“Then. Now. Forever.” The WWE video leads us into
the show.
A video kicks off the show that recaps what happened on Monday Night RAW between
the Big Show and Stephanie McMahon. She was angry that Big Show interfered in
the Battleground main event between Daniel Bryan and Randy Orton. She then fired
him. Later in the night, Orton attacked Bryan in the middle of the main event,
costing him the match. Big Show then came out, and he took The Shield out. Big
Show then knocked out Triple H in the middle of the ring.
Lilian Garcia introduces the Smackdown General Manager Vickie Guerrero to the
ring. They show a replay of Alberto Del Rio flirting with her on Monday Night
RAW. He gave her his scarf before kissing her on the cheek. Then, before Alberto
Del Rio took on Ricardo Rodriguez, Vickie made a match for Del Rio at Hell in a
Cell against John Cena. Rodriguez then rolled Del Rio up.
Vickie says last Monday on RAW, the fans witnessed the most heinous atrocity in
the history of WWE. The Big Show struck the COO of the WWE. Big Show tried to
compromise the main event of Battleground. Big Show is a deviant, and he should
have been fired a long time ago. While many laughed at the situation, the Big
Show’s problems have just begun. Twelve hours after the incident, there was a
“For Sale” sign in front of Big Show’s house. To top it all off, he is
unemployed. She stands in believing that Big Show deserves what he got.
Alberto Del Rio’s music hits, and the WWE World Heavyweight Champion comes out
to the ring. Del Rio does not look happy at all. Del Rio will face John Cena
with the WWE World Heavyweight Championship on the line at Hell in a Cell. Del
Rio says Vickie needs to reconsider this. He asks her to not make him defend his
title against John Cena. Vickie says that match is what’s best for business. The
name of the pay per view is Hell in a Cell. Del Rio says this is not fair. There
has to be something he can do to make her change her mind. Vickie asks if it was
true when he told her she was sexy on Monday Night RAW. Del Rio says every
single word he said was true. Del Rio begins to sweet talk her in Spanish.
Vickie says if he wants her to reconsider then he has to kiss her. Del Rio gives
her a tiny peck on the cheek, and she doesn’t look happy. She tells him to kiss
her on the lips. Vickie puckers up, and Del Rio stands back. Del Rio then gives
her a quick kiss on the lips. Vickie tells him to not do it like the gringos; do
it like a Mexican. She then does a strange jig. Del Rio then dips her down and
gives her a big kiss on the lips. Vickie then tells him to try it like the
French. She then laughs before telling him to kiss her some other place, like on
her backside. Vickie asks if he got the point. She is not going to reconsider.
Damien Sandow’s music hits, and he makes his way to the ring. Sandow says he
needed to interrupt this segment with some breaking news: Alberto Del Rio is a
phony. Sandow tells Vickie that Del Rio thinks of her as a “sex object” that he
thinks he can manipulate. Yes, Vickie is beautiful, and he asks her if she knows
what part of her he is most attracted to. Sandow says it’s her superior
intellect. Her Machiavellian tendencies and the way she manipulates her way
through life. Del Rio begged her not to put him in a match against John Cena
because he knows he’ll lose, just like he would beg her not to let him cash in
his Money in the Bank contract. His conduct and mere presence is not befitting
of a champion. When given the opportunity, he will show her that he is the
better man.
Vickie says since he’s speaking of opportunity, she always wondered what would
happen between the two of them in a match. They will have the match tonight.
Sandow will not have to cash in his Money in the Bank, and Del Rio’s title will
not be on the line. It’s time to see who is the better man. She wishes them luck
before throwing a sarcastic kiss to Del Rio. Del Rio then gets a cheap shot in
on Sandow. Sandow powers him to the corner and kicks away at him. Sandow charges
at him with the briefcase, but Del Rio quickly runs away.
Curtis Axel is walking backstage with Paul Heyman. He will defend his WWE
Intercontinental Championship against R-Truth, next.
