A video plays that hypes up Smackdown's move to
the SyFy Network. They promote tonight's huge main event. Tonight Rey Mysterio
will return to in ring action to face Alberto Del Rio.
The Smackdown video plays as the new theme song "Know Your Enemy" by Green Day
plays. I really like the new video. We're then brought into the arena with a big
fireworks display. Todd Grisham, Michael Cole, and Matt Striker welcome us to
the show. They hype up Paul Bearer's turn on Undertaker at Hell in a Cell.
Tonight Kane has a message for the Undertaker. The announcers talk about
Undertaker's mental state.
Smackdown's General Manager Theodore Long comes out to the stage. Long says it's
his distinct pleasure to introduce Smackdown's newest superstar. Long personally
made the trade for him (wrestler to be named) and that wrestler is Edge! Edge
comes out to a great pop and is wearing Edge and Christian era sunglasses.
Jack Swagger is his opponent and he comes out with the Swagger Soaring Eagle,
which has its own Facebook page. Swagger congratulates Edge on being traded back
to his show. Now he can ruin his return to Friday nights much like the same way
he ruined his return to Oklahoma. Edge came out and embarrassed them. Edge had
the audacity to Spear his personal mascot. That eagle is hilarious. Swagger says
he's an endangered species and asks if he knows how hard it is for an eagle to
get medical insurance.
Edge says to get in the ring and he'll make him look stupid in three seconds.
Edge warns him to get the mascot out of here because he has no problem "flipping
the bird". That's Rated R!
Edge vs. Jack Swagger
The bell rings and they lock up. Swagger powers him to the corner and
immediately goes for the ankle lock but Edge fights him off. They circle the
ring and Swagger gets a single leg takedown. Swagger tries to turn him for the
ankle lock but Edge fights him away. Swagger hits a waist lock takeover and does
pushups on him. Swagger runs around the ring like an eagle and Edge gets out of
the ring to regroup. The eagle gets on the apron and gets speared off by Edge.
Swagger checks on the eagle as we go to commercial.

kick. Edge sends him to the corner and charges but Swagger puts him on the
apron. Swagger snaps his arm off the top rope and Edge falls to ringside.

two count. Swagger applies an overhead wrist lock. During the commercial break
they carted the eagle out on a stretcher. It's stupid but hilarious. Edge fights
up but Swagger hits an arm breaker for a near fall.
Swagger uses the rope to stretch Edge's arm out. Swagger drives his shoulder
into the injured arm but Edge starts to fight back. Swagger misses a clothesline
and Edge hits a pair of clotheslines. Edge hits a drop-toe-hold into the ropes
and a diving cross-body block. Edge rolls him up for a two count. Swagger
reverses a whip and hits a backbreaker. Edge avoids a Vader Bomb and back elbows
him. Edge hits a Tornado DDT off the second rope for a near fall. Edge goes to
the second rope and jumps right into a belly to belly suplex for a near fall.
Swagger sends Edge into the ropes but Edge slides out of the ring. Swagger comes
to the ropes and Edge snaps him off the top rope, stunning him. Edge gets in the
ring with a wild look on his face. Edge goes for a Spear but Swagger counters
with a takedown attempt. Edge counters that with a roll up and Swagger rolls
through that for an ankle lock attempt. Edge gets out of that and counters a
Gutwrench Powerbomb attempt with an Edge-O-Matic for a near fall. Edge counters
another ankle lock attempt into a roll up for a near fall. Swagger kicks him in
the arm but has a powerslam attempt countered. Edge hits a Spear out of nowhere
for the win!
Winner by Pinfall: Edge

"Dashing" Cody Rhodes is back with another tip to help us all be dashing. These

completely pumped up and says we've never seen a fat man run that fast. This is
a huge month for him. On October 22nd his movie "Knucklehead" comes out in
theaters. Then on October 24th it will be Bragging Rights and he's the captain
of Team Smackdown. Big Show says he needed to find a way to unify Smackdown and
show their determination. Big Show found a mascot for Team Smackdown and its
Hornswoggle. Hornswoggle comes out in blue face paint and a Viking helmet.
Big Show says he's going to be evaluating the roster to put together a team to
beat Team Raw at Bragging Rights. The Dude Busters' music hits and they get in
the ring. They say they're Big Show's guys and he doesn't even know who they
are. They want in on Team Smackdown but Big Show doesn't get the team name. Big
Show says he appreciates their enthusiasm but he hasn't had time to decide who
will be on the team yet.
One of the Dude Busters says they could just go to Teddy Long and be traded to
the Miz's team to face him at Bragging Rights. They wish him luck sleeping
knowing that. They take off their Smackdown shirts to reveal Raw shirts. Big
Show asks Hornswoggle what he should do and he just screams. Big Show says "good
idea" and hits a Double Chokeslam. Big Show rips the Raw shirts off them.

Kane has a message for the Undertaker and that's coming up soon.
-Commercial Break-
Paul Bearer is in the ring with a single spotlight on him. He's holding the urn.
Bearer introduces a man who should be respected, revered, and feared. This man
singlehandedly destroyed the myth of the Undertaker. This man left him a
pathetic, writhing mess on the canvas with his very soul seeping into the
concrete. It's the Devil's favorite son, his son, the World Heavyweight
Champion, Kane!
Kane gets in the ring and Paul Bearer looks pleased as he hands the microphone
to his son. Kane says years ago, when he was devising his plan, he never thought
it would be so easy. Then again he never thought his brother's pride would be so
weak. Undertaker may have sent Paul Bearer to the dark side but it was him that
brought him back because he's more powerful than he could ever imagine. The look
on Undertaker's face when Paul Bearer turned on him and gave him the urn was
even more satisfying than beating him in Hell in a Cell.
Undertaker wasn't the only one deceived. It was everyone in the entire WWE
Universe. Everyone thought that the return of Paul Bearer made Undertaker whole
and the only thing missing would be Undertaker's triumph. With the fall of the
Undertaker, all our dreams came crashing down as well. The Phenom, the man who
we revere above all others, is just like us. Undertaker is weak, pathetic, and
helpless at the mercy of his superiors. Just like the Undertaker, all of us
answer to someone. Whether it's our parents, spouse, or boss, we all answer to
someone. Now the Dead Man answers to the Devil's Favorite Demon. The legend of
the Undertaker allowed us to escape reality. Kane destroyed that legend and now
we have nothing left but our empty, miserable, pathetic lives.
Kane says that Undertaker has been betrayed by those closest to him. His legacy
has been shattered and he failed all his creatures of the night. It must feel
like he's in his own corner of hell. Kane tells him not to worry because they
are just warming up. Kane explodes the ring posts as he laughs. Paul Bearer
looks happy. I love that guy.
Alberto Del Rio will take on the returning Rey Mysterio later tonight. We'll see
MVP take on Dolph Ziggler for the Intercontinental Championship next.

he's not the essence of excellence. Del Rio speaks a little Spanish and says he
knows a lot of people don't understand what he's saying. The only thing we need
to know is he'll leave Mysterio as a pile of dog trash. The only concern he has
is how he's going to wipe him off the bottom of his shoe.
