WWE SmackDown kicks off with Pat McAfee and Michael Cole announcing
the matches for tonight. In the main event, it will be Riddle vs.
Sami Zayn. Should Riddle win, he will get a WWE Undisputed Universal
Championship match vs. Roman Reigns next week. Should Zayn win,
Riddle will be banned from SmackDown.
We cut backstage as Drew McIntyre is about to walk out for his Money
in the Bank qualifying match and he sees Butch. He grabs Butch and
throws him onto Sheamus who was also backstage.
WWE Money in the Bank qualifying match – Drew McIntyre vs. Sheamus
with Butch
The bell rings and we are under way. Right hands by Sheamus as he
gets Drew in the corner. Drew grabs Sheamus and throws him in the
corner. Right hands and a chop to the chest by McIntyre. Sheamus
with ak ick and right hands but Drew with a cothesline. He sends
Sheamus to the ropes and Drew with a Michinoku driver. He goes for
the cover but Sheamus kicks out. A chop to the chest by Drew.
Right hands by Drew but Sheamus throws him onto the ring apron.
Sheamus with right hands but Drew with an elbow. Drew with the
Bodhrán. He gets Sheamus on the ring apron. Butch climbs the top
rope and distracts Drew as Sheamus pushes him onto the ring post.
Sheamus lifts Drew up on his shoulders and he hits him with the
White Noise onto the ring apron.
-Commercial Break-
Back from commercial, Sheamus with an Alabama slam on Drew. He goes
for the cover but Drew kicks out. Sheamus throws Drew to the rope
and Drew with a clothesline. Drew throws Sheamus across the ring. A
neck breaker by Drew. Drew with a spinebuster. He goes for the cover
but Sheamus kicks out. Drew lifts Sheamus up but Sheamus with an
elbow. Sheamus with the futureshock DDT. He goes for the cover but
Drew kicks out. Sheamus clibms the top rope but Sheamus with an
elbow. Drew climbs the second rope and he hits Sheamus with the
White Noise off the second rope. Drew goes for the cover but Sheamus
kicks out. Drew goes for the Claymore but Sheamus hits him with a
running knee. Sheamus goes for the cover but Drew kicks out. Sheamus
goes for the Broue Kick but Drew catches him with a powerbomb. He
goes for the cover but Sheamus kicks out. Butch gets in the ring and
Drew hits him with the Claymore. Sheamus clotheslines Drew to the
outside of the ring. Sheamus climbs the top rope and a flying
clothesline to the outside onto Drew. Sheamus grabs Drew but Drew
with a belly to belly.
Drew runs towards Sheamus, but Sheamus throws him over the time
keeper area. A forearm by Drew. Both men grab chairs and they hit
each other with chairs as the referee calls for the bell.
Winner: No contest
Drew grabs Sheamus and slams him onto the announce table.
-Commercial Break-
Back from commercial, both men are fighting on the outside as WWE
officials try to break it up. Butch jumps onto Drew as Drew slams
him on the outside. Drew throws Sheamus over the barricade and into
the fans. Both men fight as officials separate them.
-Commercial Break-
Kayla is backstage with Lacey Evans. She says the Money in the Bank
contract changes lives. If she wins, she gets to challenge any
champion, any time, any place. She says Xia Li looks at her like
another victim. She says she may not be better than Xia Li but Xia
Li isn’t better than Lacey Evans.
Women’s Money in the Bank qualifying match – Lacey Evans vs. Xia Li
The bell rings and we are under way. A head lock by Li as Evans
throws her to the ropes and a shoulder tackle by Evans. Both women
to their feet and Li with kicks onto Evans. Right hands by Li
followed by a suplex. She goes for the cover but Evans kicks out. Li
with a head lock but Evans slams her onto the mat.
A snap mare by Evans followed by a European upper cut. Evans goes
for the cover but Li kicks out. A kick by Li as she runs to the
ropes but Evans with the Woman’s Rights. She goes for the cover and
gets the pin.
Winner: Lacey Evans
Pearce is backstage and in comes Drew. He tells Pearce he wants to
be in the Money in the Bank match. Pearce tells him there is a lot
to process before he can make a decision. Drew tells him to put him
in the match.
Out comes Ronda Rousey to the ring.
-Commercial Break-
Pearce is backstage and in comes Sheamus with Butch. Sheamus tells
him he has to be in the Money in the Bank match. Pearce tells him
like he told Drew, there is a lot to process. Sheamus says he
doesn’t want excuses, he wants results.
Ronda Rousey is in the ring. She says Money in the Bank is in three
weeks and she cannot wait because she can’t prove to Natalya that
the arm bar that she learned from her mom and she made famous is far
superior than the cheap imitation sharpshooter she took from her
uncle Bret.
Out comes Shotzi to the ring. She tells Ronda to shut up. She says
she might not have the experience of Natalya or a fancy submission
move but what she does have is serious aggression and a killer
instinct. And if she is the champion that she says she is, she
wouldn’t wait until Money in the Bank for a fight. She says the
baddest woman on the planet would have no problem fighting her right
now.
Ronda asks the fans. She accepts Shotzi’s challenge.

WWE Women’s SmackDown contender’s match – Ronda Rousey vs. Shotzi
The bell rings and we are under way. An arm bar take down by Ronda
as Shotzi grabs the ropes. A knee and right hands by Shotzi. She
goes for a suplex but Ronda kicks her away. A take down by Ronda as
she goes for the cover but Shotzi kicks out. Both women back up and
a snap mare take down by Shotzi followed by a kick. She runs to the
ropes but Ronda with a power slam. She goes for the cover but Shotzi
kicks out. Ronda goes for another take down but Shotzi kicks her
away. Shotzi goes for a head scissor but Ronda reverses it into an
ankle lock and Shotzi goes to the outside. Ronda to the outside as
she grabs Shotzi’s ankle but Shotzi kicks her away. Shtzi with a
tornado DDT on the outside. Shotzi throws Ronda into the ring. She
goes for the cover but Ronda kicks out. Shotzi stomping on Ronda.
Right hands by Shotzi. She goes for the cover but Ronda kicks out.
Shotzi goes for a suplex but Ronda blocks it. Shotzi with a kick to
the side of the head. She goes for the cover but Ronda kicks out.
Shotzi twisting Ronda’s right arm but Ronda gets out of it. Shotzi
with a suplex. She goes for the cover but Ronda kicks out. Shotzi
suplexes Ronda into the corner. Shotzi goes for a kick in the corner
but Ronda moves out of the way. Shotzi with a knee to the face
followed by a right hand. Shotzi goes for another kick but Ronda
catches her leg. Shotzi slaps Ronda in the face. Shotzi goes for
another slap but Ronda catches her and slams her onto the mat. Ronda
with an arm bar take down.
Ronda lifts Shotzi up on her shoulders and she hits Shotzi with the
Piper’s Pit. Ronda gets Shotzi in the arm bar and Shotzi taps out.
Winner: Ronda Rousey
Natalya with a right hand on Ronda and she gets Ronda in the
sharpshooter.
Megan is backstage with Riddle. He says he thrives under pressure.
He is thinking of what the Bloodline did to Orton and after he gets
the win against Zayn, he will get his revenge on Roman Reigns.
Ludwig Kaiser introduces Gunther to the ring.
-Commercial Break-
WWE Intercontinental champion – Ricochet (c) vs. Gunther with Ludwig
Kaiser
The bell rings and we are under way. A take down by Gunther.
Ricochet gets back up and kicks and right hands by Ricochet. A chop
by Ricochet as he runs to the ropes but Gunther with a chop to the
chest. Gunther picks Ricochet up and places him on the top rope. A
chop by Gunther.
-Commercial Break-
Back from commercial, Gunther with a big boot to Ricochet. He lifts
Ricochet up and goes for a power bomb but Ricochet rolls him into
the cover but Gunther kicks out. Kicks and right hands by Ricochet.
Gunther in the corner. Ricochet with a spear and Ricochet on the
ring apron. He jumps off the top rope, Gunther moves out of the way
and gets Ricochet in a sleeper hold. Ricochet gets out of it.
Ricochet goes for a kick but Gunther catches him. Gunther goes for a
German suplex but Ricochet lands on his feet.
Ricochet runs towards Gunther but Gunther with a clothesline. He
goes for the cover but Ricochet kicks out. Gunther with a sleeper
hold but Ricochet gets out of it. Ricochet on the ring apron and a
kick onto Gunther. He kicks Ludwig. Ricochet jumps off the top rope,
Gunther moves out of the way, Ricochet with a cross body off the
second rope. He goes for the cover but Gunther moves out of the way.
Ricochet climbs the top roe, he goes for the 450, Gunther moves out
of the way, Ricochet lands on his feet. Ricochet with a drop kick
but Gunther hits him with a drop kick. Gunther with a power bomb. He
goes for the cover and gets the pin.
Winner: New WWE Intercontinental champion, Gunther
Zayn is backstage and in comes Heyman. He tells Zayn this is the
greatest opportunity of his career. If he gets the win, he will have
ammunition to go to Roman Reigns and tell him that Zayn belongs in
the Bloodline. But if he loses to Riddle and as he tells him that,
Heyman shakes his head as Zayn’s music hits.
-Commercial Break-
Riddle vs. Sami Zayn – If Riddle wins, he faces Roman Reigns for the
Undisputed Championsip. If Zayn wins, Riddle is banned from
SmackDown
Paul Heyman is on commentary. The bell rings and we are under way.
Riddle with an arm bar on Zayn but Zayn reaches the ropes. Zayn
rolls to the outside of the ring. Riddle slams him into the ring
apron. He kicks Zayn and Zayn back into the ring. Riddle lifts Zayn
and slams him onto the mat.
Riddle with a gut wrench power bomb. He goes for the cover but Zayn
kicks out. Riddle with right hands and a chop to the chest. He
throws Zayn to the ropes but Zayn to the outside of the ring. Riddle
to the outside and Zayn with a clothesline. Zayn slams Riddle onto
the announce table. He throws Riddle back into the ring/ He goes for
the cover but Riddle kicks out. Zayn with a head lock but Riddle
slams him onto the mat.
Riddle with a right hand. Riddle with a suplex followed by a kick to
the face. He goes for the cover but Zayn kicks out. Riddle climbs
the top rope but Zayn pushes him to the outside of the ring.

Back from commercial, Zayn with a brainbuster. He goes for the cover
but Riddle kicks out. Zayn throws Riddle to the outside and into the
ring post. Zayn gets back in the ring as the referee counts to nine
with Riddle getting into the ring. Right hands by Zayn onto Riddle.
Zayn places Riddle next to the top rope. Zayn climbs the top rope
but Riddle jumps to the top rope. Zayn with a headbutt and Riddle
onto the mat. Zayn jumps and Riddle hits him with a knee to the
face. He goes for the cover but Zayn kicks out. Riddle on the ring
apron and Zayn with a knee to the face. Zayn places Riddle on the
second rope and hits him with the DDT. Zayn goes for the RKO but
Riddle hits him with a knee to the face.
Riddle with kicks onto Zayn in the corner. Zayn rolls to the outside
of the ring and Riddle on the ring apron hits him with a kick to the
face. Riddle with the Floating Bro onto the outside. He throws Zayn
back into the ring. Riddle with a power slam and Zayn rolls onto the
ring apron. Riddle places Zayn on the second rope and hits him with
the DDT. Riddle goes for the RKO but Zayn hits him with the Blue
Thunder Bomb. Zayn with the exploder into the turnbuckle. Zayn goes
for the Helluva Kick but Riddle hits him with the RKO. He goes for
the cover and gets the pin.
Winner: Riddle
The Usos attack Riddle from behind. They throw Riddle to the outside
of the ring. The Usos celebrate but Riddle hits them with a kendo
stick.
