and climbs up top but Rebel cuts her off and
slams her.
—-COMMERCIAL BREAK—-
Rebel rolls Rose up for two and Baker tags in finally. Baker hits a
Sling Blade and attempts a Suplex but Rose blocks it and goes for
the Beast Bomb. Baker escapes it and hits a Superkick followed by a
Jumping Thrust Kick. Baker sets up for the Lockjaw but Rose catches
her and hits a Chokeslam. Rose hangs Baker up in the ropes and hits
the Guillotine Knee Drop! 1…2…NO Rebel breaks it up!
Rose throws Rebel to the side and tags Vickie. Rose goes up top but
Baker kicks Vickie into Rose and puts Vickie in the Lockjaw for the
submission.
Winners: Baker & Rebel via submission (Lockjaw)
After the match, Rose hits a Beast Bomb on Baker and then hits a
Beast Bomb off the apron through a table on Baker.
Backstage, Hager and PNP are pissed and ranting about The Pinnacle.
Hager says Wardlow almost had his respect for coming into his world
and fighting him but then he had “that bitch” Spears hit him with a
chair and then they attacked Dean Malneko. Santana says FTR finally
got their hands dirty, so now they have to get their hands even
dirtier. Santana says Konnan will be in their corner next week.
—-COMMERCIAL BREAK—-
MJF vs. Sammy Guevara
This is MJF’s first singles match on Dynamite since last December.
MJF taunts Sammy with the Flair strut and then Sammy flips over MJF
and does the same strut. MJF backflips over a charging MJF but eats
a dropkick. MJF ducks under a clothesline and then MJF flips Sammy
and punches him in the throat.
MJF bounces off the ropes but eats a Flying Knee from Sammy. Sammy
goes for the GTH but MJF blocks it and hits a Sidelock Takeover. The
two trade chain holds and a series of nearfalls. The sequence ends
with both men’s shoulders on the mat and both men kicking out. They
stare each other down and MJF offers a handshake but Sammy punches
him in the face.
Sammy beats on MJF in the corner but as the referee tries to
separate them MJF pokes him in the eyes. Sammy takes MJF down anyway
and goes up top for a 630 but MJF rolls out to the floor. Sammy sets
up for a dive but MJF rolls back in the ring. Sammy hits a Double
Spring Cutter! 1…2…NO MJF kicks out! MJF rolls onto the apron but
Sammy quickly knocks him off only for MJF to pull him out and sweep
his legs out from under him. MJF slams Sammy into the barricade.
—-COMMERCIAL BREAK—-
Sammy hits a series of strikes and tosses MJF to the floor. Sammy
goes for a dive but MJF uses the ring skirt to trap Sammy and puts
the boots to him. MJF attempts a Piledriver but Sammy backdrops MJF
onto the floor. Back in the ring, Sammy goes for a Springboard
Senton but MJF counters into a Liger Bomb for two.
MJF lifts Sammy up to the top rope and goes for a Superplex but
Sammy blocks it and hits a Spanish Fly! Sammy hits a series of
clotheslines and then a Leaping Enziguri. Sammy hits a Springboard
Flying Back Kick and a clothesline that sends MJF to the floor.
Sammy hits a Tornillo over the top onto MJF on the floor. Sammy
rolls MJF back in and hits a Springboard Cuban Destroyer! 1…2…NO MJF
kicks out!
Sammy charges into an elbow from MJF and then MJF hits a Ghetto
Stomp off the top onto the arm of Sammy. MJF goes for the Salt of
the Earth but Sammy counters into a rollup for two. MJF snaps
Sammy’s head off the top rope and then goes to the floor and grabs a
chair. Sammy hits a Diving Dropkick through the ropes sending the
chair into MJF’s face! “I was hoping it would knock his ass right
out,” Schiavone says.
MJF falls over the guardrail into the crowd and Sammy says that
isn’t far enough! Sammy hits a Somersault Plancha off the top onto
MJF in the crowd! Sammy drags MJF into the ring and goes for the 630
Splash but MJF crotches him on the top rope. MJF hits a damn
Tombstone Piledriver off the top rope! 1…2…NO Sammy kicks out!
MJF is selling a knee injury after that landing. MJF goes to pick
Sammy up but collapses and grabs his knee and starts screaming. MJF
goes to pick Sammy up again but again his knee gives out. As MJF
goes to pick up again, Sammy rolls MJF up with an Inside Cradle for
a nearfall. MJF hits a chop block on Sammy’s knee and then goes for
the Heat Seeker but Sammy blocks it and MJF lands on his knee again.
Sammy goes for a Slinghsot Sunset Flip but MJF blocks it and Sammy
counters into a nearfall anyway.
Sammy kicks MJF in the face repeatedly and hits the GTH! 1…2…NO
MJF’s foot was caught in the ropes! Sammy can’t believe it but goes
up top anyway. MJF begs Sammy not to do it but Sammy does a 630 onto
MJF’s knees! 1…2…NO MJF still kicks out!
Shawn Spears walks down to the ring and Jericho was about to
intercept him but Wardlow attacks him from behind. Wardlow throws
Jericho off the stage and Spears brains Sammy with a chair as the
referee was checking on Jericho. MJF rolls over and covers Sammy for
the pin.
Winner: MJF via pinfall
