WWE SmackDown kicks off with a tribute image of the 9/11 terror
attack.
We start off with a clip of last week’s promo involving Paul Heyman
and Roman Reigns. We cut to the number one contender match for the
WWE Universal Championship where Jey Uso came out victorious.
In the ThunderDome, it’s Roman Reigns who who comes out with Paul
Heyman. Both men get in the ring as Paul Heyman says the tribal
chief has authorized him to enlighten us on some recent history. Two
weeks ago on SmackDown, they let the secret out of the bag. They
told everybody what only the two of them knew and two days later at
Payback, Roman Reigns wrecked everyone and left. And he left the
Universal Heavyweight Champion.
Heyman says last Friday, no secret, Roman wanted Heyman to say
everything and as tribal council, he did. And on that same night,
his blood line, his family, his cousin Jey Uso stepped up. Jey
emerged as the only beneficiary of a fatal four way match. Heyman
introduces the challenger for the Universal Championship at The
Clash of the Champions, legally it’s his cousin but he may as well
be his blood brother, it’s Jey Uso.
Jey’s music hits and out he comes to the ring. Jey tells Heyman that
he goes way back with his family and he has love for him. That;s why
he wanted to thank him because now he gets to compete against his
blood, his cousin, the Universal Champion at Clash of Champions.
Heyman states that he doesn’t owe him anything, the appreciation
should go to Roman. When Big E was taken out, it was Roman’s idea.
He just implemented and executed a command from his boss, from his
tribal chief, the reigning, defending, undisputed, Universal
Heavyweight Champion, Roman Reigns.
Roman tells Jey he doesn’t have to thank him, they’re blood. Years
they have thought about it, they are family. He is proud of him, the
whole family is proud of him, he earned this. No one gave him this,
he’s about to be in the main event at Clash of Champions. He’s about
to take a huge pay day for his family, this is his moment. At Clash
of Champions, that’s not going to be your moment. Like when we were
kids, I’m going to whip your ass and it’s all love.
Jey says they are grown men now. Baron Corbin’s music hits. Corbin
says enough, it doesn’t take a genius to figure it out. It was a
setup. Roman pulled a few strings to get a hand picked opponent for
his very first title match. And that guy just happened to be his
cousin. It makes him sick. There’s nothing that he despises more
than watching somebody walk around and abuse their power.
Out comes Sheamus to the ring. Sheamus says he is gonig to have to
agree with Corbin as this all stinks. Last week when he kindly
reminded Big E where his car was parked, he took an unfortunate
spill. It should have been a triple threat match but strings are
pulled and Jey Uso is now in the match. Sheamus asks how can anyone
prepare on such short notice. Jey asks if he wants time to prepare.
Sheamus says not now, the grownup hasn’t stopped talking. Jey
challenges Sheamus and Corbin to a tag team match.
Sheamus runs towards Jey and he throws him to the outside. Jey
throws Corbin shoulder first into the ring post.

and Jeff Hardy are competing for the Intercontinental Championship
when he’s the Champion.

friend? Well ding dong, yes I did, I loved every single second of
it, Bayley says. She says everyone wants answers. Michael Cole wants
to know. They want answers, she is full of questions.

have been through, who knows Sasha better than her? Nobody. She says
Sasha was waiting for the right time to strike. In her first break

become Two Belts Banks.
Sasha pretended to be her best friend but all along Sasha was using
