WWE SmackDown kicks off with highlights of SummerSlam. We see Becky
Lynch coming back and winning the SmackDown Women’s Championship
from Bianca Belair.
We cut to the arena and out comes the new champion Becky Lynch.
Becky says the Man is back in Little Rock. She says she is back and
back on top. Becky says she misses them and when she had to give up
her Raw Championship, it was one of the hardest things she ever had
to do. She said it felt as if she was giving up her identity and her
life as she knew it. But she is working hard to go back to where she
was.
She says she does have a new life, new priorities. But she’s more
dangerous now. She says she would like to say she is sorry for
absolutely nothing. She has been in the WWE for long enough to know
that it’s all about timing. It’s all when opportunity meets
preparation and all she needed was an opportunity. She says she has
been working hard every day.
Out comes Bianca Belair.
She gets in the ring and grabs a microphone. The fans chant “EST”.
Bianca says she is not out here to make excuses because that’s not
her style. But if Becky thinks she is ok with what happened at
SummerSlam, she isn’t. Bianca says she is the one that has been here
working too hard for too long and she won’t allow Becky to erase all
of that in 26 seconds.
Belair says she accepted Becky’s last minute challenge and she
challenges Becky to a match tonight. Out comes Zelina Vega. Zelina
says is this what the “EST” of WWE has been reduced to which is
crying for a rematch. The fans chant “You suck” and Vega tells
Bianca no one wants to see her get embarrassed again. But Zelina
thinks Bianca thinks should back off and instead of Becky looking
for competition, maybe she should have the match against Becky.
Out comes Carmella. She tells Bianca and Zelina to move out of the
way because Becky should be facing the most beautiful woman in all
of WWE. Carmella says that they told her one hour before her match
that she was Sasha’s replacement. She barely had time to do her hair
and make-up. Out comes Liv Morgan to the ring.
Liv says she doesn’t understand why they think they deserve to be in
the title picture when they both get beat every week. She tells
Becky if she is looking for a contender, she is right there.
Carmella tells Liv it must be nice to be in the spotlight after
spending two months in catering.
Bianca tells them they lost their mind because this has nothing to
do with them. This is about her and Becky. She tells Becky to give
the people the match that they want. Becky says meh and not tonight
as she walks away.
