Vickie Guerrero is in her office to kick off RAW. She puts over the prestige of
the World Championships. Tonight a historic match will take place, as John Cena
will battle Alberto Del Rio tonight in a Champion vs. Champion match.
Daniel Bryan’s music hits and he pumps the crowd up as the join in with his
chants of yes. Bryan is sporting a new shirt that says, ‘Respect the Beard’.
Bryan slides into the ring and grabs a microphone. There is a ladder set up in
the ring and the Money in the Bank briefcase hangs from the ceiling.
Bryan states that an important question was answered last week. Bryan has proven
that he is not the weak link. Bryan says that the question now is whether or not
he can ride this wave of success and win the Money in the Bank match. He says he
wishes that there were a three-letter word that could answer that question. The
crowd chants yes. Bryan says he wants to be WWE Champion and follow in the
footsteps of the great stars of the past.
Bryan reminds the audience that he has won the Money in the Bank match before
and it is high time for history to repeat itself. He proclaims that he will be
Champion.
Sheamus comes out and reminds Bryan that he defeated him for the Title in 18
seconds. Sheamus says that maybe history should repeat itself. Bryan asks if he
can call 1-800-FELLA and have Sheamus kick his own face off.
Randy walks down to the ring with a microphone and says that it has been nearly
two years since he was last the Champion. Orton is not just hungry he is
starving. Orton claims that he needs the Title. Daniel points out that he made
Orton tap out just last week on RAW. Sheamus looks amused as Orton breathes for
a moment. Orton says he will let slide but if Bryan mentions it again he will
drop him. Orton says that he is desperate so at Money in the Bank no one will be
safe.
Kane’s fire erupts and he walks out onto the entrance ramp with a mic. Kane says
he agrees that no one is safe. Kane says that no one in the history of the WWE
has been more ruthless than Kane when the WWE Championship is involved. Kane
claims that he has no problems using such tactics on even his friends.
Bryan thinks that Kane is still upset about not being able to beat Randy Orton
on Smackdown. Kane retorts that he is excited for the match because it will be
everyman for himself. Bryan and Kane get into an argument over who will be
Champion.
Christian comes out and interrupts. He reminds the participants that he has had
more experience and success in ladder matches than anyone in the history of the
WWE. Despite being gone for a decent chunk of time he is interested in one more
match for the WWE Championship. Christian says he isn’t the scariest, strongest
or hairiest guy in the match, but he is without a doubt the best.
CM Punk comes out and says that he promised himself that he wouldn’t get
involved in this quarrel. However he couldn’t go sit back as Christian claimed
to be the best. Punk is the only competitor who can say that he has won it
twice. Punk doesn’t want anyone to misunderstand what he is saying. Punk says
that bottom-line is no one can touch him in the ring. No matter how strong the
competition is he will come out on top.
Punk turns to the camera and addresses Rob Van Dam. Punk puts him over for a
moment, and then runs down the other competitors. Bryan yells enough and says
that he is tired of this. He says he will make Punk tap faster than Orton did
last week. Kane stands between Bryan and Orton to protect his former partner.
Bryan says he doesn’t need Kane’s help and ends up pushing him into an RKO. The
rest of the competitors look around the ring but decide not to attack.
