"Then. Now. Forever." The WWE video leads us into the show.

Paul Heyman is in the center of the ring as the show starts, and the crowd immediately showers him with boos. "Ladies and gentlemen, my name is Paul Heyman, and I am here this evening to give you a preview of what will happen this Sunday at WWE Night of Champions." Heyman says first to come down the aisle is the former champion. Heyman imitates his music, and says all the children will be cheering for John Cena. Then coming down the aisle will be his client, the Conqueror, the Beast Incarnate, the reigning, defending, undisputed WWE Heavyweight Champion of the World, Brock Lesnar. Heyman says Lesnar will give them more of a reason to boo this Sunday. If they thought the beating Cena got at SummerSlam was vicious…

John Cena's music hits, and he makes his way out to the ring to a great reception. Heyman extends his hand, but Cena walks right by him. Cena says it's a little cliché, but he doesn't see "him." Where is the beast? Where is the one in 21-1? Where is Brock Lesnar? Cena leans against the ropes. Heyman says that depends on Cena's interpretation of "where." "Where" is a relative term. Cena says he said he was coming for a fight last week. He's either going to fight Lesnar or Heyman. Heyman smiles and asks if he really wants this. As a businessman, he'd like to entice them to spend $9.99 on the WWE Network, but Cena wants to come to Cajun Country and give it away in the Cajundome for free. If that's what Cena wants, that's what he'll get. Right here, live on September 15, 2014, John Cena versus "The Beast" Brock Lesnar! Here comes the pain!

Cena turns toward the stage, but Heyman starts laughing. Heyman says Cena is good. For those that haven't heard – he thought it'd be on the Internet by now – his client flies on a private plane because he doesn't like anybody, especially Cena. No disrespect from him, but a lot of disrespect from Lesnar. In modern day aviation, there are always delays. Lesnar's plane was delayed, but he will be here. Heyman thinks Cena knew Lesnar's plane was delayed and called him out knowing that Lesnar wasn't here. Heyman thinks Cena doesn't actually want to fight him now because he knows what would happen to his title chances in six days. Heyman says he plays the hero character better than anyone in the WWE, and he applauds him.

Heyman goes to leave the ring, but Cena grabs him by the shoulder. Cena says he thinks Heyman is full of crap. Here is what he knows: seven days ago, he gave him twenty-four hours to produce the beast because he was coming for a fight. In about eighty minutes, if Lesnar doesn't show up, that means its halftime. He's not waiting until the end of RAW. If there isn't a Beast here by then, he's going to kick Heyman's ass. Heyman sheepishly says he'll let Cena know when Lesnar gets here, and he leaves the ring. Cena quickly gets in front of him at ringside. Cena says he doesn't trust Heyman. Tonight, Cajun Country wants a fight. All he's going to do right now is make sure they get one. Cena puts Heyman in a headlock and drags him up the ramp and through the entrance area.

The Great Khali is seen standing in front of John Cena's locker room. Will Brock Lesnar show up? We'll find out, next.

-Commercial Break-

John Cena goes up to The Great Khali and bangs on the door. Paul Heyman immediately starts screaming as Cena says, "It's show time!" Cena puts him in a headlock and pulls him through the backstage area.

Cena pulls Heyman down to the ring and rolls him inside of it. Heyman begs for mercy as Cena grabs him by the tie. Cena says, "Ladies and gentlemen, my name is John Cena, and now is the moment you've all been waiting for. It's time to watch the great Heyman-dini, the great Paul Heyman behind 21-1 is going to magically make a Beast appear or John Cena is going to magically use his fist and make Paul Heyman's teeth disappear!" Cena tells Heyman to produce his Beast.

Heyman says everything about "Hustle, Loyalty, and Respect" is a sham. This is the John Cena he's been trying to pull out of him for weeks. Last week, he told Cena to take his aggression out on them, but he won't ever. He won't pull the trigger on the Cenation. Heyman says he's happy to be the trigger. To beat a Beast, you have to become a Beast. It has to be deep inside you. It's the hatred. He'll be the one to bring the hatred out of him. Cena won't hit him. That'll make him a bully. Cena knows his client's plane is legitimately delayed, so Cena is going to take it out on a 49-year old father of two. Heyman says Brock Lesnar is a bully, and Cena won't be Brock Lesnar. This is the precipice of an all-new John Cena. Heyman begs him to hit him and let it go. Heyman says Brock Lesnar took it away from Cena. Cena's mother and father raised him better with a code. That code is "Hustle, Loyalty, and Respect." That'll stop him dead in his tracks. Cena won't hit him, and he even deserves it. Cena will fail this Sunday, and he'll never be the WWE World Heavyweight Champion again. Heyman says Cena can't be Brock Lesnar.

Cena rips the microphone out of his hands and says if there was ever a human being on this Earth that deserved his face being rearranged, it's Paul Heyman. Heyman is the scum of this planet and a waste of oxygen. Heyman begs him to hit him and become his vision of Cena as a "Paul Heyman Guy." Heyman laughs as the crowd chants, "YES!" Cena looks at Heyman and simply says, "No." Cena apologizes before saying he planned this whole thing thinking Heyman would produce Brock Lesnar and show the people that he's ready for Night of Champions. There is no Beast. There's only Paul Heyman, an old, washed up, scumbag has-been who doesn't deserve the dirt from his hands.

Cena goes to leave the ring, and Heyman says he's doing the right thing by walking away. If he were his mother, he'd be proud of him, if his son was born with a pair of testicles. Cena turns around and shoves Heyman out of the ring! Cena warns him to never talk about his mother.

Brock Lesnar's music hits, and the WWE World Heavyweight Champion makes his way to the ring as Heyman smiles maniacally! Cena takes his shirt off and waits for Lesnar to get in the ring. Lesnar smirks at him before slowly walking around the ring. Lesnar helps Heyman to his feet and continues walking around the ring. Cena begs Lesnar to get into the ring. Lesnar stares at him before laughing and backing up the ramp. The crowd loudly boos, as Cena looks confused. The crowd chants for John Cena. Lesnar approaches the ring and unstraps the championship. Lesnar then puts it over his shoulder and walks off with Paul Heyman. Lesnar then turns around and hands the title to Heyman. Lesnar approaches the ring and jumps up to the apron.

Lesnar gets in the ring, and Cena immediately pounces him. Lesnar quickly gets in position and turns him inside out with a German Suplex before kicking him out of the ring! Heyman holds the WWE World Heavyweight Championship up at ringside. Lesnar goes to leave the ring, and Cena knocks him out of the ring. Cena punches away at him before sending him into the ring post. Cena viciously punches away at him as Lesnar covers up. Cena controls Lesnar and punches away at him. Security runs down to separate Cena from Lesnar. Lesnar has a little blood coming out of his nose as he walks off with Heyman. Cena gets in the ring and celebrates.

Lana and Rusev come out. Lana tells him to shut up. Lana says the one thing they subscribe to in Russia is the one thing Americans avoid – the facts. Since America's intelligence is declining faster than President Obama's approval ratings, she and Rusev has prepared visual aides to help them understand said facts. Henry forgot to mention that he competed in the 1992 Olympic Games. Maybe it's because he failed there as well. Lana taunts him about being inferior compared to Russia. She shows pictures of successful Russian athletes. President Obama cowers while Vladimir Putin stands dominant in the world market. Lana says Henry will fall to Rusev at Night of Champions.

Henry makes a promise to the people of Lafayette and the country. Henry first wants to make a pledge, and he recites the "Pledge of Allegiance." Henry and Rusev brawl to absolutely no reaction. Henry nearly gets the better of him before eating a superkick. Lana tells him to crush Henry, so he stomps the spine. Rusev tries to apply the Accolade, but Henry powers up. Henry hits a sit-out choke-bomb. Henry gets pumped up, but the arena is struggling to get behind him. Henry then throws Rusev out of the ring. Henry waves the American flag around the ring. They went 10 minutes overtime for this. Good god.
