Ric Flair is the first Superstar to hit the RAW screen in 2014. Flair makes
his way down to the ring wearing a suit and dark sunglasses. Flair welcomes the
crowd to this special edition of RAW. He says that tonight will be special as it
features the legends of old as well as some stylin’ and profilin’. Flair drops
the microphone and struts around the ring. The ring features red, white and blue
ropes. The turnbuckles are blue and there is a steel barricade around the ring
instead of the normal black one. WWE is using an old logo for the evening.
Randy Orton’s music hits and the WWE World Heavyweight Champion comes down to

before getting something off of his chest. Orton is unhappy that Stephanie
McMahon has granted John Cena a Title rematch at the Royal Rumble. Orton is

the man.
“Woahhhh,” says Ric Flair. He opted to stay in the corner instead of exiting the
ring. Flair points out his two Hall of Fame rings and says they show how great
they are. Flair believes Orton should face Cena once again and prove that he
really is the man and not just a one-night wonder. Orton says that Flair may
have been great but that was 25 years ago. In fact, Flair is overrated. Orton
demands that Flair leave the ring. Flair says that he isn’t going to leave the
ring and in fact has more preaching to do. Flair reminds Orton that he and
Triple H picked Orton out ten years ago because they saw him as the future of
the business. Randy was good looking and always had the ladies around him. But
on the other side, Orton also brought a lot of immaturity with him. Orton tells
Flair that maybe it’s time that he goes old school on him right now.
John Cena’s music hits. Cena makes his way down to the ring and gets between
Flair and Orton. Cena has a microphone and says that every time Orton opens his
mouth he drops to a new level of scumbag. Cena points out that instead of going
to him or the Authority with his problem Orton is trying to take it out on
Flair. Cena says that if Orton wants to go fight then he will fight. Orton
instead decides to slink out of the ring.
